41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: September 14, 2024, 05:37:03 PM
Now Liverpool is down by 0 - 1. 15 minutes to go. Can we at least equalize? We still should win the match.
Not sure if that will happen so easily because liverpool is extremely weak over Nottm Forest like you said it's just left with about 10 minute, let just hope they have extra time to equalized the game. Like seriously I am disappointed by liverpool on their strength towards the opposite.

It was really a surprise result about Liverpool v Nottingham because after all, Liverpool who in the previous three matches always managed to win without conceding and then played at home against a mediocre Nottingham team but in reality Liverpool lost. Worse, Liverpool were unable to score a goal in this match because I thought, if Liverpool lost in this match at least Liverpool still had to score a goal but in reality, Liverpool got a bad result at Anfield.

I personally don't know, whether there was a problem that happened that Liverpool played badly or got a bad result in this home match. Or maybe, this bad result is a sign that Arne Slot is unable to make Liverpool consistent because frankly, losing at home against a mediocre team like this is really a bad result, or maybe Liverpool really underestimated Nottingham.
Football is full of surprises and this is what makes gamblers to lose their bet because who on earth will believe that Liverpool will lose to Nottingham in Anfield. It was a shock to me because I lost my bet, personally I think the players were tired from the way they played or due to fatigue from the break.

Nottingham will be so happy to have full three point from a big club like Liverpool. Arne Slot should be prepared to win his next match to close the point gap. Only City have not lost any of their match.
Sincerely Liverpool disappointed me, it was one the games I felt will be a walk over for Liverpool, coming from a club that won Manchester united 3-0 at old Trafford and today they are losing at Anfield to Nottingham forest, a lesser club.

Nottingham forest will certainly be celebrating a victory I believe they themselves didn't see it coming, especially considering the fact that they played a bigger team outside their ground, at best they would have been hoping for a draw without seeing the bigger picture waiting for them. It just one of those games that goes to show you that football is most times very unpredictable and Nottingham forest had to hold on with their 1-0 victory till the end of the game.

Dem say who ask question no de miss road dat na why I de ask dis question because I don try to reason am in different ways I no see any better answer. Omo I feel say, the Big brother show na heavy distraction on the youths, hence the youths are distracted, the government fit dey nonsense, so them use Big brother hold down the youths. The Big brother show no really get educational value, na just a show way them dey use promote somebody's business, because if you watch, them dey usually advertise either new businesses or existing one. Maybe one of the reasons why people like the show na because of the heavy amount they normally give the winner and the sexy behaviors of those in the house, but when it comes to education or intelligence the Big brother show is totally out of it.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Bitcoin's Decentralized Nature Defies Government Control". on: September 14, 2024, 04:16:11 PM
WITH THESE,OTHER GOVERNMENTS CAN LEARN MORE.

Even if governments try to ban or restrict Bitcoin within their jurisdictions, it can continue to operate and thrive globally.....(Fact)

From my research I discovered China's Goverment made an attempts to banned Bitcoin, which is not going to be possible.
China's attempts to ban Bitcoin are a prime example of this. Despite multiple crackdowns and restrictions, Bitcoin continues to be used and traded in China, often through alternative channels and workarounds.

A coordinated global effort to restrict or ban Bitcoin would indeed be monumental and likely impossible to enforce. The internet and cryptocurrency technologies are borderless, making it difficult for governments to control or restrict their use.

Moreover, attempts to restrict or ban Bitcoin could even have the opposite effect, driving more people to use it as a form of protest or to maintain their financial freedom. This is often referred to as the " Streisand effect" - where attempts to censor or restrict something only serve to draw more attention to it.

