41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 27, 2024, 08:39:47 PM
Arsenal had consistency performance in last two season but keep can't reach the higher round in Champion League after this season eliminating from quarter final round.
Arsenal performed well in domestic league keep pressure Manchester City until the last matchday before winning Premier League trophies in Champion League they can't performed well as consistency in domestic league.

Arsenal seems lack winning mentality on many crucial matches when facing top teams, I doubt next season their perform well in Champion League if the knock out round or quarter final round have to face top teams such as Bayern Munich or possibility have to face Real Madrid. Arteta need improving his teams with winning mentality against the top teams and Arsenal is the only of big four Premier League teams never winning Champion League trophy.
I'm still curious about what happened to Arsenal, they were always able to maintain their performance at the start of the season, but as the season approached the end, their performance slowly started to decline. This situation really affects their progress in the Champions League, failure is often experienced due to not being able to compete with other teams. The Champions League is more competitive than any other league, you need to maintain your performance to reach the final round.

Arsenal must bring in quality and experienced players in winning trophies, their presence can help Arsenal build a winning mentality. Arteta, who has succeeded in improving Arsenal performance, must focus more on his team's performance, which often slips towards the end of the season. A strong team mentality will enable Arsenal to compete with other strong teams.
Arsenal's weakness is that they cannot maintain consistency until the end of the season. As you said, Arsenal in the last two seasons at the start of the season played very impressively but entering the second half of the season they seemed to have lost stamina. This will probably be a serious job for Arteta so that next season he doesn't repeat the same mistakes. because Arsenal's game under Arteta was actually good, it's just that Arteta didn't dare to rotate players, which made his players tired.

Arsenal this season failed in the EPL league and also failed in the UCL league, this is because Arteta played too many core players without rotating players so that in important matches they could not perform optimally. It must be admitted that Arsenal and Bayern Munich's performance this season was actually better than Arsenal's compared to Bayern Munich, but because Arteta couldn't take advantage of it, they ultimately lost to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. So in my opinion, next season Arteta will not only buy quality players but he must also have the courage to rotate players because this is to maintain the players' fitness and stamina.
One of the major problems I find out with Arsenal is the fact that they don't have a second eleven that will take over from the first eleven at the middle of the season, more like enter changeable players, so most times you find out that the first eleven guys are already tired and having fatigue, so the strength to keep on keeping on just like Manchester City  who enjoys a bench that sometimes have the likes of jack Grealish and the rest,  I remember when Kevin De Bruyne was injured and he stayed out for so time, other players where paddling the Manchester City boat without any hesitation and they where still consistent with their winning, the same thing happened when Erling Haaland was injured too. So for Arteta to build a formidable team that can stand the storm during the middle of the season, he needs to build another set of a solid First eleven.
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful about free streaming of UEFA EURO 2024 - Medusa Malware on: June 27, 2024, 02:55:35 PM
The Medusa malware has re-emerge in the last couple of months, and since we are in the UEFA EURO 2024 fever, they've adjust and try to take advantage of this sporting events and uses it as a bait for download and to steal all information that they can get from their victims,

So it targets mostly countries obviously in Europe as this is the most hype as far as UEFA EURO 2024 goes. And this time the malware botnet is light, but more capabilities like screen capture, so for the victims, they think that they might safe but they are not.

The recent dropper apps includes a fake streaming app called 4K, and so that's where we can be trap if we are looking for free streaming for our UEFA EURO 2024.

So for football fans out here in our community, just be very careful of looking for free streaming in the internet or in our mobile devices as we don't know if the streaming that we will access is dropping something in our device from the background and could steal our sensitive information including banking logins and our crypto wallets.

https://www.cleafy.com/cleafy-labs/medusa-reborn-a-new-compact-variant-discovered
That's why I don't enjoy streaming matches from an unverified sites using my laptop or my cell phone, I instead painstakingly pay for my TV subscription whenever it expires just to enable me watch football match especially this UEFA EURO 2024 and Copa America that is currently going on. OP thanks for this update as to be forewarned is to be forearmed. this scammers will use any slightest opportunity to access your personal data with unscrupulous methods especially now that they know that a lot of people will want to stream matches even outside their comfort zone with their devices.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your strategies of spreading bitcoin given to you to yield more. on: June 27, 2024, 02:33:17 PM
At this present economic inflation in some countries and you are given three (3 btc) bitcoin to be spend within period of three (3) months for other investment that will give you return of income that worth values of three bitcoin that has been given to you to spend within three months time...my question is that as a cryptocurrency investor and bitcoin investors what investment can you join differently that will give you more than the value of bitcoin given to you? Both in your country and any other countries you maybe?

