That'll teach you

As MMC closed over sudden its doors yesterday I switched to this pool and after my first day of mining I must say I'm loving it here. Great website and stats and even better: 24h of mining without a single stale share. Cheesy Keep up the Good work!

Awesome!  Tell your friends.  The more the merrier!
43  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How many btcs do you earn everyday? on: October 20, 2011, 03:06:47 PM
Getting between 5-10 BTC / day depending on the total hashrate of the pool.  Got 29 BTC yesterday due to the 3 blocks we found in one day.  Grin  That's great luck for a small-ish pool like ours.

At 1000 MH/s you will earn about .685 BTC/day at the current difficulty.

Out of curiosity, what prompted you to point your traffic to BTCG?

Hat trick!  3 blocks today.  Woot!
glad i switched at the right time Smiley but its so hard not to go back with merged mining. Any hope in enabling merged mining?

Stop by our IRC chan.  It's been discussed.  Not sure the final verdict.

47  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why do you mine on deepbit? on: October 13, 2011, 09:38:59 PM
For those who PPS mine, BTC Guild's PPS Pool is by far the best in terms of performance, stability and payout options. I don't understand why more people don't use it.

- Instant payouts (no waiting for a block to end, no confirmations...just a running total of your earnings available at any time).
- Insanely LOW Stales etc.....like INSANELY LOW (4/4000 shares ON A BAD DAY, for me anyways...closer to 4/40000 most times).
- Established Pool with history.
- Standard 7% PPS Fee.

This is an insane big fee.
Compared to the 10% PPS Fee @ Deepbit ? ....... What PURE-PPS Pools offer a lower fee with stability and under 1% Stale count ? ..not to mention, paying out for bad blocks.....IMMEDIATELY, no wait.

No, compared to 0% fee of arsbitcoin and eligius, 7% is infinitely big.

About waiting: I'm not hurry.

About stability: BTCguild has a black past managing DDoS.
Must I really say P P S once again ?

In a world where 0% PPS is available, I don't know why you would mine at a 7% pool.  Longevity is irrelevant.  Why wouldn't you take the 0% and then move to a different 0% pool if/when it collapses?  Or move to your 7% pool.  Just seems illogical that you're giving away 7 points.

Can we seriously get shit going? Looking at the hash rate, Deepbit is Totally offline.

FYI.  Bitcoins.lc says they're not being ddos'd.

Oh!  Sry.  This thread says you're being ddos'd like the others: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=48008.0.  I scanned the page real quick and saw some people having issues.  You might want to correct the guy on that thread.
53  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 GH/sec] BTC Guild - 0% Fees, LP, SSL, API, 8 Decimal Payouts and more! on: October 13, 2011, 02:02:14 PM
We'd love to have some extra miners while the issues here get resolved.
54  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [337Gh/s] Bitcoins.lc - No invalid blocks, Instant payout, EU, IPv6, 0% fee, LP on: October 13, 2011, 02:01:00 PM
I know a smaller pool that would love to have some more miners while the issues here get fixed.
55  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why do you mine on deepbit? on: October 13, 2011, 01:55:26 PM
I declare this "try a smaller pool day".
56  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1400 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); Now LP&Ntime, NMC merged mining on: October 13, 2011, 01:48:44 PM
My miners' connections are very spotty. I manage to get 1 share in here and there, but then fails for minutes in a row. Website is unreachable.

I know some smaller pools that would be happy to have you temporarily until slush comes back up
57  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: October 13, 2011, 01:44:50 PM
Deepbit is back up! I missed out on valuable mining time Sad

Could have mined elsewhere while it was unavailable.  Plenty of pools would be glad to have the temporary hashrate bump Wink

What PSU do you have?

Have you checked the pins on your extender cables and on the mobo connectors?