Overall, or let's say nationally,Bitcoin's decentralized nature and global reach make it a highly persistence  and adaptable system that can continue to thrive despite attempts to restrict or ban it.
Bitcoin, its one of the most cryptocurrency that has biggest value in which we cannot do without.
Government of most Nations usually frown's whenever their citizens have financial freedom, they want to control everything. That's why I always salute the developer of Bitcoin because he foresaw the future, that government would want to interfere with the financial investment of investors and they've proven him right by some of these sanctions some government have placed, so the best way to keep the government at bay is to make Bitcoin decentralized which will even increase the confidence of investors because most investors want to remain private.
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crisis and near death experinces make people better and more like human on: September 13, 2024, 08:04:58 PM
Yes we have Lost the sense meaning of humanity.
I seen the people who been in accidents and got out alive now they live life more simple way and they don't make big issues of some small silly problems they don't judge others so much and they understood more that everything has the reason.

Crisis often teaching us how to get back again connections with other humans without looking others down because of their status or wealth.

If you talk with old people who been in hard times like world war 2 and seen horrible things they act much more like humans it's pleasure to talk with them.

I've seen even some long time convicted criminal who was in prison 15 years If i would't know that person was in jail i would't know even that because that person was talking respectful ways very calm and helpful.

I mean world going into dark period and a lot issues the crisis the hard times but i guess it's needed to make us again as humans.
So we need that Crisis and after that we act like humans again i see now a lot cold hearted people.

The fact that in some places you see there is some accident in the city even in the busy day time it would take maybe 10-20 min that someone will stop and try to help or call to ambulance or police.
For example even If car crashed....people just  see that they make photo with phones instead of helping and move forward.
We have so much the mentality that other people not our business to care about... because we all have too much issues and problems in our own life.

That's all ok until we don't need that fast help from someone.

So in some ways i support that we will have wars and crisis because only then a lot people can be changed and in Crisis we have to learn how to help each others and work together with each other again.
it's like everybody think there is some "centalised power" always who will take care of everything and will replace that missing humanity and we don't need to be humans becouse don't worry there is someone else who will do what i don't do it.
So let's go through Crisis and become humans again.
I don't think that we need crisis for people to come back to their senses to understand that they are human beings and should be sympathetic to their fellow human beings. I understand your point that war situation and crisis might bring some sort of sober reflection on human beings, but what we need more is properly orientation of the minds of people, government should help and sponsor agencies that will help to teach people on how to be pure human and be affectionate to the plight of their fellow humans.

Of course people change or learn a lot after experiencing some certain situations in life, situations that might have been life threatening to them or experience that might have thought them an unforgettable lesson, but we all are not going to experience all of these at the same time, so what we need is more of advocacy for people to have a Change of mindset, as they normally say, the worst kind of peace is better than a best kind of war.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 13, 2024, 04:46:36 PM
PSG became the champions in 6 of the previous 7 seasons. That is a huge domination but a boring one at the same time. There is no real competition in the Ligue 1 for years but like I have said many times, there is nothing we can do about it.  Sad

But at least it is going to be more fun to watch PSG from now on as it seems. Because we have a more complete team. Honestly I was also one of the people who doubted them after Mbappe left. But I admit I was totally wrong. Now they are literally set free after his departure.  Tongue  I always say that though, relying on one player is never the right thing to do for any team. No matter how rich your team is, you need to care about the whole team rather than only specific individuals.
I think it is not boring if there is another rivalry going at the same time, the problem is that nobody really fights for second place that much neither, that's the issue. If we had PSG be first all the time, and then other teams have some good matches that worth watching and had some stories and some narrative, then maybe it would make sense.

However, even Lille, who won that one title, do not look that great in most years, not like they were second many times after that, it's really becoming boring not just because of PSG, but others not being that great neither. Marseille and Monaco seems like they are doing something to change that, and that could make the league more fun, and could get it entertaining.