If you love bitcoin don't ignore this thread.
It's almost impossible for you to make such return in investment for just three months in Bitcoin, except your are an expert Forex trader that has minimal losses because Forex is another skill that have such potential to give you such huge amount on return of investment in a short while but exclusively for experts, because even if you invest 3btc in Bitcoin, it will not triple the amount within three months, it certainly take an appreciable long period of holding for you to get that amount.

But for you to even see somebody that will give you 3btc for you to run this experiment, might be really difficult because it's almost impossible in our society, though not ruling out the fact that it can happen but it's rare.
44  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Learn and observe the market on: June 26, 2024, 10:39:57 PM
Many of us that have been in the crypto market for sometime, we have come across different seasons in the market which can be increase in price and decrease in price. I just hope our interest in the market is not just only anticipating to make profit in the market, but we should be able to learn from the market and observe the market very well. Observing the market gives good knowledge about the crypto market, knowledge that can help one to stay calm even when the market is going down knowing that it will later come up. With the movement of the market investor needs to understand that crypto profit is not what one needs to rely on.
I urge every beginners to take note of every even that has been happening in the market, it will change the wrong mindset of about cryptocurrency and it will also help one to make good plans for every investment.  Getting profit shouldn't be all we are waiting for but to also learn from the market events .
The thing is, sometimes practical experience teaches people better, more like it will give you first hand experience of how the market forces displays. So beginners should be ready and be open minded about the fact that, they will make losses along the line but that shouldn't deter you, as it's part of  the experience of volatility of the market, even after you've taken all the precautionary methods and what not to do. So is your consistency over time that will help you shape a pattern to which you will know when to enter the market and how to create out your own profit.

Another thing way dey important for the cryptocurrency market, na to study about crypto and to Sabi am well well to your own advantage, way be say nobody fit just come tell u anyhow story and you believe am, so you gats learn so you fit master on your own too.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Resourcefulness in authorities legalizing Bitcoin on: June 26, 2024, 05:01:19 PM
I  recently read in the gambling board that the Thailand Prime Minister is set to legalize gambling for an option to generate national revenue through its taxes after it has been lawfully pronounced illegal activity in the pasts.

Such a smart move opted me to digress on the thread  that those governments who had tagged Bitcoin an illegal developed technology in their various countries should have a rethink.
Behold they can not wave off the existence of Bitcoin entirely from the regions as their would always be numerous of Bitcoin enthusiasts mining and Investors making good profits on it anonymously.

And also those having the digital currencies for Alt payments using decentralized exchanges would be unstoppable and beyond the awareness of the government.

Meanwhile it could be a medium that if it is legalized, the government can make lucrative source of revenues on taxations to boost the economy maybe if they can set up interactive and responsive dialogues with the centralized exchanges.
I think such can only be actualized if the government authorities are amidst of scientific entrepreneurs.
There are significant issues that are a bit of an issue with me, first the issue concerning government across board to allow the free flow of cryptocurrency activities, the truth is that most government will want to frown at Bitcoin activities and cryptocurrency and it's market, the thing is that they cannot control Bitcoin because of it's decentralized nature, and  we all know how CBN of most countries want to be incharge of every penny that is spent in their domain, and Bitcoin doesn't give them that privilege of such luxury, so to them it's not an entirely a win win situation for the government giving their authoritative nature.

So for this initiative you've suggested OP to work, the Governments who have tagged Bitcoin illegal before now, needs to come out open with clean mindset and embrace Bitcoin without any reservations of any sort, then they will begin to witness the Goodies that is associated with cryptocurrency.
46  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Personal interest should not despite reality in politics on: June 26, 2024, 03:51:11 PM
Political interest has caused so many harm to our society in terms of good leadership, policy and economy because a lot of people especially politician see politics as a game of interest rather than looking forward to producing a good leader that will have the interest of their nation at heart. Many politicians have sold their conscience because of political interest and sometimes their interest may not be to leverage of their nations but for greediness and selfishness.
So many politician especially in Africa are only concern about their personal gain than improving the standard of living of their people. It's good to have personal interest in any political system but such interest should be in line to the interest of the masses otherwise it's wrong for a personal interest to be a disadvantage to the development and sustainability of the masses.
One of the reasons that usually fueled this sort of greediness in the African political space, is the manipulation of the electoral process by the political gladiators. They understand once they can do away with the will power the citizens have to vote and be voted for, then they become demi gods to the same people they are supposed to be serving. In a liberal society that still allows Democratic process to go on smoothly, you will notice that the personal interest of those in the position of leadership are not that glaring even if they have it, that is why Most people advocate for true constitutional democracy, so that the people's interest will come first, because democracy is all about the people.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Won $4 Million and Died… on: June 26, 2024, 08:02:26 AM
I didn't find this news here, which is now being actively published on social networks, but it can be discussed.
The news is that a man in Singapore won a four-million-dollar jackpot and suffered a heart attack after learning of the win.

