41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 19, 2024, 11:43:15 PM
Congratulations to Manchester City winning the English Premier League again and hard luck for Arsenal and Liverpool in the upcoming years.
Epic results for all teams in the first half of the table except West Ham United which was defeated by Manchester City obviously and Aston Villa which was destroyed by Crystal Palace by five goals to zero!
Erling Haaland is the best scorer in the league with 27 goals and his teammate Foden is fourth with 19 goals. These two scored almost half goals of Manchester City in English Premier League Wink

Manchester City deserved it after it has been working so hard in consistnetly winning all of remaining games. I was referring to Manchester City's consistent late-game performance which is not even owning by its competitors. Meanwhile, its competitors were missing many points but city was consistently taking the full points. Manchester City has once again set a new record as the only team to win the EPL four times in a row.
It truly saddens me if Manchester City cannot defend Guardiola's decision to stay even longer than before caused by im willing to see pep dominate EPL again next season. yet again, there will be a final against Manchester united soon. I'll tell you an interesting fact. Despite struggling in the middle of the table, Chelsea has advanced to the final this season which is better than arsenal that was not even entering into the final match.
It's amazing to see this instead of Arsenal, who didn't even make it to the final this season. It demonstrates how well Chelsea compares to Arsenal.

Many people underestimated Chelsea and compared it to Arsenal by forgetting that Arsenal will never play in the final this season and chelsea has recorded a final match. It demonstrates that Chelsea has made greater progress than Arsenal in term of achievement.
Arsenal is an overrated club and it's hard to deny this caused by all of arsenal achievement meant nothing. Haaland has consistently been the top scorer in the Premier League as long as Guardiola is still in charge and we may be seeing manchester city to keep dominate the competition till guardiola will leave from there.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is next significant correction coming? on: May 19, 2024, 01:20:06 PM
-snip-
Don’t chase for the perfect timing to invest or trade.
Why not, it can still be done if you are really patient.
A trader doesn't have to trade every day to make a profit, but they can still make huge profits even if they trade 1 to 2 times a year. You definitely know what the scenario is, so waiting for the right time to invest or trade is not wrong.

Another consideration, prices will fall and rise over time. You can take advantage of dips to buy and profit when prices rise. The easiest example to find is, someone who had a large budget at the end of 2022 and bought bitcoin at around $16k has seen high returns in 2023 and 2024.
agreed with your statement that says a trader can only profit 1 to 2 times a year and still can make up for entire living expenses of a decade, its matter of how good the trades are , if you can profit so many from just having one profitable trade it will be enough, instead of trying to find as much opportunity available which mostly result in us overtrading that also gonna lead to loss.
a trader back then that long with high leverage on solana when it was still $12 are probably already making millions right now with just one good trade, opposite to people who just keep overtrading pumping up that quantity over quality resulting in mediocre profits will just pay higher exchange fee and ended up with mediocre profit as well.
it just doesn't make sense how people keep pursuing opportunities for the sake of peanuts profit daily instead of massive trade of the decade with millions of profit just longing or shorting altcoins.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 19, 2024, 01:09:29 PM
check slippage percentage you might find the swap platform lacking liquidity that causes there to be some big slippage that can cut some of your money, also check the fee required to execute transaction as well and see whether your really want to swap it instead of using exchange, personally I just use exchange its just a lot more convenient for me, no need to think about slippage percentage and fee, just fill in some buy or sell order then its all set and there's more likely close to zero fee so its really not gonna hurt if you just trade your investment into stablecoin occasionally since if we are talking about making profit its also better to cut down fees so that it don't eat our profit.
just imagine if ethereum gas price were still 30 gwei with current ethereum price its gonna cost you around $50 to swap alone that already eating up your profits and also without taking into account things like slippage which happens a lot to a coin with low liquidity provider in swap platform like uniswap.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 19, 2024, 12:54:50 PM
Quote from: asrinur
In my opinion, the best altcoins to invest in currently include ETH, BNB, MATIC, SOLANA, and ADA because these 5 altcoins have the potential to produce satisfactory profits, especially in the current market conditions which are in a bullish phase. But all the decisions are up to you. My advice is to invest in altcoins that you believe in yourself because sometimes other people's choices may not necessarily match your wishes. Therefore, be wise in determining before making a decision.
Whenever you make all those altcoins your choice, you will surely have something good to earn at the end of your hodling because they have potential teams that always make those altcoins to display perfectly to allow their hodlers to feel good.

