41  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you help me get past my concerns on: May 30, 2014, 05:25:40 AM
I'm not going to pretend to know much about this, but I know one advantage of BTC over USD is that it is non-inflationary. Another is that you can send money from person-to-person with no middleman, as in, not even a paypal-type service. Just one individual to another, and without the cost or legal hassles of physical mail.

Additionally it covers the countries and you are not bound have any specific bank account attached with it 'For persoon to person transactiions'.

Thanks
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Question on conflictual interest of central banks on: May 30, 2014, 05:19:22 AM
Lots of people believe (me included) that the root of our problem is that the central banks (be it fed or european central banks) are heavily affiliated with private banks.
Central banks should behaves in a way that benefit the users of their currency, but their affiliation encourage them to behave for the benefit of private banks.

My question is : Why do you think it is the case ? In central banks, how decisions are made and by whom ? What is the link (relationship) between these people and the private banks ?

Can you give me the names, and with evidences that back your claims ? (I always heard the Rotshild controls that, but at the same time people that claims such thing never prove it by linking their concrete roles into private banks and central banks)

I am not understanding the policy of the government, why don't they come with a clear policy instead of making so much different rules and stating everything differently. If a clear policy come in the market that will give a good benefit to investors and govt as well in the shape of taxes on earnings. I am strongly recommending that earning from the Bitcoin and gain should be taken care by finance  Ministry and allow bitcoin to enter into the open investor market as well as in exchange.

Thanks

The appearing of BTC has been causing some problems, such money laundry, crazy speculating, loss money for stolen wallet. It is normally the early stage of innovation! It is adapting to the real situation. One day BTC will be accepted by Chinese government.

Bitcoin should make clear its way and set a policy with the govt to have a common understanding and try to setup within the common market of exchange.

until we see more clear regulations come, and i'm sure we will see more in the next 3-5 years, it's the wild wild west. who is going to do anything about it? not the SEC, not the CFTC. not yet, anyway.

Right
Actually delay in the cleared regulations are due to different states and countries have different view on this currency. Because all the way this is property and earnings should be taxed.

45  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in China - Ooooh Wheee! on: May 30, 2014, 02:19:33 AM
No, not quite. That article is extremely misleading. Read carefully. "First Bitcoin ATM Installed by Robocoin."

Not at all, I think you should read this article again and understand.

46  Economy / Economics / Re: Store of value and medium of exchange on: May 30, 2014, 02:06:03 AM
It's a standard phrasing: "Store of value and medium of exchange". But for me it sounds like "animals and dogs". Because for something to be a medium of exchange it have to be a store of value as well. Medium of exchange is just a short-term store of value.

Wouldn't it be more correct to say just "store of value" (short-and-long-term)?

When purpose of earning in cash or equivalent adjoined in a task, it is exchange, that's right but exchange is paid of services and exchange in cash or equivalent either way is investment and return, this is basically 'Store of value and medium of exchange.

Thanks