More details: https://www.ibtimes.sg/singapore-casino-tragedy-viral-video-shows-mans-collapse-after-4-million-jackpot-75035

Sometimes joyful events end sadly. A person who learns the news experiences stress, which causes a strong heartbeat; and adrenaline levels to increase; and if the winner’s health is not very good, misfortune can happen, as happened with the player from Singapore.
Have you ever had a time when winning a large sum caused inconvenience and did not bring you the joy you expected?
I've had some moment that I have been excited after winning good amount of money from my bet, in the case of this Singapore man I think age is also a factor that might have affected him too, that too much excitement can as well lead to high blood pressure if not well manage, that amount of money was extremely out of his imagination, at least not in this life time in his mind.
I believe the family of the deceased fellow will have to step in to claim the money their brother or father have won.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 25, 2024, 10:26:50 PM
Today, France missed the opportunity to secure first place in the group by drawing 1-1 with Poland. During the group stages, France managed to score only two goals—one from a penalty and the other as an own goal by their opponent. Despite Poland having already been eliminated from the tournament, they put up a strong struggle in this match. Even though they fell behind 1-0 during the match, their performance was commendable.
I cannot really pin point exactly why France has this poor performance so far in this competition, they are one of the favorite to win the competition from my initial permutation, but the results so far has been very unfortunate, if not for the fact that Netherland lost 3-2 to Austria, France would have nearly gone out on group stage, though there are still some arguments that technically Netherlands haven't really gone out of the competition, that there is still hope for them, but Poland are out already.

I really would love to still watch Netherland in this competition because they've so far shown that they have the fire power and they've been very impressive with their playing pattern, unlike France with the caliber of players they came with in this competition but still struggling to win match.
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taxation theft? on: June 25, 2024, 07:46:27 PM
Morals talking time.

Surely a matter of topic that has concerned many philosophers and intellectuals. I imagine most of (genuine) Bitcoiners be like "back-to-the-landers", libertarians, with desire to be self-sufficient. However, objectively speaking, taxation is theft. It's taking someone's property without their consent, and it is compulsory. It very much fits the definition of theft, even though you can find it slightly altered in other sources, like the Cambridge dictionary ("the crime of illegally taking something that belongs to someone else")

(That's right dear reader, that was a clickbait!)

The question is rather: Is taxation justifiable theft? A necessary evil? Libertarians tend to argue that it's wrong regardless the intentions. Taking someone's property without their permission is unethical, no matter how good you want to do with it. Others, who support social contract theory, argue that it's necessary and should be seen as "voluntary obligation".

There is no right or wrong answer (un)fortunately. Feel free to speak out loud.

My stance on this is that both "groups" bring some compelling arguments on the table, in favor of their ideology. I don't know. I think there's a place where we draw the line. For example, nowadays, I think we've crossed that line (towards more government of course). I don't think we need that much government into the markets.

I also feel really stupid when I see politicians talking about taxing gains from cryptocurrencies, with phrases like "unhosted wallets", or by attacking privacy services. They talk as if privacy invasion is a requirement, or "obligation" as per the social contract theory. I think this really crosses the line.
Taxation has its own advantage theoretically and in practical terms, it is believe that some of the social structure that we enjoy in the system can mostly be sustained through the revenue generated from tax, we all need electricity, we all need good roads, we all need good transportation system within our country, this investment can be maintained from the revenue we regenerate from tax, but however the big question is if this money being collected in form of taxation being channeled into the right direction?.

