Good one Smiley

They will probably abandon those applications anyway, hashlets are so 2014.

Speaking of abandoning, it looks like credit card purchasing option quietly went away with the new Paybase release, or perhaps that happened earlier. I didn't see any official statement about it though.

Did it come back after it was disabled the first time for the Stripe ToS violation?

Did friedcat say that there was a financial report coming, or are people here just expecting it because it's about due for one?
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 13, 2015, 09:27:37 AM
Is this the GAW thread?
45  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 13, 2015, 01:14:31 AM
Long article about GAW and Paycoin.

Then, with Hashtalk posts, it is often the case that posts were not actually deleted at all, but instead, the URL of the post was changed.  When speaking with Josh Garza on Friday, he explained that this was an issue related to a limitation in the forum software they were using, which automatically changes the url of a topic if the title of the topic is changed.  It does this without adding a 301 redirect to forward links to old url on to the new one.  Of course, it seems like there should be some sort of workaround for this, but he claims that there is not.  He also stated that GAW will be moving away from Hashtalk, and back to a more formal website for important announcements in the near future.

Pretty sure you can link to the thread without using the title
i.e. https://hashtalk.org/topic/28881/response-to-charlie-richards-of-cointelegraph and https://hashtalk.org/topic/28881
both link to the same place and the second link will still work if the title changes. I'm very sure that threads were deleted and not just renamed

What does that escrow thing even matter? What's an escrow anyways? I think maybe you guys have run out of things to complain about and are just witch hunting for anything. Don't call Josh Homero and don't talk crap about him. He's doing really good and is buying paycoin at $20 each now. Sad to see you'll resort to anything to try to bring down Mr. Garza and his company. GAWminers has done nothing but be great and innovate the industry. It ain't easy leading an entire industry with innovation chaps think about that for a sec.

Argues that escrow isn't important. Doesn't even know what escrow is.

You're average xpy "investor" folks
47  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 12, 2015, 09:31:57 AM
Seems appropriate to remind what escrow means in GAW dictionary:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/22975

Let's hope the "Third-Party Vault" won't be some new offspring in Delaware.

Quote
@AnimoEsto said: cool ... who is the escrow you are using?

reread the OP

@AnimoEsto said: I have - I cant see who the escrow is though?

They have already been sent to the investors. The only coins that have not been distributed are HP customers. Those are sitting in a wallet until the conversion happens.

Quote
@Miramyn So when you said "escrow" you didn't mean the traditional sense of an independent 3rd party holding them? Just that they are safe in a GAW wallet?

We are escrowing customer coins like we always and would (why would we escrow through a 3rd party to hold customer coins?)

Quote
We have never used a 3rd party escrow of our own customer funds. That would be HIGHLY risky for our customers as we are insured and there are very few companies that move the volume of coins we do.

Quote
We were the escrow for the investors until they got their coins. So to them, we are the 3rd party. Hope that make sense Smiley

That's too funny. I hadn't seen that before
48  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJAM [INFO] on: January 12, 2015, 01:29:24 AM
Massively scammy. Not worth the risk especially for the low rates on most of the loans.

I tried it with a small amount to see how it worked split over quite a few loans and almost all of them failed to pay back, even though I only "invested" in people with a high rating.

speaking of backtracking: https://hashtalk.org/topic/28636/paybase-amazon-ann/23 Is this fucker realy trying to say he never said he was going to have partnerships with amazon ect? this is really getting bad.

Regarding partnerships
https://archive.today/jx4I4
Quote
most of you did your homework and figured out who some of the partners of our company will be ... Second, I already over-stepped our NDA once by disclosing partnerships, and I won't do it again.
Anyone know who the "figured out" partnerships were?
Quote
I got called out of a movie with my wife tonight by one of the very companies mentioned in that "article" who was pissed off.
He doesn't explicitly say it's Amazon he's referring to here, might be one of the others. But he is referring to one of the "partnerships" mentioned in this coinfire article
https://coinfire.cf/2014/11/22/is-gaw-miners-lying-about-partnerships/
so it's Target, Amazon, or Walmart.

I was just about to post the same thing. Ersus seems like a pretty special guy
"If someone can see it, even if they aren't meant to, then it's public"

Most people there seem to be pretty unimpressed with this move though.

