41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember: Dogecoin [DOGE] is not capped! on: May 09, 2021, 01:24:34 PM
From the start doge was jokes. apart from the fundamental that Doge has an unlimited total supply, do they have a use case? apart from being a meme. maybe there will be something new from this correction, apart from Elon who appeared on SNL yesterday making the price drop quite far
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Money flowing out of BTC into Altcoins on: May 08, 2021, 07:04:01 PM
Bitcoin is like the fundamentals in crypto. although altcoins may be able to generate better profits, you still have to be selective in choosing altcoin investments. maybe you can let your investment in bitcoin, and look for other sources of investment to invest in altcoin, try to do in-depth research so you can avoid losses
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden's IRS Plans Could Boost Crypto Adoption on: May 08, 2021, 06:50:02 PM
Don't worry, Biden's already addressed the whole transition to crypto by increasing the capital gains taxes on high earners. So if you're a small business, not too much to worry about because you'd never transition to crypto anyways, but larger businesses get to pay more in taxes, and there is no safe haven in crypto unless you want to tax evade, which is an all around stupid idea. There is no winning here. Sucks for business owners in the US.
Yes, I believe that no safe haven in crypto is real, I just wonder if their government is ready for a decentralized system. as we know that the government likes centralized systems with easier control and implementation. but let's see what they will do, because the value the OP mentioned is quite huge, if it can't be handled properly it could be the best jokes in history
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Will China take over the world with the Digital Yuan? on: May 07, 2021, 11:12:44 PM
China is a thriving country in the world. It is the 2nd largest economy country in the world after the United States. Digital currency is thriving in this country. I think that in the near future China's digital currency will dominate the world market. We should prepare for that to happen and receive it.
Just because China has the second strongest economy after the United States, you say China has great potential to dominate the world?  Overall China is still the 3rd strongest country in the world after the United States and Russia, so Digital Yuan dominating the world is still only a fantasy.

Digital Dollar will come in the market as well, that’s why its not easy for China to take over and I don’t think this is the best way for China to take over maybe there’s another way but not through their Digital yuan where only Chinese people will benefit on that. USD is still the worlds most acceptable fiat money, it wont replace by any fiat money.
Besides that, China also has negative views from several countries, imo. which made it quite difficult for them to implement their digital yuan. I still believe that replacing USD is almost impossible, and for sure they will focus on their domestic market first. With the many problems they may face, I think digital yuan is far from ready, at least for now
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires??? on: May 07, 2021, 11:07:25 PM

With the price so high right now, Billionaire investors dominates the market, we cannot say that they are hijacking the market, it is a capitalist market place and everyone is free to do whatever they want.
Yeah. those who have large amounts of assets can always manipulate prices. I don't think it's right to say manipulation or hijack, because prices are very much influenced by their asset activity. and as you say, this is a capitalist, you are free to do whatever you want as long as it's yours. it has become the law of the market today and we as ordinary holders can only adapt and take advantage of the market they compile

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 29, 2021, 01:28:03 PM
He has really become an influential person in crypto, I think a lot of people are happy because he has made the doge a third of the dollar. Many memes on social media doge coin price target one dollar. Whether it's real or not, we'll just see. As well as many who were happy, many were also sad, they were carried away by the flow of Fomo. Even in my country it is reported as a fraud. This is because they buy the doge at a high price and the price falls for a while. To doge, even today I do not hold 1 coin, I am already very afraid of this unreasonable price. I better wait for the bottom price if I want to buy. Elon has completely broken the theory of large coin supply prices will never be expensive.
We also can't forget the fact that Elon is also the owner of Tesla who already bought $1.5B of bitcoin. He's become very influential in crypto because he has the capability to do that. but I just don't like the way he does Dogecoin. maybe if he chose another altcoin with a good use case, it would be a different story. But for coins with meme backgrounds, and making people put a lot of money there, I don't think that's a good thing
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: April 28, 2021, 08:00:01 PM
HODL just like a life changing term to all the crypto lovers. If anyone have continuous patience and have genuine coins/tokens holding on their wallet then there will be no time bound. HODL today, in order to secure your life later. I have been HODling for quite a while now and I'll continue this thing as long as I am in crypto.
