41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 05, 2020, 07:28:13 PM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding
I don't think it makes sense to hold the coin too long.Personally, I keep usdt in my wallet and keep track of the coins that I like.As soon as any movement or positive news begins, I buy it.I'm just tired of constantly losing my funds with long-term hodl.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 05, 2020, 07:11:42 PM
The advent of Bitcoin's blockchain technology has opened up a world of possibilities that were never imagined. People can finally achieve financial freedom by being their own bank anytime, anywhere. In 2017, there was the ICO boom where crypto land was filled with hype with many companies launching their own business ventures. Everything has been about smart contracts, on-chain privacy, and Blockchain-based gaming. But ever since prices started to decline back in 2018, there has been a lost of interest into crypto and Blockchain tech from people in the mainstream world.

It's now 2020, where many exciting events are yet to come. Bitcoin will experience another reduction in its block reward (halving), while Ethereum becomes closer to adopting PoS into its blockchain network. The space is definitely maturing, but the level of demand is still a lot less than it was back in 2017.

Nonetheless, I'm curious to know what's the next big thing in crypto? Huh
What makes you think that demand is falling?Yes investment has become less but the industry on the contrary attracts more and more people from all over the world.Be sure to read this article and put bad thoughts out of your head:https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/01/blockchain-predictions-2020/
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: January 05, 2020, 06:47:50 PM
in my country I already received bitcoin payments but as far as I know there is still one province and the bitcoin office ethereum has also branched out to this capital city proving cryptocurrency payments are applied
Haven't experienced paying yet thru ETH unless its a personal transfer. In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.
Specifically in my case, I sometimes use Ethereum for sports betting.Recently, such services are widely implemented method of payment with cryptocurrency.I am sure that as demand increases, cryptocurrencies will be used for payment in many services. But so far, in fact, there are few such services.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 04, 2020, 09:23:26 PM
I completely agree with this. Imagine the ease of paying for a gas station with a single QR scan without paper money.
But the problem is how to promote it. In my country, every gas station can pay with e-money. And what I saw was that it was still lacking in public interest. Most of us still pay by fiat.
That's just what I wanted to write about. In my country, most people also pay for gas stations using debit e-cards.On the other hand, in view of the fact that gas and any natural resources are tied to the wealth of a particular country, I do not think that ,,universal,, blockchain will be able to please anyone.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COCOS WILL BE RICH? on: January 04, 2020, 09:12:18 PM
I honestly did not know about this project, but that’s not even the point. There are actually a lot of such projects. I mean promising projects whose tokens can cost more.Personally, my eyes just run wild from what I would like to buy, but alas, investment opportunities are not great. But thanks for the recommendation. Now I will study your proposed project in more detail.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEST DIVIDEND CRYPTO's to invest in... on: January 04, 2020, 09:00:43 PM

Hi,

I wanted to start a thread on dividend producing crypto's. Please list yours and don't worry about being labeled "shilling" because we want to do our own research.
The more the better and collectively we can determine the good ones from the bad ones. Even shit coins can make all of us money.

Thank you.
Your idea is not right from the start; shitty coins can never enrich their owners. The time for shitty coins is over. And also the time of quick enrichment passed.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: January 04, 2020, 08:57:49 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and AWC could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.
As I understand it, it’s about which coin is better to buy and hold for a long time?In this case, I would recommend that you choose either more assets for investment or simply change the scope of activity for further earnings.Just not always hodl can bring profit.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain courses? on: December 29, 2019, 07:13:32 PM
I myself would love to take blockchain courses, but I have never seen anything worthwhile. But even if something appears, it’s not a fact that I may like it.The technology is interesting to everyone, but there is a lot of complicated and tedious work behind it. This is not suitable for everyone.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: December 25, 2019, 06:22:52 PM
New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.

1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them.  Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?

It would be cool of course. But the fact is that not all investors in General even guess about such a forum as ours.Recently I met a man and it turns out that he helps people to invest in cryptocurrencies. And I was surprised that there are actually a lot of investors but almost no one knows about the forum. So although would those projects which make ANN on this forum will be subject to hard verification with hand moderators forum the scammers became would much less and investors did would contributions only with the help forum.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 25, 2019, 05:50:58 PM
summer will pass and 2020 will come soon.
while the market is still below and cryptoqurrency prices are cheap, then how do you prepare for the coming year?

