41  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: October 05, 2019, 03:11:40 PM
It will not affect in any way positive or negative. It will be not really crypto but rather digital Yuan
One of the main cryptocurrency condition is decentralization .Crypto has not be issued and owned whatever way.Even ico tokens are not real crypto
It is good move from China fastest and cheapest transaction will benefit his trading
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculating with Tom Lee on: October 05, 2019, 12:44:37 PM
Our favorite permabull might be admitting defeat. Tom Lee was interviewed and it appears that he already has silently surrendered and ready to remove himself from his own bullishness on bitcoin.

I reckon this might be because his speculations about institutional investors to buy bitcoin by this time of the year did not come to fruition.

In this week's episode of The Scoop, Tom Lee, Managing Partner and Head of Research at Fundstrat Global Advisor, tells The Block about the barriers preventing institutions from investing in bitcoin.
"There's a mechanical issue for crypto in terms of infrastructure that’s needed but there’s probably also a size of market issue," Lee tells The Block.

Lee said he believes the cryptocurrency space is "too small for the institutional world." Lee goes on to compare bitcoin's relatively small market size to that of gold, stocks, and bonds. "Gold is 9 trillion. The stock market is 66 trillion the bond market is 86 trillion, bitcoin is not even half a percent of the total assets," Lee says, adding that "if you’re asking someone to allocate 1% to bitcoin — that’s like triple the market weighting, like you’re you’re asking someone to make a massive bet even though it’s 1% of their assets because bitcoin is that small."

"It’s probably correct I think about 1% of the U.S. owns bitcoin and at that size it’s too small for an institution, it’s a hobby," Lee concludes.

Another barrier preventing institutional investors from entering the cryptocurrency space is a lack of infrastructure, Lee says. However, Lee believes this is due to the lack of regulatory protection. "There’s not enough legal and regulatory protection for bitcoin in the U.S. to prevent a White House executive order banning bitcoin, like nothing today would prevent bitcoin from being outlawed in the U.S."

Due to regulatory uncertainty, Lee believes institutional investors will feel they are taking on "reputational risk" for "extending it to a market that has no regulatory protection..."

Very good article. All that kind institutional investors are mirage and illusion. There is Greyscale investing in Bitcoin and not much more.I am sure that there are some group of spekulant entering bitcoin time to time creating pumps and dumps but they mostly prefer derivatives
I only follow Peter Brandt i have learned from him very useful trading tips
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: October 05, 2019, 12:35:08 PM
I have been mostly betting on horse racing.to find winners i have been working like about two three hours searching statistic comparing trying to find horse with best chances in that particular condition. In UK horse racing weather what is changing fast time time play important role
When i won i felt incredible satisfaction. For sure betting can be addictive but win is bringing a lot of positive emotions
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 05, 2019, 12:27:43 PM
There are news that Juve wants to buy Kante. Lets see how it will goes
I think Juve is going to win that game or at least drawn. Ronaldo and Higuain are super duo.Stronger Rival better they play.Inter is very defensive in fact .Inter didn"t create many chances against Barca. All his games in Serie A was easy one.If Juve will lost that game then Inter will be 5 points ahead .So i think Juve will put maximum effort

And Milan. How i like that club with so great history.will they bounce back finally. If Milan will continue his tragic way of play then during coming break coach can be changed and i think will be changed
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with cryptocurrency (in my country) isn't easy as I thought on: October 05, 2019, 12:15:02 PM
There is not so much friendly environment for cryptocurrencies in my country
My country Middle-East Europe EU member. Most of quality exchanges has to move to Malta
I prefer not to risk and i don"t transfer any money from or to exchanges from my bank
There was cases that banks were suspending accounts
However i see that there is more and more people who are interested in bitcoin mostly like investment but people don"t see potential what blockchain technology has to offer