If you want proof, just look at UCL and what outside of PSG does, no other team from France does anything at UCL, they are just like some smaller nation low budget team, they are not good at all. This is why I think it's quite important to see that France doesn't have any other good team, and that's why they keep getting bad results. The moment we start to see other teams do well at UCL as well, then we will know that France has some good teams, but right now PSG is the only good team there.
Probably one of the reasons why the French Ligue1 seems to be less valuable despite the fact that many people consider the league to be one of Europe's elite football leagues. But over the years the league has been dominated by a particular club which has seemingly reduced the pedigree of the league because there seem to be no viable contenders who can dethrone PSG from the top. PSG has been dominating the domestic league since the Qatari owners acquired the club and began to bring in world class player into the club and several world class coaches who have turned the club's fortune around for good except winning the champions league. At the moment I do not see any other club than can withstand PSG at the moment but it still doesn't mean they would be unbeaten this season.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: September 13, 2024, 04:21:51 PM
Andriy Lunin extended his contract with Real Madrid and now it seems Real Madrid finally found their stable goalkeeper after all the challenging times they had so far in this team.
The contract of this goalkeeper was about to expire in 2025 and since he wanted to be in the first squad there was the chance for him to leave but now since he extended his contract with Real Madrid, we are sure that Andriy Lunin is not going to leave anytime soon.
Even his competitor in Real Madrid, Kepa Arrizabalaga left the team.

Andriy Lunin has proven that he is good enough as a substitute goalkeeper and can be relied on and this has been proven last season so the steps taken by Real Madrid management are quite right.
Initially there were many rumors circulating that Andriy Lunin would soon leave but finally Real Madrid was able to retain their goalkeeper who was quite meritorious for Real Madrid in the UCL stage last season especially in the semifinal match against Manchester City.
I think this is the right and reasonable step to take, Real Madrid does not need to worry if there is a rotation of players for the goalkeeper because their main goalkeeper and their backup have quite good quality.
It would have been a very disastrous situation for Real Madrid if they had parted ways with the Ukrainian goal keeper who saved them with several heroics last season both in the champions league and in the Spanish league. He was brought in to step into the big shoes when both Thibaut Courtois and Arrizabalaga were injured and he didn't only impressed everybody but also went on to help the team secure a place in the champions league finals and also featured in European cup with his national team (Ukraine) though the coach has reinstated Thibaut Courtois back to his place as the first choice goal keeper but I think the still acknowledges that Andriy Lunin has a bright future and that why they wouldn't want to let him go.

So far, it seems that the court tends to recommend Mbappe to find an agreement with PSG, and it's an signal that Mbappe can not win this lawsuit if he continues.

Why Kylian Mbappe left his old club PSG is unknown to me. I tried searching for it but failed to find it. I was kind of shocked by his decision. Because there was a bright future for Kylian Mbappe at PSG which can be deduced from the old stats. If the future cannot be determined by looking at past statistics. I heard from various media that PSG club was not willing to let go of former World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. Kylian Mbappe left PSG on his own, but the reason is unknown to me. Kylian Mbappe was having a good time at PSG, the fans loved and supported him a lot. His performance in PSG was also great. But as a team they did not perform very well, as a result they won other tournaments but never won the Champions Trophy. But did Kylian Mbappe cut ties with his old club PSG in pursuit of the Champions Trophy?
The love from Paris saint Germain was there for kylian Mbappé that's for sure, but then the young man just wanted to seek for a greener pastures somewhere else, he wants to win the champions league, he wants to win the ballon d'Or, he wants to conquer Europe and we both know PSG is not that club that will avail him with such opportunities unlike Real Madrid, a club that have the pedigree to obscale him to that envious height that he wants to achieve as a football player. Kylian mbappé's move to Madrid was just on his personal decision to make that move, because I heard he even took a pay cut to have come to Madrid.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2025 Qualifiers - CAF. on: September 12, 2024, 06:24:16 PM
I know many Nigerians will be angry with the result of the game because the Super eagles were suppose to have an easy win over Rwanda. IMO it wasn’t a bad outcome for us. The Super eagles have secured four points from the last two games. Osimhen is not very fit at the moment and just completing his move to Galatasaray, though he scored in the last game I still feel he needs some time. We have good players like Awoniyi and Boniface who are also good and able to start ahead of Victor Osimhen.