But what I won't support is wanting to tax cryptocurrencies with draconian policies, when you know that it is a private assets that has no government affiliation or whatsoever.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is performing just fine currently on: June 25, 2024, 04:20:19 PM
Recently, I have seen often talking about how Bitcoin is not going up fast enough, I usually see this mostly on social media. I haven't really seen it on this forum but I'm bringing it here just in case there are people here who have similar views

Almost exactly a year ago, the Bitcoin price was $30,534 on the 27th of June 2023. This was a year ago and at the time, this was a pretty impressive price because Bitcoin just hit $30k. A year from that time bitcoin is at $61, 423 (at the time of writing), that's a 100% increase in price and a 100% profit if you invested at the time.
A few months ago, we were celebrating Bitcoin at $40k, so how come now that Bitcoin is at $61k we're unimpressed? How is $60k looking ordinary when the previous ATH before this year was $69k?

I understand that we all want Bitcoin prices to skyrocket (which it's actually doing), but that doesn't mean Bitcoin is performing poorly. A lot of people expected Bitcoin to get to $100k immediately after the halving, but by history, it's usually not so.

In conclusion, this post is for two sets of people;
Those who believe it's too late to invest in Bitcoin because you can clearly see how Bitcoin has grown in price in the past year.
Secondly, the post is mainly for those who believe Bitcoin is underperforming because it's not at all.
Human beings are insatiable with their needs, From your analysis and the realities on ground, Bitcoin have been doing well. most onlookers or investors are just agitated for the price to just skyrocket to $100k, forgetting that withing one year, we've had significant increase in the price of Bitcoin.

Those social media people should understand that the cryptocurrency market especially Bitcoin service's as an investment opportunity for a lot of people, so if there is a reduction in price after hitting a certain ATH, it gives investors an opportunity to accumulate at an affordable rate, which may be previously they couldn't because of the high price, so they should understand that the market is not always bullish.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand to Legalize Gambling To combat Illegal gambling or.... on: June 24, 2024, 09:31:45 PM
I read an article about Thailand's Prime Minister planning to legalize gambling in order to combat illegal gambling.  He also stated that the illegal gambling operation are earning trillions of baht but are not contributing to the nation.  Read more about the news here:
Thai PM: Legalise gambling to tackle existing illegal gambling

I believe the Thai PM realized that they are losing for not making gambling legal in their country.  I believe it is not to combat the illegal gambling but rather to take advantage of the gambling activities to get more taxes to fund the country's treasury.  It was said that if gambling is legalized the country might bring an amount ranging from TBH30B to TBH50B (US$0.8bn to US$1.3bn) in investments to the country aside from the annual taxes that can be earned from gambling industries.

I also think that it is a wise decision on the PM side since it is impossible to stop gambling, so why not take advantage of it for the country's development?  Your thought?

If the prime minister have realized that they've been doing themselves a big disservice by criminalizing gambling and have now realize their mistake, then it's a welcome development, at least as a government they now realize that they can make revenue from the activities of gambling in their country once is made legal. At this point now, you will see an in flocks of casinos and bet companies coming to invest in the country, because that's like a new market that will be opening for them, on the other hand, a lot of persons are keenly waiting for this kind of opportunity for them to explore their gambling ability and make money for themselves, so it's a win win situation for both the government and the citizens.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⚽ Sportsbet's EURO 2024 Last Man Standing - 0.1 BTC minimum reward ⚽⚽⭐ on: June 24, 2024, 09:13:29 PM
I have Croatia to not score against Italy. It’s HT now and 0-0, I am not watching the game but looking at the stats Italy have only had 38% possession which indicates Croatia are dominating the match with the ball at least.

Maybe I have made a bad decision here, this is not a great Italian team like in the past.

