I was able to hire the Steampunk novel / short story author Melanie Dawn.
She is going to write a short story that will be published at Machinecoin's Medium Blog.

Sure, you could setup a bounty at https://work.machinecoin.org if you want to speedup the process. This way we may can get some more developers involved that can work on their own new projects and include Machinecoin into it. |

I am not sure, but how I understood this new algo, its not possible to mine with an actual software on market. With every found block, the algo changes! This is his development "Time Travel".
Miners actually travel through 40320 different combinations of hashing algorithms which easily can be extended to nearly 1000 times that much. In combination with further optimizations miners then nearly won't recognize any difference by the increasing. Yeah, is there a way to have the wallet continuously mining?

Minerd does not know the new algorithm. Yes, I follow the link, must be without the /release
Ok, next question - master or branc 0.13 is the stable release? In the branch is 0.13 no .1.1 subversion?

Is there still development ? Can we expect anything this year ? And is Max Kaiser still involved in this coin ?
Would be nice to finally get some official statement from a DEV or Max kaiser himself.

I developed a 0.10 client for StartCOIN a while ago with the option to update it to 0.13 until the end of the year to get StartCOIN back to the top 100 or even into the top 10. I received no answer to my offer so far so I guess its not wanted/needed. However, my offer is still on the table but my time is limited. If StartCOIN wants a new wallet they can contact me but if I start my 5/6 new projects in the near future I won't be available to do it for quite some time. If the community wants a new wallet they maybe should say it loud and clear. |

can you solo mine with a cpu? or is it too late for that kind of stuff?
I started 1 miner on an old Raspberry Pi B yesterday and successfully mined blocks with it, so yeah. BTW: Anyone interested in a Machinecoin Fullnode on a Raspberry Pi? If so: you can pm me. |

To those that asked me via pm when the new Wallet will be published: the offer that I have send to StartCOIN to publish the new StartCOIN Wallet ends tonight. I have not received any response yet and I doubt that I'll receive one within the last few hours. I don't understand it because StartCOIN really needs a new Wallet but I accept it. It was a lot of work but I loved to work on it. StartCOIN has a lot of potential, a good (user) base and promotion abilities that other coins do not have and that just needs to be put into the right direction to move into the top 10 of all crypto currencies. |