This is what I was expecting too but luckily our people were fair enough with our super eagle players. I like how Nigerians normally react with criticism when our boys play poorly and appreciate them when they play excellently. Our game with Rwanda did not turn out as expected but the performance from our boys earned them a word of appreciation because most comments I have come across online and offline are positive comments with encouragement to put more effort in their next game. I think having four points from two games with three goals scored without conceding a single goal is not a bad result. Moreover, Nigeria still control the top spot of the table with few games to go.
Yea, it's actually true that anyone that really understands football wouldn't be that much criticizing of their performance against Rwanda even though it didn't go as expected, because they kinda played well, it was just luck that wasn't on their side added with wrong officiating, if not, they would have gone home with the complete three points if that controversial goal wasn't disallowed too, so they tried.

And  finally, I have seen a lot of improvement from this our national team since Austin Eguavon took over, so I believe that the team is actually in a good hands.
It's understood that Augustine Equavon hasn't been given an official contract yet by NFF, don't be surprised that the boys might come back by October to meet a different coach, the set of persons we have as leaders in NFF can actually pull a stunt by inviting a foreign coach between now till October as that has been their modus operandi. There is no doubt about how good Equavon has handled the team professionally for this two games played so far and that's because he is one man with wealth of experience when it comes to handling the super Eagles, this is not the first time we've seen his ability, we just hope NFF will give him a proper contract that will allow him stay for a little longer.

I agree with you about the poor officiating of the Rwanda game, CAF would have at least added VAR to assist the referee, the world has gone beyond the stage of goal controversy not being checked properly to see if it was a proper goal or not.

When I first see the headline I shrouded my shoulders onto say this our government no wan stop to the amuse us by chasing shadows instead of coming out clean in terms of their acclaimed wey them say na to salvage the Naira from further devaluation.

Because how come wey na common #548.6 million in Naira not even in dollars sef nah the cause fluctuations of the Naira for a country wey annual budget na in trillions, whereby politicians dey the siphon billions in Dollars into their overseas accounts everyday and this one no com follow the cause fluctuations. Lol.

Why this Naija government just the always find ways to blame cryptocurrency for their incompetence with the country economy and currency devaluation? For people wey the do p2p trade for this our exchanges we dey use make ona try the remind una clients/merchants not to use/attach crypto related words for the transaction description cause na one of the means banks the take suspect such transaction wey the lead to freezing of bank account as we see for the image.
source.
The Government na directionless Government na, them just wan blame their incompetence on anything just to create excuse, since when them fight to remove naira P2P on kucoin and Binance the exchange rate to reduce to 150naira to Dollar na. 548.6 million reach watin ministers dey corner from their various ministries. As them notice say crypto na one aspect way the youths dey engage in and are making it big, them just wan control am by all means whatsoever. They are forgetting that the only way they can strengthen the naira currency is by being productive and not by all these shenanigans they've been doing lately.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My do's and don't's way of acquiring BTC on: September 12, 2024, 04:01:51 PM
2. I've sold few lands and I've made back my money already, thanks to Bitcoin, many said it was a bad idea but things went fine for me, I entered at the 17k bottom in 2022, the best decision of my life, if I can I would again, mind you, I have more than the two lands I sold, this might not be a good idea for someone who have one.

My advise here is that you should not rely on only one kind of investment, i think land as well is also a profitable investment, therefore, for selling one to acquire bitcoin and invest, then you should be willing in taking the interest made as profits to reinvest back on land again, because it also appreciates over time, while bitcoin may still remain as the main holding capacity of your investment.