I know that ETH is very good for long term hodling, which I have tested it last year to invested small money and it helped me to accumulate profits which I will always invest in ETH whenever their price dump.

ETH, BNB, Sol, and ADA are among the top altcoins you will invest and hodl, you will not regret for your decision because they always move along side with BTC bull run, and it will help those altcoins hodlers to accumulate profits.

i would exclude ADA for the list though this coin as much as good as it is, really underperforming this bullrun, there's many alternative that are just better, for example STX and SOL like the one you mentioned, performed a lot better, if we just try to invest into a coin that just does as good as ADA if not better, we can just instead allocate all the investment to BTC and ETH, these coins performed better than ADA i think this bullrun and the fact that these coin are top 1 and top 2 means there's lower risk of your investment going to zero or losing by significant amount.
i'd replace ADA with something else that truly matter to the market and having big investment coming in or instead just allocate it into the other coin existing in the portfolio.
that way you can get better risk management and investment.
also, there are presence of many new coins emerging these days, they usually also increase multiple folds within spans of month this bullrun.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: May 18, 2024, 11:56:37 PM
I see people complaining about Robert Lewandowski and they think his performance was not good enough during this season because of losing some opportunities and not being the good form we always saw from this player.
But the fact about Barcelona and Lewandowski is about this player and his effect on the team.
In the last season, Lewandowski scored 23 goals for his team but in this season, he scored 17 goals so far.
But Lewandowski's goal made Barcelona to get 17 points so far and he scored 0.54 goals per game and without him, Barcelona couldn't even think about taking the Champions League ticket for the next season.

That is true. His performance was only slowing down slightly and he deserves a place in the club. Rationally, keeping him is a no-brainer given his continued high productivity and barcelona shall not net to spend a lot of money again in getting the new striker. The only problem is that he now earns a large salary and it makes him becomes a burden for barcelona . Lewandowski's salary may be the reason for barcelona. His big salary could be used as another reason to kick him out. I believe that using his performance as a reason to kick him is not the appropriate reason.

His goal average is still excellent at the moment. Lewandowski still has a long contract with Barcelona. Barcelona will not sign a new striker. Using him will most likely suffice for the upcoming season.
He did not get injured very often either. It indicates that the club is still performing well.

There's no guarantee that acquiring a new striker will have the same impact as Lewandowski.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 18, 2024, 11:46:17 PM

Roberto DI Zerbi has parted ways with Brighton football club. This comes as a shock, there have been no talks of him leaving and out of no where he has left. This should suggest he has had some personal conversations with some other club, Bayern? Juventus? And he wants to give Brighton enough time to find a replacement before next season.

He is an Italian and played in Seria A and has coached there too, so a return to Italy is not off the cards. But I will put Bayern at the top of the list to sign him. They are desperate for a new coach and cannot afford to get it wrong with how disastrous this season has been.

- Jay -

This surprises me. I was aware of how frequently he mentioned staying in Brighton for another season and he was always saying it in front of so many journalist too. It appears that he is no longer happy at Brighton because the club is constantly selling good players to other clubs and this is why he decides to leave from the club. Even though this is still assumption but seeing how he has a big target while the club is regularly selling its players have been also burdening him a lot.

Di Marzio recently suggested that Acmilan consider him as a replacement for Pioli but may be some candidates will appear. Tuchel has been leaving from bayern munich too. It's possible for the bavarian to pick him as a new appointment.

Quote
Gianluca Di Marzio has given an update regarding AC Milan’s pursuit of a new head coach, suggesting that recent developments could shuffle the list of targets once again.
https://sempremilan.com/di-marzio-tuchel-de-zerbi-xavi-milan

I have heard that if bayern munich has been linked to him. There is no further development regarding this rumor but it's possible for him to go back again to the serie a considering that he loves to coach serie a club.