Edit - FFS & there it is 1-0.
Yes Croatia where initially dominating Italy up to a point they where leading that 1-0, but instead of the Croatian team to capitalize on that one goal and put more pressure on Italy and score more goals, Instead they relaxed and allowed the pressure to come on them during the die minute of the game, unfortunately for the Croatians the Referee added additional 8 minutes to extra time of play, and the Italian made sure they used the remaining minutes to their advantage, they eventually scored to make it 1-1. So Croatia and Albania are the least in Group B, Spain having 9 points and Italy having 4 points, so they both have qualified for the next stage of the competition.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 24, 2024, 04:29:59 PM
Maybe the position between first and second place will not be much different. Manchester City could indeed retain the championship title again next season. Or Arsenal will be the one who succeeds in winning the title next season. But for Liverpool and other teams that have just had new coaches, I think it will be quite difficult for them to enter the title competition with Arsenal and Manchester City. Arsenal will definitely be able to maintain the quality of their performance. because Arteta has proven to be able to keep Arsenal in second place for two seasons. And even this season and last season we saw Arsenal's development become much better. And it is not impossible that Arsenal next season will be much stronger than this season. So that fiercer competition with Manchester City will occur again.
Next seasons title race is one I really don't get to seeing Liverpool as a team that will be in that race, I believe it will be between Manchester city and Arsenal again as both teams are still in their good form and still appear ready to contend again for the title, for Manchester city they will be defending the title while Arsenal will be trying to win the till for the first time in the past five or more seasons after several trials. Arteta has been of a very great help to Arsenal and i still see in him that zeal and want to winning the league title this season, even with what ever circumstances that may come, I believe Arteta will still make sure to do all he can to win the title.

Other teams like Liverpool and Chelsea may have to contend for the third position on the table because the first and second most likely will be between Arsenal and Manchester city,  except there be an unexpected rapid improvement that will get any of the others getting the ability to compete at the level of contending for the league title just like it did happened in the bundlesliga last season and all the teams weren't expecting to see what happened until it eventually happened that Leverkusen won the league title, Chelsea and Liverpool shouldn't be underestimated els they may get the whole premier league shocked when they eventually utilize opportunities they have gotten.
I agree with you with some of your points, arsenal and Manchester are still in a good form, but that was for last season, every season comes with it's own attributes, as most clubs too are trying to restrategize how to come back and make a difference, as things cannot always remain the ways it was last season, as this is football the uncertainty too is high.

As for Chelsea and Liverpool that you said that they are to contend for the third position, which is laughable for me, you really need to be open minded with other teams. if Arteta was that strategic, he would have at least been able to win the league for the second time attempt, though I'm not writing him off but I'm giving room for other teams too.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 24, 2024, 12:06:20 PM
Germany managed to score a golal in extra time.
This was a vital point for them since also Spain will probably end 1st on its group, Germany positioning themself in 1st position have managed to avoid the game against Spain in the 1st elimination stage.

They will now probably face Italy or Croatia instead.
I'm so surprise to see Germany struggling to get a draw against Switzerland in a match that many people believed would be an easy win for the host nation. Well, they might have felt that since they already qualified, there was no point fighting too hard but assuming the lost the match, Switzerland would have topped the group. This draw also shows that surprises are not excluded from this competition because many people would have placed a direct win bet on Germany. As for me, I usually avoid games where the favorite side do not have any reason to be too competitive unless I have monitored them so well to see that their care more about records than the trophy.
I've repeatedly said that, is not looking like there is any underdog in this Europe 2024 tournament, the kind of string this other supposed underdogs countries are pulling, is so surprising that your predictions for games you've booked in your bet slip, you will have to revisit them and make amends for  the one's you can still be able to as most predictions are not going as planned. Germany nearly lost that match, if not for that late minute goal, literally Germany where even begging for draw, in a game people had already thought it was a walk over for them, they should just thanks their star's that they've been able to qualify to the next Round of the competition, there is still more lifeline to prepare harder for tougher opponents.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 22, 2024, 02:29:45 PM
In today's match Türkiye vs Portugal two teams will face each other and these two teams are very strong in the group stage. The two teams are in first and second position in Group F and it is difficult to say which team will win today's match. But we can relatively estimate that this match is Portugal compared to strong Turkey so if you bet for Portugal as the favorite team it will definitely be possible to win. According to today's Mays budget odds we can see Portugal under the win as Portugal is more likely to win.

Türkiye beat Georgia 3-1 in the first match. Arda Güler was the man of the match. He scored a great goal. But the match could have ended with a different score. Georgia had very important scoring positions. On the other hand, Portugal finished the first half of the match defeated against Czechia. But they scored 2 goals in the second half and won the match. Portugal are the favorites in this match. But it will not be an easy match even for Portugal. Türkiye have very young and dynamic players like Arda Güler and Kerem Aktürkoğlu. One of them can change the score at any moment today.
No game in this tournament is looking like an easy match for anybody not even Portugal, I saw how they struggled against Czech before they won, Turkey won Georgia, so turkey have secured three points, now Georgia Vs Czech are playing 1- 1 with over 30 minutes of play still remaining  which means if the game end like this both Georgia and Czech are likely going to exit together, because they will he sharing points per piece leaving both of them at the bottom of the group. Turkey on the other hand might want to pull  a stunt against Portugal, because in every one's lips, they would be writing them off, but those guys are fierce with their attack from what I've seen.
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 22, 2024, 10:30:14 AM
Well, this is not me trying to sound pessimistic but what if Rollbit is the one that is secretly paying other casino platforms to list the RLB token? Do you think the token will still gain as much attention in that future if Rollbit stops paying for the listings?
If listings are free, it's good but if it is paid listing, it's not actually bad.

