41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: March 14, 2015, 03:49:08 PM
So when will we pump then?  Cool

I don't think we'll ever see another pump like the one in May.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TWISTERCOIN New wallet to be released [YOBIT] on: March 14, 2015, 03:44:28 PM
I understand story with virus and Suprnova down are not something exciting, but any more or less serious developer would not be scared off by those minor issues. There were coins having much more serious problems at the beginning, but with serious/dedicated developer they overcame the obstacles.
Cant imagine a serious dev demotivated and run because of such small issues... If thats the case, it means they did not value this work at all, so easily dropped that at the first chance.

I am wondering what makes you guys think this is/was legit project and not a scam from the beginning..? The scenario is very familiar: newbie account creates an ICO coin, gets the funds, then sets a buy wall with remaining funds, dumps his coins on that buy wall himself, and run away... What worries me a lot, is the last post from the dev is this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=966354.msg10689784#msg10689784 - he is talking about ICO coins released. So ICO released == dev disappeared...  Undecided

I hope I am wrong in my assumptions, but I'm afraid I am not..

If dev is alive and is not a scammer, please post a single message. Its not hard to do.

It's only been a week since his last post on March 07

I am getting this error right now. Why does this happen?

I'am not sure how you got the idea to bump a three months old thread to be honest but well ... that error happens sometimes due to high traffic coming (it can be a lot of visitors or a DDOS Attack) you should know that Blockchain have more then 100k unique visitors each day .
Website works fine for me , just check it shortly as the message says .

~ Madness

I'm having no problems today, but every so often I get the error message. I do seem to have been getting the error more often recently though.

Dear Vertcoin Community

The Einsteinium Foundation is working closely with other coins to form a crowdfunding platform that will accept cryptocurrency and fiat. http://www.crowdfundingpr.org/10-cryptocurrency-communities-unite-form-powerful-crowdfunding-platform/  We are currently looking for coins with active communities to join the project and help make it a big success.  This kind of project can help cryptocurrencies to be recognize by the world outside of the our CC world. The more coins involved the bigger are the chances that it can become a turning point in the CC revolution.

All of the coins involved will benefit greatly from the project

Sounds like a nice project. Would be awesome to see Vert involved Smiley

If you can gather members from  the community to create a vertcoin team, it would be a pleasure to have this coin onboard the project.

Bobsurplus still involved with Einsteinium?

No, the board member of the foundation are armis, myself (djnocide) and varvarin.

What was Bobsurplus's involvement with Einsteinium?
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] Simple Monero GUI Wallet - Yet another Monero GUI made for Windows on: January 19, 2015, 03:42:45 PM
Nice, works as it's ment to. Can you work on a possibility to load an existing wallet? pretty please! Smiley

Hi Furi Bliz,

Just replace the wallet.bin and wallet.key files with the ones from your existing wallet. Will work fine.

I'll work on some GUI functions for this in the mean time. Just not too sure on the best way to do this, should it ask to import at first setup or put like an existing wallet import button under the file tab? Maybe both haha

Both's a good idea, then it's easier for people to find. If they miss one they will most probably spot the other.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple now worth more than Litecoin. Litecoin sell off in 3..2..1.. on: September 28, 2014, 09:12:37 PM
It could just be a price spike for ripple. Litecoin went down 3% and ripple shot up 13%, but could come down again just as fast.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stellar going up on: September 28, 2014, 07:59:32 PM

How low do you guys think stellar will go?

I'm hoping Cryptsy adds them so I can buy some without the hassle.

You can buy it on poloniex.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] THE COLOSSUSCOIN 2.0 IPO AND WHITEPAPER on: September 28, 2014, 07:39:45 PM
The only exchange that seems to list the old colossus coin is cryptsy, and their wallet was offline recently. I wanted to send my colossus coins from coinedup because it's closing. Are there any other exchanges listing the old colossus coin?

Their twitter announcement of the DDoS attack is over a day old. They have not even bothered to post any updates since.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future on: September 28, 2014, 07:04:12 PM
I would hold in both cases since I bought at a lower level, and if I converted in fiat in my country I would have to pay too much taxes for it to be worth it.

What percentage would you have to pay in taxes if you cashed out now?
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stabilizing at 400 for a bit? on: September 28, 2014, 06:35:20 PM
at $390 already... oh man..

Do you think it might go lower than the last hour's low of $378?
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today I bought 180 BTC (+320 before = 500 total) on: September 28, 2014, 06:33:05 PM
Just hold. If this is too hard for you, then sell.  OP is not lying, I am still full in.

Are you planning on buying another 2000 bitcoins today to add to the total in the title?
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What happend to mintpal? on: September 28, 2014, 06:23:00 PM
Mintpal was purchased by Moolah.

Mintpal V2 is due to be opened shortly. I think it was already supposed to have opened but they ran into a delay.

This blog says Mintpal V1 will remain open during the migration to Mintpal V2 over the next few weeks.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happend to bittrex? on: September 28, 2014, 06:17:54 PM
The big whales are probably too busy panicking about bitcoin's price drop to bother trading their alts on bittrex.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin (BTC/USD) Price Prediction. $4000-$6500 by August/September 2014. on: September 28, 2014, 03:48:25 PM
Anybody have a good prediction now?

I don't think anyone can be certain what will happen. Flipping a coin's probably more reliable than most of the predictions here.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mintpal not working ? on: September 28, 2014, 10:14:21 AM

I got the captcha below with a warning my computer might be infected with a virus. Someone else got the same captcha virus warning last night on his computer, tablet, and phone. I doubt they would all be infected, so it sounds like everyone routinely gets the virus warning included with the captcha.

This could frighten a lot of people, and waste hours of their time scanning for a non-existent virus. Has anyone else here had this warning?

Britcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=667820.0
Guldencoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554412.0

Country coins like Guldencoin and Britcoin are focusing on real world uses instead of useless features for pump and dumps. Is this the next trend in crypto currencies?

What are Britcoin's real world uses?