I can't even believe it when he decided it caused by he always told the public about his relationship with the club is always good.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: May 18, 2024, 12:04:45 PM
You don't need to consult or listen to analysis from any analyst, bitcoin's price increase is inevitable and will definitely happen, the only problem is time. That's why people often advise each other not to pay too much attention to the short-term volatility of bitcoin, look at the long term and bitcoin will never disappoint us.
agreed with this, people too fixated on the short term volatility like current price dipping but actually in the grand scheme of things most specifically bitcoin historical chart prices, we are still up higher more than ever, current dipping even doesn't give a dent to what bitcoin has achieved over the course of years.
honestly there phrase holder always win exist not without a reason, at the end of the day people who bought at the very bottom around $20k right now already having good profit of 300% increase, these people are holder that even with many negative news around bearish they are diamond hand that refuse to sell it at such low prices.
the long term investment with bitcoin is always good, from current chart itself we always see that price consistently increases.
even people who bought at ATH back then are profitting already.
just really can't go wrong with long term investment, just be sure to buy low when there's bearish.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC hit 1M ? on: May 18, 2024, 11:31:56 AM
well if jack dorsey founder of twitter say so probably there are many people that gonna agree, the limited total supply of bitcoin means the price just gonna increase and increase as long the demand is there and the fact that there's even bitcoin ETF in the first place means its approved means of investment and thats great because the factor that guarantees the price of bitcoin becoming more and more.
but before that we must strive for $100k first, if we somehow break that price mark then we can be pretty optimistic that maybe within a decade or more the price of bitcoin eventually gonna reach $1m anyway.
its gonna be such a good price but people that are trying to hold until that price probably need to hold for quite a long time like decades of holding with the uncertainty whether its gonna be really hitting that price or not.
regardless i'm pretty optimistic so many people predicted the price will hit $1m eventually and I think it will but it depends on the opinion of each people at the end, whether you gonna believe it or not.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2024, 11:26:21 AM
the thing that holds back most of country from adopting bitcoin is the volatile nature of it, some country just worry so much about the fluctuation that it could spell an end to their economy since some of country economy are fragile towards any slight economic phenomenon I think thats why many countries just decide to adopt bitcoin in other way such as just recognizing it as a commodity for investment and thats it.
there are many countries with the citizens not being able to afford fluctuation and price inflation let alone price swing of massive 10%-20% within a night so I guess that might be the reason.
but countries could definitely adopt the technology though since the technology of blockchain is really a breakthrough for voting for example.
but I doubt it will be adopted as a currency in this time around, so many countries are just simply too hesitant because the price could vary a lot.
thats why they also create CBDC in the first place.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying Vs Renting a Home- Which is the right move? on: May 18, 2024, 11:14:21 AM
It’s better to buy a home than rent but it depends on your circumstances. If you’re working in a city you don’t plan to be for too long then renting is fine. In normal circumstances though I think it’s better to buy because eventually you will own the house with no mortgage payments & your cost of living will be pretty cheap. If you don’t buy, will your pension be enough to pay ever increasing rent when you retire?
I guess the ideal thing would be just renting place or an apartment for the sake of work so that we don't commute too long and get tired when we get home and then save whatever money left for retirement and buy a house in the country side since we all know that buying home in a city is just not a truly good option anymore, the housing price sky rocketed, the average people couldn't afford a small house but we can still afford home in country side or rather to be frank remote country side where we gonna be far away for the facilities, too unfortunate but the housing price force to, even that plan is with big requirement that we have enough salary to cover for rent and still have many left to save up and to buy foods.
since from the news rents nowaday take up 70% of our salary its already ridiculous seeing from the perspective of someone who want to build wealth its just not possible anymore owning property through being an employee unless working in FAANG which known to be rather magnanimous with the salary or fortune 100 companies otherwise owning property is just a dream.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: May 17, 2024, 05:31:06 PM

Less than 40 minutes, the big match for this season is happening once again. Al hilal will face al nassr. I strongly believe al hilal will once again teach al nassr how to play better. It's likely that if betting on al nassr is quite risky even though the gap from the odds betweens these teams are not so big.

I prefer to pick al hilal rather than nassr. The match probably end with 2-1 as the final score.

Official line up has alreayd published. Im feeling good mitrovic and savic will be playing soon. Ronaldo may be facing another lose against al hilal.

My dream is coming TRUE! This is what i wanted from juventus!

