41  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my post deleted? on: March 15, 2024, 01:53:24 AM
So I created a post which mentioned a bot handled by this user in Telegram which allows for users to stay up to date on newly listed Raydium tokens and it was deleted? I do not see the reason why but is bitcointalk becoming censored now? Is this post going to be deleted as well?

Maybe your post is considered spam or reported spam by other members so the moderator chooses to delete your post. Make your post have more value, have arguments, and have semantic value so that your post is not deleted even if you misplace the post, usually the moderator will not delete it but just move it. AFAIK

Bitcointalk is not a darksite so even though it upholds the value of freedom, there are limits, at least Bitcointalk really doesn't like plagiarism and spam.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 15, 2024, 01:45:39 AM
legality of online crypto-gambling in countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia, where traditional gambling is illegal, is a complex issue.
Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws?

If there is no law that regulates it, then gambling cannot be said to be legal or not and also cannot be prosecuted legally if there is a problem with online gambling because there are no legal regulations. This applies to countries that use positive legal principles

My country prohibits all forms of gambling activities but many gambling platforms allow gamblers from my country, I don't know why this happens but it seems like my country doesn't have a cross-border agreement regarding the legality of gambling

How about getting serious and not trying to steal players' time?[/b][/color]

I think the wagering requirements are only given for the bonus, if you make a deposit then you don't need 200x wagering requirements.

It looks like you have a problem with blackjack.fun. I think what you did was too childish and your anger was very visible. I don't know what your problem is, but it might be a good idea for you to resolve your issue with them without disrupting their business. I think you also won't like it if your business is disturbed by other people.

Wrong my friend! Blackjack.fun behaved very unprofessionally and tried to cheat and still try to cheat their players.
I am for fairness and justice whether you like it or not.

You should read all the threads I posted the links here in thread not long ago. I am not sure if you are doing it because you are taking their side without knowing the full context.

Blackjack.fun until now has not answered very important questions and not only asked by me. you have to ask yourself why haven't they answered these questions? if they have nothing to hide they would answer these legit questions long ago. But they didn't.

Why are they going private with their free roll tourneys? they started those to get feedback so they can offer a perfect working tourney. I gave them feedback and an exploit and what did they do, even I did not ask for a withdrawal or bounty?
Yes, they banned me and allowed the original user of the exploit to continue playing, does that make sense to you?
It only makes sense if the player who knows the exploit and is using it is a friend of the owner, or if the owner is playing incognito.

Trust me, time will tell and I have patience until justice is done.

Cheers

Yes, I don't know your problem with them, maybe I will try to read your previous post, but I don't have the ability to evaluate a casino and don't know how to audit the code behind the casino. I just remember blackjack.fun once made a topic on the reputation board about what you were doing..

Hopefully everything can be resolved well because it is not good to interfere in other people's business and if they are suspicious maybe you need to have accurate arguments and data so that your accusations are believed by other members.

Yes, hopefully it will soon be known which of you is at fault. I've never visited their site, but I'm curious and will try visiting the blackjack.fun site

45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 14, 2024, 08:07:03 PM

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Why do you add color to your posts? not at all fun to read

I think there is no need to publish their bankroll to the public. Do you know of any casinos that publish their bankroll? If yes, what is the percentage and how does it impact the trustworthiness of their casino? To be honest, I don't know if any casinos publish their bankrolls because that would be dangerous and possibly a target for hackers.

Additionally, you also don't seem to have the capacity to force casinos to publish or tell you how much bankroll they have, unless you have some authority in the area, such as a casino auditor, gaming provider or licensing provider.

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the elderly homeless. on: March 13, 2024, 03:02:29 AM
I think that title only applies to you. Most elderly people don't understand about bitcoin. You are a different elderly person, you are cool because you have your own independence by living a nomadic life. You are not like other homeless people who have nothing but you have enough assets and being homeless is your choice and not circumstances that force you.

Regarding the trades you make, what will you do if Bitcoin continues to rise like the current situation? Do you always take 5%-10% profit when trading Bitcoin? because you are waiting for the price to drops by 5% or 10%
50  Other / Meta / Re: At what point does my account change from newbie status? on: March 13, 2024, 01:43:38 AM
Im unable to message alot of people due to the forum applying a default rule to every bodies account that permits PM from newbies.
At what point does my account status change?

I think you're a little closer to Jr. member because your merit is sufficient. Many users ban PMs from newbies to avoid spam. For more clarity about activities, you can see the quote below

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this: (Edit: Obsolete, do not use)
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480
Legendaryoccurs randomly between 775 and 1030 activity

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

For more details about the activity system and merit system, you can see the following thread FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit
51  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there a place for medical discuss? on: March 12, 2024, 11:55:29 PM
This is a bitcoin and crypto forum so most of the discussion is about bitcoin and services related to bitcoin or crypto. If you want to discuss medicine or health, maybe you need to join a forum that discusses this matter. However, if you want to discuss here, you can make a post on the off topic board

However, if you want to get quality discussions from members who have deep knowledge of the world of medicine and health then maybe Bitcointalk is not the right forum for you.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 12, 2024, 11:42:24 PM

What do you think?