I think financials are pretty redundant at this point. I bet FC has invested pretty much every liquid penny into the deployment of gen 4. Would love a heads-up or an ETA on the progress on the final BE300 chip, by the way  Smiley

How are they redundant?

Prior to the BE200 release, the financials showed lots of purchased inventory.  Little cash.  Little bitcoin.
These financials are assumed to show lots of purchased inventory.  Little cash.  Little bitcoin.

I'm assuming that's what HarmonLi meant by it.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12wJMe3A6Ie8ris86m2OJ_1vucurdcVtM3fDkNCjKIRI/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=true

But if we get the financials we won't need to assume. It's important for investors to know the position the company is currently in.
I really don't see how it could be redundant
52  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 10, 2015, 02:49:55 AM
What happened to the "30 days of transparent questions and answers"? Seems the thread was deleted on hashtalk (what a surprise). This was most recent archive
https://web.archive.org/web/20150105010254/https://hashtalk.org/topic/27529/30-days-of-transparent-questions-and-answers
Could they really only last 3 days with being transparent?

On the topic of "debating" over email. That is just straight up bullshit.
Why not do it over a public forum? If one party edits the emails how do you prove who has actually said what? You'd just have to parties saying "i didn't say that", "yes you did"

I have actually been playing with an idea in my head of developing a coin, calling it legalcoin with a say 100,00 premine the pre mine money to go to a lawyer of our choice to track down and prosecute scam cloudminers.Anybody any comments on this? or ideas along similar lines

"Will you accept payment in a currency that we have just made up specifically just to pay you with? What can you do with the currency? Well, if all goes well you can hire lawyers with it"
56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 01:41:52 PM
Still no-one on hashtalk concerned with 3000%+ annual staking rate potential with the revolutionary Prime Controllers. I can't get my head around how the GAW followers maintain their confidence.

Wallet still staking at 3000%+
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?119166.htm

Because that is a "test" wallet and GAW said all coins would be accounted for... So, they are appeased!

And why wouldn't they. When has GAW ever not been true to their word?
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 09:36:44 AM

And CC purchasing still not working on Paybase despite that pre-announcement by the CEO.

One person said it's working, not working for others.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/28513/so-did-cc-purchase-come-back
Unsure what's happening with it.
58  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 06:33:03 AM
I would like to stop for just a moment, and ask a question concerning the repercussions of what is transpiring here.

If Paycoin / Paybase fail, then many people will lose alot of their money.
I understand the reasons that you want this to occur for the founders of Paycoin, but have you stopped to think how many other people will feel that sting as you try and de-value the coin further?
If you want to be "whistle blowers" and police wrongdoing with evidence of that wrongdoing brought to the authorities, I applaud your efforts.  We all need watchmen to help keep us out of trouble.  But please think about those you are calling stupid for having faith in the company, and try to help them / warn them BEFORE they take a further loss.  Reveling in the decline of the price, and wanting to smash the coin out of existence, will do nothing but hurt those that are invested in it.  You should feel some compassion for those of that have XPY holdings, and try to warn against the drop in price to help your fellow man.

I started here and on LCT over a year ago... I do not post very often, but I do read. Today I have posted twice...i am as upset about the matter as anyone on EITHER side can be, but it will not help the ones that do not read these pages to deflate the coin purposefully.  Your efforts would be better spent compiling the evidence and reporting it in a manner that would allow Journalists to research/verify/and publish.

I'll stop now, as I am not going to say anything else on the matter.

So your suggesting to let the scam continue? Or do you think they're going to turn around and start running an honest company?
59  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 09, 2015, 05:47:47 AM
About the comment on Coinfire. 100% sure someone said that earlier today when it came out on their site when told the payments were closing. Seems all the comments in that thread have been deleted.

Someone posted the Coinfire article saying that they were behind the shutting down of credit card payments to which someone immediately responded: "..'they are like a torn in our side'..".

I noted it because if the misspelling. Trying to see if it is still somewhere, but fear they deleted everything too quickly.

Someone already emailed us to tip us of to say that GAW may have more than one Stripe account and simply switching from Paybase in Texas to another account.

Unsure if that is the case. We have reached out to our contact at Stripe again but likely won't hear back tonight. We shall see.

That would be amazing if it turns out to be true.