Quote
Allegri's time at Juventus has come to an end with two games of the season still left to play. The Juventus boss has been fired and will leave the club with immediate effect. Bologna boss Thiago Motta is the favourite to take over from Allegri after an impressive season with the Serie A side.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/juventus-sack-massimilano-allegri-manager-fired-explosive-rant-coppa-italia-win-against-atalanta/blt52bbca6aae9c4530#cs2c62611eced3fdab
It is official if Juventus has fired Allegri and that's what i have been waiting for. Expect Tiago Motta to come in as his replacement and most likely near the end of the season or when the summer season begins motta will come as a new manager for juventus. I've been waiting so long to see Allegri jobless because he was unable in bringing the old lady to the top again. The old lady needs to find a good coach to run the club in order to make a domination again in serie a.
Many people disagreed with me on Juventus' decision to sack Allegri, but it is finally happening. I'm hoping that signing Motta as a new appointment will help Juventus perform better this season. Good bye, allegri.

Your Coppa Italia means nothing to the club. The old lady needs a new name to run the club. This is why Juventus selects Motta as his replacement. Expect Motta to respond to Juventus very soon.
The old lady must devise an alternate strategy if he also rejects Juventus' offer.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season coming soon? on: May 17, 2024, 01:52:43 AM
after bitcoin season then that is when altcoin should grow and when will this be? then that is the question because bitcoin is still in waiting and not growing any high from the previous ATH so what to expect in altcoins.
take time to wait mate because am sure it will come in right time.
but people shouldn't be having too much of an expectation though, the altcoin season might not happen all at the same time where all altcoins having good pumps, instead it might just follow bitcoin price trend like what happened previously where if bitcoin having rally, the altcoin also follow.
the market kinda changed a little bit compared to before, right now its just very uncertain, some random coin could be shooting up in price out of nowhere, the other will just having stagnation in their price for the entire bullrun.
choosing new prospective coin seem to be more better off for us this time around, but certain coin that has existed since long also having their own moments of bullrun.
i will be more focused in choosing coin based on trend and fundamental if i were the one to invest, because that seems a lot more prospective than just waiting altcoins.
but we also can't deny the fact that there's always chance for altcoins to go up also.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 17, 2024, 01:38:36 AM
I guess that diversification already great, enough we all know meme coin have tendency of going up together sometime so yeah it will be a good diversification but the meme coin that have lesser market cap usually have better chance of having bigger increase, i'd spent some of the money to the meme coin that are currently underrated but good enough for it to be able to have serious increase in price.
since we are diversifying, a little risk might help in getting additional profit, probably only spent minimal amount in the meme coin with market cap below $100m but finding one thats worth to invest is different thing since usually its gonna be tough.
so if you ask me whether putting all that 1k into shiba inu or diversify, i think it better diversify, not to mention shiba inu kinda stagnating.
but I guess you want to take advantage of shibarium or whatever shib gonna offer on our plates, personally i'm pessimistic with shiba inu.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100% percent scam airdrop don't get involved. on: May 17, 2024, 01:07:27 AM
I only trust airdrop coming from project that have partnership with large exchange and is invested by big ventures, considering the risk of interaction with smart contract these days, so many scammers attempt to drain us of our money through various means and this is one of them, therefore whatever airdrop i choose to use new address with no money in it just to mitigate risk of getting drained and also always selective when it comes to airdrop, never believe something thats too good to be true, not to mention most of airdrops these days requires you to put in some effort anyway, this kind of airdrop when the coin suddenly goes to our wallet just too good to be true also always have ulterior means.
be very selective, in the bullrun there are simply too many scammers hope none of us will fall to this scheme but sometime they just really use creative way that even veteran could be misled.
airdrop hunter as far as I know are the one that have higher risk of getting drained of their money because they interact with various contracts too frequently.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 16, 2024, 04:34:53 AM
has been profiting good from the various meme coin across many blockchain but usually makes some money in solana.
i'm contemplating whether to keep betting on these meme coin because it seems narrative has been shifting to the other blockchain from solana that makes the market of meme coin rather weak right now.
but seeing the latest pepe coin pumping it kinda makes me think whether to invest in certain meme coin like doge and shib, since pepe coin has already climbed meaning its already too late for me and there's bigger chance for me to become exit liquidity but i'm kinda intersted into investing in certain meme coin thats about to get listed in bybit and so on.