There's nothing wrong with Hodl. it's just that we have to remember again that the core of our investing (long term and short term) is to get a profit. hodl is very important if we know when to hold our investment and be patient not to sell, but there are times when the market is good, and we get the opportunity to get maximum profit, why wait longer? even though the goal of hodl is to get maximum profit, right? do not forget the investment fundamentals to continue to prioritize profit first
50  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 01:10:21 PM
Every country could create their own crypto but I think no centralized crypto currency could ever replace or defeat Bitcoin.
I for one would support our country's crypto if they choose to create one but I would still choose Bitcoin over it when it comes to Holding or investing.
Yeah and few Big countries already did like China but I don't think that would be enough to rival Bitcoin because first of all people like decentralization as a matter of fact this is one of the main reason why it is popular with investors because it cannot be manipulated by anyone, the price can only be determined with the demand and supply. Some countries try to defeat Bitcoin via banning and it really does affect Bitcoin but not entirely besides, people have their own way to pull of transactions even if it is banned through P2P. So I cannot see any reason or factors that could defeat Bitcoin
I think this is just some kind of gimmick? or I'm the one who made it wrong. because obviously if their goal was to beat bitcoin, it wouldn't make sense for those words to come out of their government. Everything that is centralized will certainly be able to be controlled and they certainly know that bitcoin uses a decentralized and opposing system
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good for investing? on: April 28, 2021, 11:41:39 AM
I haven't followed the XRP case with the SEC this far, but I think there are still some cases they need to work on. For now, I think BNB is the most relevant and profitable option. they are token burning, their ecosystem is strong and they are the product of one or even the best CEX at the moment. With the BSC, I'm sure BNB will be even more profitable in the future
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: April 28, 2021, 10:36:01 AM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this
Some projects will allow you to swap their tokens so you can contact them to know possible solutions. And this is a real problem if you wants to invest on shit coins in long term, you have to keep in touch with the project all the time if you don't want to lose your assets.
I don't know about the OP's case, but the project party should have provided information or at least explained to their holders that they are going to do a token swap, right? it looks really weird if they suddenly do a token swap without giving any information to anyone, btw, communicating to the project concerned and monitoring the altcoins you invest in are fundamentally important in investing
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Bitcoin support! Fall or rise? on: April 28, 2021, 10:31:27 AM
In the past ,I have read the speculation about the real value of bitcoin and nobody could estimate such and that is still difficult to predict till date because bitcoin is decentralised, not regulated and price can only be speculated. In recent past we were in the area of $20,000 but a year ago till now has seen a high growth despite analysis on real value. The real value of bitcoin is not known and predicting a fall because of fear of real value may be beating around price and prediction because it is unknown.
What is meant by real value? There are several factors that can determine the real value of an asset such as the utility value of an asset, the level of satisfaction if it is used, their number and also other things. but in this respect, bitcoin is very different from what we learn. The first is like you said, because bitcoin is decentralized, then bitcoin is also currently very influenced by trends, so the fluctuation value is quite high. determining the real value of bitcoin will be quite difficult and even nearly impossible if we can't find a fixed parameter that we can use
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: April 27, 2021, 02:57:13 PM
If there was any doubt regarding the intentions of Tesla and Elon Musk, then the latter's tweet seems to have removed it. First of all, Tesla has sold only a small portion of the coins it hold (10% to be precise) and Elon's explanation is that they sold the coins to test the liquidity of Bitcoin. In the end, it turned out well for all the sides involved. The reaction from the cryptocurrency market has been overwhelmingly positive, with BTC rising by 8% against the US Dollar.
Yes in the first few hours many people were shocked, because they thought that Elon and Tesla would liquidate their bitcoin assets, but after they received information that it was only 10% and it was just to test the liquidation of bitcoin, it turned out to be good. This proves that Elon Musk and his team have the capability to control prices and the market quite well
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: April 27, 2021, 02:35:45 PM
Wayback year 2018 when I decided to stopped crypto works, a time when the value of bitcoin and altcoins has crashed. I lose my investments, I failed. That is the time that I realized to focus on my regular job. And this year i am finally back to try my luck again in the world of crypto. I invested a small amout to some altcoins. And hoping for the profit.