There is no free lunch in most cases and if listings even with fees, expensive or cheap, can bring positive effects in long term, it is worthy to pay.

Rollbit offers the community some tournaments on their platform with lucrative award pools. Details are in this post on X

I agree with you, those casinos might have at least seen some level of significance in the Rollbit project before listing the token on their platform wether it was payed for it or not.

The amount for this tournament Rollbit is sponsoring is heavily mouth watering. well, I'm a keen football analyst and follower, since the tournament is about the Europe 2024 and Copa America, I will definitely  roll out my slips.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What ruined your chances of investing in Bitcoin earlier? on: June 22, 2024, 08:47:12 AM
I had an opportunity to invest early in Bitcoin but ignorance and lack of funds ruined my chances. I discovered Bitcoin in the early stages but ignorance never allowed me pay attention to it back then, to be honest I felt it was a new scam to steal people's money therefore I didn't even care to learn about it when i first had the opportunity to, but along the line I picked Interest in it when Bitcoin attained a height above $10k in 2017 but I was very unwilling to invest the pocket money I earned from my dad since I didn't have any job back then and solely depended on my parents for financial support.

Nevertheless, my doubt about Bitcoin got cleared when Bitcoin went beyond $17k and got to about $25k plus towards the ending of November in 2020, I had no choice but to invest with the little money I got from linear jobs I was earning from by then, and it really helped me that December when it crossed $28k and I was able to get food items and gifts for my parents with some of the profits I got from it. If only I had invested earlier or had been able to convince my parents to try invest since they were financially capable of doing so but I was so ignorant and had doubts over the future of BItcoin.

However I'm so grateful for joining this great forum that's helped to enhance my knowledge concerning Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies at large to a certain level and currently I don't regret anymore since I've realised that it's not too late to invest more and hold for the future cause I've seen and now believe that  the chances of Bitcoin attaining more heights is still very possible.
In the early days of Bitcoin most of us in the sup Sahara African region didn't get the information on time, so to an extent our geographical location was a bit of hindrance for some of us. From the 2017 period you quoted that Bitcoin was above $10k, you could only have a microscopic few that could be able to afford to get Bitcoin at that time given the uncertainty that is always attached to a new commodity in this part of the world. But just like you said, that in 2020 you had to invest the amount you had with you haven seen the success stories and the growth of Bitcoin over time, that's exactly the same way some person's in this part of the world where I come from starting investing little by little, especially based on the knowledge on ground and what we've come to understand over time.

But at this time there is to much crap being created and to many collections of just some dumb shit etc
Just too much of it especially for NFTs
I've been thinking about what could be next highly  priced items
Maybe an Art of  the first commercial  transaction  that made btc well known till today.... The Pizza BTC art could  be made in a dynamic way
In the future more painting and more artwork from Bitcoin will certainly come up and people will spend reasonable amount of money in just having it for themselves. The other day, kylian Mbappé spent a whooping sum of £520,000 for a painting of king pele of Brazil. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2024/kylian-mbappe-spends-e520000-on-a-painting-of-pele/
As time goes on, people will always spend good amount of money for something they have passion for or can identify their passion with. You and I can actually put up a nice painting of Bitcoin logo that can be eye capturing with all the aesthetics, and we decide to auction it online for people to bid for it, don't be surprised we will see somebody that will be ready to spend a fortune just to get that piece of artwork in his house.
It’s obvious people get attracted to what they love and want but I don’t see myself spending a huge amount buying what’s not valuable or what will not yield profit within a long period of time. Let’s just say wealthy people will buy without looking at the price tag or the value but we should not expect everyone to do same like buying a low value stuff with a huge amount of money.
Some people buy things without the aim of making profit from them; they just want to help those things gain adoption and also have value or gain more value. For instance, the person who bought the "buy bitcoin sign" for 1 million dollars has helped bitcoin gain adoption. For instance, when you see the news that someone bought a "buy bitcoin sign" for 1 million dollars, you will want to know the reason why someone used such a large amount of money to buy the "buy bitcoin sign." In the process of your research, you find out the problems bitcoin will solve in the world, and you will not want to be left out. Before you know it, you will start making plans to accumulate bitcoin. Some people also buy things that will not give them profit or have no value just to appreciate the creators of those things.