I hope that you understand the need for us to have our investment asset being diversified, because we may not be able to predict what the future may tells, things changes over time, but having a back up will always be a profitable decision as well when making an investment.
I agree with your line of thought, but the successes he has recorded so far has given him some credence for the decision he took, the risk has so far paid off. He said of having sold about few plots of lands, though he has made the gain since he sold them and so far he has about 17k worth of investment as at 2022, I believe by now that figure might have gone up. My major point is that, diversification can only come in when you have enough capital you can use to pull through into some other investment, because if you look at the storyline, the whole idea of diversification wouldn't have come in if there was no enough capital, so the first step he took has paved way for him to venture into something else if he so wishes.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Trump - Harris debate really affect Bitcoin's price? on: September 12, 2024, 02:32:36 PM
Yesterday Bitcoin's price was a little down and I was reading on many websites that it was caused because of the Trump-Harris debate. Today as we see, Bitcon's price is up and reached 58K USD but today also crypto news websites publish that the reason behind crypto price recovery is the result of Trump-Harris debate where Harris won in many polls.
Do you also think that this is true? The crypto community expects a positive impact from Trump and since Trump lost, if the debate was the reason for the price dip yesterday, then it shouldn't be up today because Harris won the poll.
Is this true or do crypto news websites use this debate as a clickbait?
For the price of BTC to have gone up today, that tells you the reason for the drop in price earlier wasn't because of the debate Donald Trump had with Kamala Harris, it's just about the market forces displaying itself as market fluctuations happens every now and then, maybe the news agency are using the debate for a click bait just as you've rightly put, news agencies will do anything to sway the minds of readers and that's exactly what they've done.

Before now bitcoin has been growing on a steady trajectory with or without the input of Donald Trump, however it is good to mention that Donald Trump has been making statement about policies he will make for the betterment of the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin community, but that does not mean that even though he loses the election for instance that bitcoin will not continue it's growth, it is also of utmost importance to Note that the debate had a lot of discussions and it was not centered only on Bitcoin, so why will it have direct effect on Bitcoin price.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: September 11, 2024, 02:37:00 PM
The number of competitions that Madrid has to play certainly forces them to be able to rotate players well, as a big team and handled by experienced coach, of course they don't want to lose a single trophy from the competition they participate in ,so I think all competitions will certainly be played seriously and not just La Liga and the Champions League, see the number of injured players at the moment, Madrid journey may be a little difficult, but that doesn't mean they won't focus on all of these competitions, because we know how Madrid and Ancelotti have had great ambitions to win every trophy so far.
The player injuries experienced by Real Madrid at this time could indeed be an obstacle for Real Madrid to perform well in every match, but I also believe in the level of consistency of the current Real Madrid team. Because Real Madrid's mentality in the Champions League is always very big and Ancelotti himself certainly knows what to do and give his best for the team with the current conditions even though one of them is having to be smart enough in rotating players when the match schedule looks quite close for several competitions.
This is exactly one of the secrets behind the Spanish dominance of European football, In Spain they only have the Spanish la Liga and the Copa del Rey which is the league cup to play for whereas in other leagues like the premiership they have too many competitions like the FA cup, the caraboa, the premiership, which make it tedious and strenuous for the player who either get injured in the long run perhaps get affected psychologically as a result of the fatigue they are often exposed to due to the much games they're expected to play althrough the season. But in the case of the Spanish sides like Real Madrid, it's a bit easy for them because the league fixtures is strategically arranged in a manner that it doesn't choke the teams and the same applies to league cup as well, so there's enough time for players to be rotated and rested which is good for the players health and the teams productivity.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 11, 2024, 12:44:32 PM
Jorginho the palyer of Arsenal linked to Galatasaray. Galatasaray is trying hard to hire, more superstar players and they are aiming for high. Galatasaray isn't a weak team but seeing some players like Osimhen join this team was supering for them because the Turkish League is not strong and famous, Galatasaray hired players Osimhen and Mertens from Napoli and now they want to hire Jorginho from Arsenal.
While I think Jorginho is happy in Arsenal because his performance was well enough but in the three recent games they had, Jorginho was absent in the first squad.

