41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - Fair Launch - Bittrex/Cryptsy - 7/27 KeyOS Soon on: July 29, 2014, 07:01:49 PM
meh....I don't care. I just care about ongoing work and development. Prom can curse up a storm, won't dissuade me one way or the other from investing. At least he has passion and ongoing involvement. Personally, I like the strong ra-ra-ra, however, if the community as a majority is against it, then I think it should be toned down, though my personal belief is of allowing it to blossom like a beautiful flower.

I agree with this. I like the passion. I don't think it's been unprofessional up to this point on social media venues. Key looking good today as well. Good things happening!

PR channels have been good about the representation so far IMO, but I agree about the "toning it down" on the OP a bit. Having forum members that are more "in your face" is one thing, but I think having confident non-defensive statements from the devs and pr groups is the best way to inspire trust in the team from people with real money. The "We got this shit" attitude without saying it outright.

I just bought my first KEY, i have been reading something interesting about KEY. And now it is all based on deliver results to the investors, i believe that KEY can hit 0.00200000sats. So that will give me a 4x return. Only bought for .36BTC, but still...

welcome aboard.  Great entrance point too, 50k is a steal

Are you sure that you can give impartial review, because I'm not really seeing it so far?

No, I cannot give you impartial review. How did you come to this conclusion?

Being impartial and objective would require you discussing both sides of an argument fully, which you clearly haven't
Biased is your standpoint, "prove me wrong or my words must be gospel"

You cannot expect objectivity from some random internet person. You never know what kind of (nefarious?) motives he has.

And I don't expect anyone to take anything I say for granted. People can always check things for themselves if they want. The only question is if they want to invest enough time and mental energy into this.

"Prove me wrong or my words must be gospel" does not hold in the context of computer security. The assumption in computer security is that systems are not secure unless proven otherwise. If somebody cannot rigorously prove that his security method (anonymity method) is really secure (anonymous), then you MUST assume that it is not secure (anonymous).

"Being secure" means "resistant to all known (or feasible) attacks".

I think the basic point trying to be put across to you is "give it some time". you want answers now while things are being done to provide those answers. Your motivation is suspect simply because you are constantly asking the same question and only seemingly in accordance with market price. asking questions is nothing that should be considered nefarious, but it is on record that you have asked this question... several times. Maybe wait for an answer, and if you don't receive one after the next statement from the dev, then ask it again. But repeating the same thing ad nauseam is, and should be considered, trolling. You've asked it, now kindly wait.

p.s. "I don't expect anyone to take anything I say for granted", I don't think this phrase means what you think it means.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITTREX and elitecoindev should be responsible for this ELITECOIN on: July 26, 2014, 03:21:17 AM
Bittrex is crying saying if they looked over all the codes before adding coins nothing would get listed.  I call bullshit.  That's a cop out.   Stop being so fucking greedy and hire some people you fucks.

BTW I lost nothing on elite.  But I lost a lot of money today.  And so did everyone else.  When people lose confidence in exchanges they don't put up buy orders.  In turn miners can't sell coins.  We all lose.  Bittrex you need to get your shit together now or your going out of business.  There are a few good exchanges that this does happen to because they do their homework and so should you.

The very reason I started using trex was for their quick coin ads and high volume. Not once have I ever blamed anyone but myself for playing "hot and loose" on a coin. Projection at its finest

This sub-forum should be renamed "scam central".

or "It's anyone's fault but my own"

or  "bittrex made me buy the coin"

+1

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCOIN] ARCOIN IS GOING TO WALL STREET! X13 POW/POS - TOR IMPLEMENTED on: July 25, 2014, 10:51:16 PM
I think it might possibly be a good idea to keep that dude's posts on here, he doesn't have a case, I've read his "proof" and it is easily dismissible by the same "evidence" he is posting. That is, if the community doesn't care. I mean it's a chance for people to see what kind of crap you guys have gone through.  You've probably had to deal with it for a long time and I don't blame you guys for just getting rid of it, but what he has to say is a complete joke to begin with, and just by looking at the dude's post history it's obviously just a FUD acct. Might be a chance to educate the uninitiated on how some douches play the game. Grin

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL][APEX] What Feature Should we Adapt Next? on: July 25, 2014, 04:40:17 PM
dogecoin is to maintain an emotional connection emotional and social currency, it is easy to spread currency. apexcoin , and Turkey as a symbol, giving it culture, it will be the same as dogecoin transmitted to people.

WTf?

I read that like 50 times and I'm not 100% sure I know what is even trying to be communicated there. Make apex coin the national coin of Turkey is what I read.... unless they mean the bird, either way I'm confused.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PseudoCoin][PSEUD][Working Anon Currency][2.2 mil coins][ANN] on: July 24, 2014, 08:16:07 PM
way too many idiots putting big sell walls leaving pseud with no room for growth and people second guessing when they see that

no point in releasing any news until we switch hands with smarter investors

that doesn't really make any sense, more news = more exposure = more traders = stronger hands = better market reflection, let them keep their sell walls up for as long as they can hang on to them. there needs to be an influx of new money first, it doesn't generally just "happen".

you must be new to trading if you think the markets are supposed to make sense

with only around 2mill coins there should not be as much sells under 5k sats it deters others off

aaaand the ad hominem rears its head, but anyway... The only people that are worried about sell walls are weak hands, who are just going to dump once they get any kind of increase anyway and perpetuate a stunted growth. strong hands will buy when the time is right, I am not worried.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]X11 IPcoin No Having! 7Day POW/POS Stake interest: 7.77%/year on: July 24, 2014, 03:14:01 PM

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PES] Pesa - Anonymous Coin - No Premine - Dynamic Interest - PoStr on: July 24, 2014, 01:15:02 PM
this coin is going up...
why to buy it ? what is special/innovative about it ?
i see in the first pages that the launch was not so good, people complain about missing source code URL, and about windows wallet not working

LOL, this was about as clean of a launch as you can get.  No IPO, no premine/instamine, pools were up and running, etc.  Ok, the website isn't ready yet, but that's no big deal.  My wallet works fine.  Also, the coin hasn't gone up yet.  The market cap is still ridiculously low.

What's innovative about it?  Anonymous smart contracts are just little bit innovative, eh.  A dev team that can be publicly identified is also kind of a big deal.

You mean promises (like every other coin) and a dev that remains anonymous. Of course your wallet works fine - it came from GuerrillaCoin.

I like how you play, not too negative when price is low, but once it starts to move anywhere you just start dragging your feet, weird how that works. sheer coincidence, I'm sure.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - Fair Launch - Bittrex/Cryptsy - 7/23 ANON RELEASE on: July 24, 2014, 04:47:57 AM
So let me get this straight. You copied XCs centralised non trustless mixer from Rev 1 and then you tell everyone you have better anon than XC, even though XC now is on Rev 2 which is a decentralised trustless mixer?

I hope you understand the flaws with Rev 1, otherwise someones gonna exploit your client and steal everyone's coins
missed the dip?