Most people think about putting some money in savings for an emergency fund and don't have enough other funds to invest so they don't do it. They also think that investing requires a lot of money and they don't have it. Apart from that, their knowledge about investment is also limited, maybe they are more familiar with property and land investments which require a lot of money and don't know about investments that can be paid in installments such as bitcoin or shares.

But I think the current generation is different and many people are starting to become aware of investment. In my opinion, there is no need to force older people to invest when they don't have any knowledge about it, but the current generation will be different because most already know about investing.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A mistake you would surely regret on: March 11, 2024, 10:43:53 AM
Lastly invest what you can afford to lose, or rather stake what you can afford to lose cause I know no matter the advice many read they woudl still invest in shit coins so stake what you can afford to lose.

Nobody likes losses, so to avoid this, choose bitcoin because it is the safest coin and history has proven that even though the price of bitcoin can fall freely, it will always touch a new ATH. Maybe bitcoin cannot rise to 100x in the near future but bitcoin is proven to store value to avoid inflation and also has a high level of profitability.

So instead of being confused about which coin to choose, choose bitcoin. It's easy and doesn't require much thought

55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When will you finally buy on: March 10, 2024, 11:09:12 PM
To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

I think bitcoin will not be affected in any way if Jeff buys bitcoin or not, so there is nothing to worry about with Jeff or other people who don't want to buy bitcoin.

Like anything in this world, there are definitely those who agree and those who disagree, including bitcoin. So there is no need to force someone to buy bitcoin because if it turns out the investment fails then we don't want to be the one to blame. Bitcoin is an investment and maybe many people have different views on bitcoin, just leave the person who doesn't like bitcoin and wait a few years until he finds out what the price of bitcoin is at that time and he will regret it.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 10, 2024, 08:52:16 PM
This is a good idea and a welcome development. Gamblers can now be able to enteract with each other while gambling online with their social ID connected. However, I think it would be very risky because it would lead to gambling addiction as losing games would be the last resort of gamblers and would want to continue gambling till they win which the possibility is minuit.

Not only that, if a gambler wins big and his or her identity being revealed as it is connected to the social networks, the gambler might be at risk so therefore, gamblers should be given the option to choose if they want their social media 🆔 revealed or not so as not to put them in danger as the case may be.

I think it's a bad idea if we connect our gambling accounts to social media, because it will invade our privacy. Everyone will know when we win or lose, it looks very bad to me. Just doing KYC is annoying, especially when it comes to social media, it will make us naked and anyone can see it

I think this idea is too utopian because technically it doesn't mention how to increase sociality in gambling, how to target the right gambling users, and what breakthroughs he will make in detail.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 10, 2024, 07:45:26 PM
I agree with you.
The live support is really something bc should put some work and resources in since it is really too slow and not really on point. As I have mentioned before it is not industry standard to wait 15-20min for a reply and then another 10-15 for every message that comes next.
At other sites I use the experience is much different, waiting like 2min max for a first response mostly. And once the conversation has started the next messages always come fast.
But hey, nobody is perfect. There is always room for improvement
BC.Game are in this industry for long to know that the cryptocurrency market and crypto gambling industry is highly competitive. They have many competitors in this industry so by going like an outlier in support procedure, longer waiting time than competitors, they self-create disadvantage for themselves.

Maybe because bc.game has so many users that live support is very busy, but it is also true that bc.game is willing to add employees in the live support section. But I'm also impressed with bc.game because it has live support for my local language (Indonesia) and not many casinos have that.

Now there is a new feature that bc.game has where when I deposit using fiat I can exchange it and withdraw it in USDT. I rarely play on bc.game and it seems like they didn't have this feature before, I don't know if this is new or old but I really like that feature.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We need more multiplayer casino games! on: March 10, 2024, 03:14:24 PM
I don't fully understand what you mean, but it seems like your idea is difficult to implement because you also allow for betting differences. If played together then the bets must be the same and the balance must also be the same, otherwise the one who runs out of balance automatically loses.

It might be more logical if players join together to beat one slot machine, the balance collected will be played on that slot machine and if it wins it will be distributed to all the gamblers who joined. I once watched a youtube channel that did this, they played at land based casinos
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 10, 2024, 10:02:46 AM
This was discussed in the Next.io conference held in New York. They said that online gambling will be more targeted and at the same time it become more of a social activity. Right now we see that an online gambler is gambling in solo with no social connections but this could change in future.

The online gambling companies have to reform themselves as this will be a new demand from the young generation who are coming to online gambling and they need socialization also while gambling (like we used to have in physical gambling).

Are gamblers currently not targeted? then who is the target? I think someone who decides to gamble then he is part of the right target. If they want to target a certain segmentation, there will be KYC or spying to find out the activities of gamblers

Currently there is also a chatroom available which allows gamblers to interact with other gamblers, I think that is enough, or do they have another breakthrough?
60  Economy / Reputation / Re: o_e_l_e_o Such a life you will build/Laugh at death You will cry. on: March 10, 2024, 06:57:21 AM
I think there is enough time to mourn the sad news posted by o_e_l_e_o. This is a condition that can happen to anyone and even though we know that one day we will definitely separate, often we are not ready to separate. We can't do anything and can't be sad forever, so as long as we are still given health then continue living and keep learning

Regarding the Re Farewell thread, the discussion is a little different. There was a bit of a dispute between o_e_l_e_o and someone over his statement to wassabi wallet. I don't understand the problem so I can't comment much.