overall, my profit is not as good as the other people that went full degens on these meme coin betting thousand of dollars hoping the market cap grow into billion.
but at least i invested into the right meme coin few times.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins: Shiba Inu vs Pepe - Which one do you prefer? on: May 16, 2024, 04:16:39 AM
I guess shiba inu since they have shibarium means there's at least fundamental that makes up the value.

but i'm more inclined into investing in newer meme coins though sniping meme coin in solana seems a lot more fun and also doesn't necessarily need that much money to just get started on consider it like trying your luck.
with bigger meme coin i just don't really interested with the idea of spending all my whole life saving into meme coin investment just to get that small margin of profit.
but you should try to judge these meme coin based on recent gains in the historical price chart maybe you'll find something.

but i'm pretty sure that pepe coin right now is already over bought and might have correction, but its just my 2 cent so take it with grain of salt.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: May 15, 2024, 08:22:48 AM
What has been conveyed is true, I would like to add that where in this life we must be grateful for whatever conditions we face, thus we are fortified from all desires that are not prioritized, but if the situation is urgent of course we find a solution by borrowing or owing to other parties, but it would be nice for us to look for a loan if there is an agreement to increase the interest even though we can pay more than lent for an amount not specified at the beginning of the loan.

Yes, that's right, it's okay to borrow money to open a business and business, don't borrow money for extravagance and waste money on useless things, rich people borrow money from business partners or colleagues to open new businesses or new businesses, with so their monthly income and profit is to cover yesterday's debt contributions, and they do that with management so it is easy and neatly arranged, management is really needed, not only for our savings, for debt there must also be management, so that it is neat and not careless.
the whole point of borrowing money or taking a loan should be entirely on whether they can make more by expanding their business or source of income instead of luxury.
most of people that takes loan because of wanting to indulge into luxurious life always ended up so broke they can't pay their bills and their due loan so they just went really bad with their financial condition just because they want to indulge into temporary luxury, even though honestly if i were them i wouldn't even be able to indulge into luxurious life knowing that probably within a year i'd become broke because of such terrible decision.
instead i'd be more focused on trying to earn more and more money through investment probably with that loan money and will be so fixated into paying the interest as well.
thats why debt management is so important.
knowing that a single mistake of entangled into debt could spell doom, definitely a bad way to go broke and its a unnecessary problem too.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Also consider your mental State of health while investing for wealths. on: May 15, 2024, 08:08:29 AM
We also needs to learn on how to invest on our mental health, don't just focus on money or profit.
If the cost of your social status improvement is by sacrificing your mental health then it wouldn't be worth it.
Some people would rather choose a stress free job even if the pay is low, over a high rate paying job because they want to protect their mental health.

I guess all about life balance, if the job is too low paying then it might stress us further, we have job that sucked and then low paying one at that means double the stress.
definitely try to find a job and side income I guess, the job that is stress fee then we can hustle hard through side hustle and grow that side income up to the point where its viable for us so that even if we suddenly got fired from job we won't even worry about money since we have enough and just need to find another job.

the best way to live stress free is by simply having many backup plans to help us overcoming hardships, if we have backup plan and all the emergency fund available then we can just overcome problem easily without the need to overthink.
unfortunately that in its own is a luxury, not that much people can afford to have a backup plan either, so the cost of mental health is inevitable for them.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Bank on: May 15, 2024, 07:53:52 AM
I don't know for sure, but what I know is that the fundamental difference between digital banks and traditional banks is customer service. Digital banks receive reports or complaints from customers via digital means such as chat, while traditional banks receive customer reports by telephone or face to face. As far as I know, digital banks also have offices but with fewer employees, perhaps because the system is digital or online based.
traditional banks actually have customer support in various of their apps, sometime the customer service that they are having even more massive than the digital banks are having, moreover from my experience the overall experience of customer support coming from traditional bank which actually isn't really traditional since every feature offered by digital banks right now can be found on the app that these traditional banks are having are more better than the digital ones.
the fact that digital bank only accept complaints through chat or somet kind of media like that means they trying to be as efficient as possible at the cost of customer service experience being subpar.
but the fact that digital banks usually always the first to introduce sleek UI and better user experience in their app overall is probably the reason people use these digital banks.