Well I think the move will be perfect for the player in question considering the fact that over the years Jorginho has continued to experience a downward trend in his career and was only handed a career boost by Arsenal's coach Mikel arteta when he signed him up from Chelsea when the player fell out with his former employers, but since moving over to Arsenal he hasn't been able to justify the move thereby making less impact at the Emirates hence I think a move to the Turkish giants might help him get back on his feet and also earn him a place in starting line up of his national team Italy where currently he is not part of the starting eleven. For Galatasaray, I think the club is trying to embark on a new project and that's why they are trying to attract star players into the club, recently they have acquired victor Osimhen from Napoli, so getting Jorginho would be great for them if they finally convince him.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: September 11, 2024, 12:10:25 PM
It should be much easier for both to adapt to the team but what happened was the opposite and maybe it takes time for both of them to be in their best form. Three matches have taken place but Julian Alvarez still has not shown consistency and even they are still in the shadow of players like Griezmann, Llorente and Koke. This week Atletico Madrid will face Valencia and overall this will be an easy match for Atletico Madrid because Valencia is a team that is inconsistent at the bottom of the standings.

But the highlight is how Julian Alvarez can play optimally and is able to prove himself as a good player. Being in the top three of the standings will be something to wanted by many teams and Atletico Madrid will also have to be consistent if they want to compete for the title with other strong teams.

Alvarez scored a very impressive goal for the national team, but in Atletico he does not have such a high status, although he is a friend (and if I am not mistaken a relative) of Semione. In addition to Griezmann, they also have the recently acquired Sørloth, who will also be his competitor, and I do not think that Semione has guaranteed him a place in the starting lineup, for this he will have to show the best game he can, and high competition in the team can be to the advantage of the club, since each player will want to show his best game.
Julian Alvarez just arrived Spain before the season kicked off and hasn't played up to ten matches this season and shouldn't be judged by his few appearances for Athletico Madrid, though his performances so far for Athletico Madrid has not been as impressive as everyone expected for a player of his caliber but all I can say is that Julian Alvarez is a quality player and will always remain that world class player we all know him for when he was at Manchester city and when he plays for his national team. Julian Alvarez was part of the team that won the FIFA world cup with Argentina in Qatar a couple of years ago, and he also went on to win the UEFA champions league with Manchester City and so many other laurels with his former club and I think with time he will show the same quality he had when he was at Manchester city but for now I think it's too early to start talking about his performances at the moment because he needs time to adapt to his new club and the league entirely.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is The election worth the hype for BTC on: September 11, 2024, 11:07:25 AM
Should we be putting so much weight on the US election in order for Bitcoin to grow or it is just a dumb retail talk?

I see so many people believing that the election is everything for Bitcoin from here and out.

If kamala wins it is 30k for BTc and if Trump wins its 90k for BTC. ..

But Bitcoin was here before these people and it survived this far, what could possibly go wrong anyways if this or that happen?
Of course Bitcoin has survived this far before this people. I think the whole issue started when Donald trump was mentioning policies he would introduce for the betterment of the Bitcoin and crypto community, so that triggered the much support on Donald Trump for most investor and crypto enthusiast which makes Trump looks like a better option, so that's why you see 30k for Kamala Harris and 90k BTC price for Donald Trump, believing that if Trump wins, it will skyrocket the price of BTC to 90k.
However the sustainability of Bitcoin and the growth so far bitcoin will attain doesn't lie on this election, the 90k projection by some persons is just a make believe that if their own is in authority, that should be the price, forgetting that the price of Bitcoin can even go beyond 90k with or without the election as market force's can trigger a bull run.

https://dailypost.ng/2024/09/08/epl-arteta-reportedly-ended-arsenals-interest-in-osimhen-after-public-spat-with-finidi/

I am glad that Victor Osimhen finally secured a club after all the delays and tensions. Seeing this headline today, I think it is worth discussing because it has some lessons. To be a successful player, talent is not enough, character is more important. Victor made some mistakes that affected his transfer, he has anger management issues. His unguided comments about some coaches he has worked under are not okay. Coaches should have the right human management skills but no coach would like to work under a player who cannot control his emotions.
This news is fresh out of the oven and I think Arteta should stop his interest in Osimhen. It just ruins the atmosphere in the dressing room which is so harmonious and I don't think he wants that to happen. If Osimhen comes to Arsenal it will only mess up everything he has worked so hard to build and many players will feel uncomfortable with his behavior.