I personally have added some bitcoin and altcoin.
I believe if half of the bitcoin is reduced, there is still hope for the crypto market, especially for the price of altcoin.
How about you?
Alas but I do not have so much money to buy everything I want. For myself, I decided to diversify its portfolio and transferred their funds 3 Altcoins .I hope not in vain.In fact, I have big plans for 20
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: December 25, 2019, 05:47:26 PM
As information from CZ: 1.2 billion dollars BNB is transferred in 1 second, which takes less than 2 cents

On June 26, about $ 1.2 billion Binance Coin (BNB) was transferred in 1.1 seconds, for a fee of only $ 0.015 on Binance Chain, disclosures of this data were published on WhaleAlert , a platform that tracks important transactions. The exact amount of BNB transferred is 32,888,888. As a Twitter user pointed out, 8 is a number unlike anyone in Chinese arithmetic, quoting Wikipedia: "Number 8 is considered a good number that even some 8s are considered is very lucky ".

With such successes do you think BNB will become the All coin king?
The king of all coins is unlikely to become, but the liquidity of this coin will really only increase.Well, about the little commissions, if you know, a lot of coins can boast of that.

Well, people make mistakes.I still believe in some projects and invest their free money in them.I don't know what they will turn into but I have very high hopes for them.It is difficult to analyze, but it is still better to spend 1 week on the analysis than spend only 1 hour and then regret it.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Coins that will start Staking features in 2020 on: December 25, 2019, 11:06:08 AM

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Worth of Projects IEO's listing in Exchanges? on: December 25, 2019, 11:03:38 AM
I Would like to ask about some Exchange where some project's IEO are running, How Much worth of those Project that are Listed for IEO in these Exchange.(Latokens,Exmarkets,P2P2B2B,Sistemkoin,ProBit)
I would not participate in these exchanges:Latokens and P2P2B2B.In my memory, they have conducted at least 5 IEO really fraudulent projects.I have absolutely no confidence in them.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 25, 2019, 11:01:30 AM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money
Why do you think transferring cryptocurrencies to professional traders is a stupid idea? Let's say I invested in a trading bot and it still makes a profit for me.Professional traders are engaged only in its adjustment.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Authorities Confiscating miners on: December 25, 2019, 10:58:48 AM
I do not understand why it is illegal to do this when the activity can be carried out legally. This confiscation of course will not appear in any way on the price of bitcoin, but will make all illegal immigrants be more careful.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 16, 2019, 02:25:12 PM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?

So far the only thing that I could make money in crypto is bounty campaign. Well doing some bit of trading but its not easy as others what explain that there is money in trading. Its hard to deal with market full of volality. I do also some telegram management but its quite hard to caught up with schedule especially when youre not full time in crypto.
Is it possible to earn something for managing a group of telegrams?I just considered the possibility of such earnings, but after analyzing I realized that it is very difficult and poorly paid.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Most Influential People In Crypto on: December 16, 2019, 02:14:24 PM

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country on: December 08, 2019, 07:50:58 PM
Hey, I sell some stuff online and I am looking for a way to keep my money for about 2-3 years. In my country we have to pay 19% from any income to taxes, so I was thinking fuck them. First I thought about PayPal, but I'm afraid they will freeze my account like they used to do randomly. then I thought about Bitcoin, but it's very unstable and I don't want to gamble on the money.

So I have read and found out about the stable coins, Im newbie but its looks like they might be the solution for me.
1. Tether is the most famous but doesn't have the proof of funds, so one day it can be a problem.

What makes you think the USDT has no money?I think they have already confirmed that their coin is tied to $ US.It seems to me a better way to save funds than in USDT you currently do not have.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: December 08, 2019, 07:46:43 PM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

Crypto and bitcoins is all over the news, all over the sites and articles. I think the crypto world needs legal information in the government that will make the investor sure about what really crypto is. When some country ban bitcoin it has huge effect so if some of country make bitcoin legal. The educational program and articles will be effective
you are right when you say that new investors need some kind of positive news from the government. Now everyone is afraid to buy cryptocurrency due to a large number of scammers in this market. this is a very big problem and difficult to solve. When we will see positive news from the government - we will see a sharp increase in prices.
If you hope that the government will protect investors from fraudulent projects, Then you are deeply mistaken. No government in the world will be able to give guarantees in the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, I think that cryptocurrencies clearly do not need a tough settlement from the government.