Yea, but I am sure that before people buy things they have visualize the future of the particular stuff they are purchasing to ascertain the possible value of such item, what I believe is that rich individuals always have a means of adding value to things, remember the Bitcoin whales are not the only people investing in Bitcoin but just because there presence is felt based on the quantity of Bitcoin the have in their possession, in the world today many rich people know that Bitcoin has dominated the digital market and I believe the purchase of the paper sign was for diversification, hence we know that speculation and some strong moves are the major factors that triggers investment may that's the reason for this kind of purchase, in conclusion, lets not be bothered about the money used to purchase this sign, our major concern should be the motive behind it.
Sometimes most rich men do things or buy expensive asset to oppress the poor ones, most of the them buy for the future for instance a land bought $1000 can amount to $10000 in time coming, sometimes time they buy things at high cost for fun. The way a rich man will invest in Bitcoin is not same way a poor man will invest a rich man can decide to invest aggressively, accumulating enough Bitcoin not minding the present price even if it very high  because they have other source of income that will help them not to sell out there Bitcoin hodling until it got to a centre price they will want it to get to in order to make enough profit from there Bitcoin investment.

I don't think there is any form of oppression against anyone when a rich man acquires what he or she want with a high amount of money without considering the value of such commodity, what we should know is this, rich people knows how to manipulate the market, they also know how to add value to potential assets, they Believe that if a less valuable commodity is been purchased with a huge amount of money, people will want to know why such move was taken by the individual involved and as so doing attention will be dragged to such asset, it is as simple as that, in the aspect of Bitcoin a rich or wealthy investor believe that the higher you go, the higher your potential profit in the long run, don't also forget that whales are responsible for consistent influx of investor in Bitcoin, the amount of Bitcoin they are hodling m gives people the hope and the courage to believe that Bitcoin is a reliable and trusted asset.
Yes I agree with your line of thoughts, those potential heavy investors are the ones that give the small investment the moral to have believe on What they are investing their money in. Rich persons in the society are the ones that add values to assets, there is no doubt about that, the reason why most people question the actions of the rich people is because they feel that the rich people are overspending money or don't take time to negotiate price or the value of the asset they want to acquire, and most times people forget that the person that wants to sell out his assets or give it out want's to make profits, so he will ordinary want to sell it to the highest bidder.

Though both are highly useful, I believe that education is more important than skill acquisition. What do you think about this in today's world, and which would you let your brother, sister, or kids to pursue?
Education itself is a skill, it depends what part of the educational skills you wish to learn so as to make it your career. Education is the broad form that accommodates every sector in life, both the formal and informal sector are all encompass in education. So you're ability to learn a particular skill, makes that skill the part of education you've learnt, however education is not only about reading and writing, it serves as an avenue for you be understand others skills you would want to learn easily.

So for me, I would prefer for any of my relative to have both formal education and informal skillful education that they might want to use later in the future or pursue as a career.

But if you'd like a digital copy of one of his popular books, you can get it from here.

This is not an illegal copy because Saifedean reposted a tweet with the link on his Twitter profile (https://x.com/CarlBMenger/status/1803684730857996385), thereby giving his permission.

You can download your copies by using the Mirror links on the right.
Some of the books are in .pdf, others are in .epub format.

For the epub files, you will need to use an e-book software like the open-source Calibre, Adobe Digital Editions, or anything else you prefer.

If you like these books, support the author by buying physical copies. I own 2 of his 3 famous books, and I am planning to get the third one in the future.
This is excellent reading material for anyone interested in Bitcoin, especially newbies and it's free.

*Note: Don't post alternative and illegal download links to other sources where you can download these books. That's not the purpose of this thread. I will delete such posts.
I would definitely want to follow the author on X too, books like this will really help to broaden your knowledge of understanding as long as Bitcoin is concerned, because Bitcoin is knowledge based, so when an author writer's a book to break down the concept of Bitcoin for public consumption for almost free of charge, then he needs to be applauded. I will try and see how to get a PDF copy of it online, thanks for the update Op.