I also heard that Osimhen has parted ways with his agent and he blames his current situation on the agent's poor handling of his transfer. However, if you want to be a star then you don't need to complicate your own future and focus on fixing your less than professional attitude. When Osimhen returns from Napoli I'm not sure the offers will be as abundant as before.
The young man would have understood that, that particular outboost against finidi George the Nigerian former super Eagles coach will cost him a lot, most coaches are very keen about the character of their players and if they perceive any insubordination on the part of the player or any form of disrespect, they will start having a double mind on the player, and that's exactly what arteta has expressed.

As for osimhen parting ways with his agent I've not heard about that, but the whole issues surrounding his transfer shouldn't be blamed by on the agent as Napoli where squarely behind the entire saga, making sure they Stifle the effort of the young man to leave Napoli, only for Napoli to allow him go for loan to Galatasaray which is a let down on a big player like victor osimhen the current reigning African best player.

Over 1.5 bet on the super Eagles may not enter at this point because both teams are still struggling to find the goal, and it is looking like a game that will just have one goal at the end. Victor Osimhen starts the second half for the super Eagles after Victor Boniface had his chance in the first half. We need a win in this game as we had in our game against Benin.
Something I have noticed about this Rwanda team is that in the second half they have attacked the Nigerian defense more so it will be very wise for the Super Eagles to also remember to defend as they try to attack and get a goal. We had some good chances in the first half but we couldn't score maybe the bad football pitch is contributing to it

The Rwanda attack on the supper eagles defense on the second half was stronger than the first half, with the way the both side is struggling getting over 0.5 on this match may not even be possible, well it would have been very nice if the supper eagles will win this match so that it will add for them on there table, today's match is tougher for them because the Rwanda team is very difficult to beat if not with all the efforts of Lookman and Osimhen they would have gotten one goal by now, though I think it would have been more better if Osimhen had played on the first half instead of the second half because on the first half Rwanda team was a bit weak, so that would have been the opportunity for Osimhen to utilize.
The reason is that, the Rwanda side was able to observe the Nigerian pattern of play during the first half and they had to go back and  restrategize on how to attack the Nigerians. the major opportunities Nigerian had was during the first half and they would have scored more goals, I definitely agree with you on playing victor osimhen that first half instead of Boniface, the duo of lookman and osimhen upfront would have given them a goal.

however despite the fact that the game was a tough one for both Nigeria and Rwanda, I think CAF should do more to improve on their technology, it was really embarrassing to know that there was no VAR for this game, at least to help the referee at least to help checkmate somethings, take the Ademola lookman's goal for instance, that goal was disallowed for no just cause and there was No VAR to check the authenticity of that goal, at least to see if there was any infringement anywhere.

CAF should do more to improve on the technology of football in Africa, even the quality of the televised game was even poor, as it was looking as if we are watching a football match from the 1980s.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AND ECONOMY on: September 10, 2024, 02:14:57 PM
Bitcoin has many things to do with the current economic situations in different countries, some of these what bitcoin has done to the economic of many countries are -
first of all it provide employment and source of income thereby regulating the unemployment rate and increasing the efficiency of the economy.
secondly bitcoin could have hep many countries if they would have acquire some and make it a legal tender years ago.
thirdly it reduces crime rate in some countries because the reason for some of these crime is unemployment.
And lastly bitcoin rescues many families and individuals get rid of poverty thereby increasing the quality of life ,helping businesses, and helping the economy in different ways.
Bitcoin has really help the economy , this is just a nutshell of some notable works bitcoin has done to economy of many countries so i don't really see the reason why the government of some countries failed to make it a legal tender till now even after seeing what it has done to their economy.
OP I don't understand what you mean by Bitcoin has provided employment, you didn't explain how Bitcoin has made such employment, so you can throw more light on that for clarity.
I will agree with you that bitcoin is a source of income for investors that have made investment over the years and are getting their reward and interest from the investment, but this was not explicitly explained in your  remark as more flesh was needed to be added in your remark for us to understand what you are driving at.