Even though in 2018 you wanted to buy some popular cryptocurrencies and then hold them for 2 years, then today you are already a billionaire, because the price of Bitcoin in 2018 is very cheap when compared to today, so the profits are multiplied.
Haha maybe not bili, but still it was an opportunity that even I myself missed at the time. and maybe if there is a second chance I will try my best to invest (although that opportunity will hardly happen again, even with the next market cycle). Of course a lot of people are immediately attracted when they see a significant increase in prices in a short period of time, which is quite normal
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best alternatives to Metamask, where I can receive any ERC-20 token and ... on: April 27, 2021, 02:02:03 PM
What are some other similar projects to MetaMask and just as good?
As far as I know, two good wallets like MetaMask are Trust wallet and Safepal wallet. However, I did not use the Safepal wallet myself. I have been using trust wallet for a long time. It is very easy to use and it is a secure app. It is a multicoin wallet and supports many more blockchains, including the ERC20. There are many fake trust wallets in Google playstore. If you want to use it, you must download it from the official website.
Yea, trust wallet is pretty good since they are a product of Binance. isn't anyone talking about the Atomic wallet? I've been using it for a long time and I think Atomic Wallet is also very decent when compared to other multi coin wallets
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to use ETH on: April 27, 2021, 01:50:06 PM
The current Gass fee is much better than in the last 6 months. ethereum would be more and more favored by the entire blockchain community if only they could solve the gas fee problem sooner (because it looks like it will take longer than scheduled). Besides that ethereum has very good scaleability, which makes developers still choose ethereum even though there are other options with tx and also cheaper gas fees (for now)
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: April 27, 2021, 01:41:20 PM
Currently, the bitcoin market cap is high. and if the ratio of gold is in value, the price of Bitcoin is indeed higher, but for investment or risk, both are different between gold and bitcoin. I invested in both. since 2017 now the value of gold has increased following inflation in my country. in principle with gold we can maintain the value for money which is inflation every year, I've read many references regarding gold investing
So what are you trying to say? as we know that it is almost impossible in the world of investment to outperform gold. gold has been used as a reference or investment standard since time immemorial. even the parameters of the country's resources can be measured by the gold reserves they have. so it's quite unlikely that bitcoin can outperform bitcoin (in the long run)
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 26, 2021, 08:07:58 PM
This is a really good question. If the bitcoin price rises to 100K$, what will make people or companies buy at that high price? The answer may be, in my personal opinion, that people or companies will expect the price of bitcoin to increase much higher in order to buy.
Always note that whenever the price of bitcoin rises, people will be convinced that the price will increase more than that and reach new historical peaks. This is what actually happens whenever Bitcoin reaches a new peak, skips it and reaches a higher peak, and people regret why they did not buy at that time.
Currently, there are still quite a number of companies that have not invested in bitcoin, and we know that only a few major holders such as Tesla might be able to maintain prices if there is a market cycle. but you know, why do they buy bitcoins then the price goes up? that's because they have taken it into account, and they hope that by them putting their money into bitcoin, many retail investors will follow suit. When retail investors start to put their money on a large scale, large institutions will make a profit when the price of bitcoin continues to rise
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: April 26, 2021, 08:03:08 PM
yes, polkadot are well known as a good token, and some even argue that polka dots are an asset for the future if the current investment is aimed at polkadot.
In general Polkadot is indeed a good asset but I don't really like Polkadot at this point, because my heart still really likes SXP, TKO and BNB, because those three tokens always give me a gradual advantage in the trades I run now.
Comparing Polkadot and BNB may still be quite relevant, but the other two are not relevant because they have different use cases. Polkadot is currently developing, many are now switching to using polkadot because you know, the high ethereum gas and also maybe the scaleability of polkadot is even better than ethereum.