About government making bitcoin their legal tender, don't forget that government of many countries already have existing legal tender that they use, so the acceptance of Bitcoin as a legal tender will come as a gradual process over time, and I hear that there are examples of countries that accept Bitcoin as payment for service made and the rest of it, so I believe is a gradual process.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Or Bear Market which is most preferable to you? on: September 10, 2024, 01:46:27 PM
Both the Bull and Bear Market are very important in the world of cryptocurrency, I recently learnt that for one to thrive in the market, you got to love both markets. Though they're both very important but different people got their most preferred/favourable market, those who don't have much in their portfolio and are yet to accumulate more love the bear market and constantly hope it occurs so they'll see an opportunity to accumulate as much as possible.
Well, that doesn't imply to those set of people alone cause whales still accumulate more in the bear market despite having more than enough in their portfolio, however their are others who pray for the bull market so they'll take profits, mostly those who invest on Alts, Memecoins or shitcoins, so what I understand is that the bear market is very important because it gives every class of investors an opportuniy to accumulate as much as possible while the Bull market is mostly important for those who wants to take profits, so that got me curious to know which people in this forum really like, is it the Bull or Bear market?
Everybody in the forum has his or her own interest, good a thing you've highlighted the difference interest every investor has, it goes to show that we all cannot be thinking the same thing at the same time, while some people are waiting for the bull run for them to cash out the profit they made, others are for the waiting for the bear market  to start so they can start accumulating as much as they can, so as the bull market has its own advantage so does the bear market has its own advantage.

However one of the most important things that should be considered is the fact that everybody is investing to make gain at the end of the day, so investors will want to choose the bull run as their most preferable time because that is when their investment is yielding profit.

Haaland is very close to signing new contract with Manchester City although his previous contract will be expired on 2027 but Manchester City has decide to extended his contract and since arrived to Manchester City Haaland has scores a lot of goals with this team and he always became an top scorer and this season Haaland can scores 7 goals from 3 matches which he is on fire

Manchester City has just make good decision because Haaland is important player for them and according to the news at his new contract Haaland will have release clause 175 million and Manchester City also will make his as the highest paid player in this team

Source : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13823961/amp/Erling-Haaland-Man-City-contract-Real-Madrid-release-clause.html
Erling Haaland since he arrived Manchester City have scored more goals than any European based footballer have managed so I think it's expected for Manchester City to table an offer for Haaland since they're very much aware that the Norwegian is attracting many top European clubs with his prolificity. The relationship between Erling Haaland and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is in the best condition which is why the striker is always giving his best whenever he's representing the club so I expect him to easily agree for a contract extension with his club Manchester City.
This will be a good development for Manchester City as a club if the extension deal is closed but will be a bad one for other English Premier League clubs who'll be forced to continue facing the deadly striker for a longer period.

Man City have truly struck a diamond, and it wasn't in vain that they had to spend 150 million Euros to sign Haaland because it paid off handsomely. So it stands to reason if Man City offer Haaland a new contract (with the change in the release clause option) because they don't want to lose their goal machine. He has been the top scorer in two consecutive seasons, and it's likely he'll get it again this season as he's started the season so impressively.
Certainly Erling Haaland will renew his contract with Manchester City and I believe this time around with a review on increase in his weekly wages, the young man has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that his Worth that amount he was bought from Borussia Dortmund. Same thing I was complaining about Chelsea not breaking the bank to buy Victor osimhen, because hence you get this incredible players they will really help to improve the performance of your team. As it stands now in the English premier League, there is no striker that can match up the level of Erling Haaland especially on his goal scoring ability. Pep Guardiola really has the Eagles eyes on selecting players.