46  Economy / Speculation / Re: New printed money into crypto? How? on: October 05, 2019, 12:26:45 AM
There was not any fresh printing yet.US markets are at ATH because of hope for more cut rates and more QE
Draghi decided about new EBC QE but it was against EBC council and Madame Legarde new EBC Chairman will probably change decision. However it was repo done in silence huge  50 bln dollars has been pumped in to US banking system. It means banks has liquidity problems.Imagine banks are reviving all that printed money but they have liquidity problems. So what banks are doing with all that money
I have flashback from 2007.That year was first singes of crisis.Similar repo has been done same like now there was headlines about war against Iran stocks was  ATH.it is also 12 years cycle so we can have next crisis
But 12 years gone do you think that people will like to pay for banks loses as it was in 2008
i am not sure about more QE.Madame Legarde is economist Wall Street hates her because she was and voting to stop that financial madness.Powell is much more responsible than Bernanke.Maybe lesson learned .Economist very well know that QE and rates cut was any medicine for crisis
Now most of economist very well know that all that last bad economic data was caused by trade war
If you are saying that bitcoin didn"t rise than count from 3100 to current 8100 and find me any asset index what gave that kind of gains
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: October 05, 2019, 12:01:01 AM
There is not special currency dedicated to gambling. It has to be fast low transaction fee
I remember when i was betting on legendary betting service DirectBet.eu then i have been betting with dogecoin
Bitcoin was slow that time fee was much higher than dogecoin
Mostly cryptocurrencies gambling or betting services are giving opportunity to choose from few cryptocurrencies
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 04, 2019, 07:07:56 PM
There is old true.People needs money. Because there is not possible to pay for daily life expenses with bitcoin then people are exchanging bitcoin to fiat.To gain more fiat or bitcoin people trade bitcoin same way like they trade any other asset or currency. There is technology behind bitcoin what will disrupt modern world but there is bitcoin like asset what is traded to make traders more money. In a case of payments Visa MC are still better and cheaper than bitcoin is
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: October 04, 2019, 07:02:01 PM
I don"t see to much sense to compering gold price to bitcoin price.Talking about bitcoin replacing gold is the same like bitcoin is replacing fiat money. If anybody think that Central Banks will buy bitcoin and hold bitcoin like a his reserve that he is wrong.Enough to remember dump from 20K to 3K
There are also some question to be answered. What after last bitcoin will be mined
I also think and i also wants bitcoin to be alternative not any  replacement .If you want bitcoin to be included in current financial system then be ready for very hard regulations
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin sudden dump, when it will bounce again... on: October 04, 2019, 05:30:32 PM
Bitcoin lost support on 21 WEMA what was bitcoin trend line. That triggered massive amount of stop loss and liquidated longs. There was also unfilled CME GAP on 8200-8400 level..It had to be filled before next bull run
So things happen. When bitcoin begin next  run .Maybe next week or next next week.something has to happen now it looks like bitcoin is resting after crazy days
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 04, 2019, 05:20:54 PM
Cryptocurrencies and blockchain related business struggle in USA because of lack of clear legislation rules
It is enough to say that Circle moved from USA to offshore area. There is kind of scandal with LedgerX  physical futures.they have completed all needed paper work and still waiting on CFTC  approval. Bakkt has got they still need to wait nobody knows how long.Probably we will see emigration of blockchain start ups to more friendly areas but it can be not easy if developers are USA citzens
You can do with your  life whatever you want but crypto is simply still very profitable specially because halving is around corner
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 04, 2019, 05:03:07 PM
I have been watching TV reportage about gambler from Las Vegas. He was living in Vegas gambling was all his life
Every night he was gamble always at same casino. He become well known .Local press was posting about him and his life.Once he had night of his life he won really big broke bank almost. That was huge lose for casino
Next night he came back and he lost all money what he won previous night
That story became famous. Many newspapers was writing about him and hid gambling passion
He became living legend of Vegas and living legend of casino where he was gamble.People was traveling to that his casino to watch him to gamble with him.He never changed his behavior gambling was his life .It was not about to win or lost it was able to gamble. But life is life people needs money he never did any good money losing if he won anything.
Once he asked casino to pay him a little because of his legend casino has a lot of customers but casino rejected his ask they didn"t want to share with him any money. Finally he was poor tired living in very small flat
All together sad story and maybe good conclusion. If you win take your award and never comeback
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial crisis 2.0 - What will happen to bitcoin in the next crisis? on: October 04, 2019, 02:34:21 PM
Any very strong sell off on markets will cause bitcoin dump
Bitcoin is emerging asset class. Those kind of assets are failing first. But after sell off there is very strong rebound
But many depends what will cause that crisis.High inflation in USA or dollar loosing his dominance will casue very strong run on both bitcoin and gold
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 04, 2019, 02:25:06 PM
Many people know about bitcoin. But not so many of them know what bitcoin really is
People don"t  have idea and knowledge how blockchain technology can improve his life
When we talk to people about bitcoin we need to focus on blockchain. bitcoin advantage compere to traditional banking system and other potential use of blockchain technology.Great bitcoin advantage are instant transaction fixed fee transparency and security what is very important in current digital era
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 04, 2019, 02:14:51 PM
Fast withdrawn. Opportunity to bet with various crypto
And have good list of various sport betting events
@ChrisPop mentioned Directbet.eu. It was best betting service ever done.It was  like blockchain betting with instant deposits and instant withdrawn. If you will be able to develop similar service then you will have tones of customers
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Ethereum managed to pass bitcoin in transaction fees last week on: October 04, 2019, 12:32:58 PM
It is because Tether switched to erc-20.Tether is now number 4 on Coinmarket.
But it can be also kind of problem for Ethereum. Ethereum must to his upgrades because of his famous difficulty bomb otherwise  transactions will stuck. All that way to Ethereum POS will be crucial not only for Ethereum but also for all his ecosystem
57  Economy / Economics / Re: How did the Bakkt launch go? Quick recap on: October 04, 2019, 12:23:20 PM
Alright so Bakkt launched this thing and then the price of Bitcoin sank faster than whale shit.   What happened?

How do I sign up and get an account at Bakkt?  Did Bakkt get rekkt?  Or did Bakkt do the rekkting?

Bakkt is only for institution .There is slowly growing volume on Bakkt. In a case of Bakkt i am much more interested in his merchant program than his futures.Futures are yet another futures at least it is not paper futures but service for institution interested in earning bitcoin. But his merchant program can serve bitcoin adoption
That is what we really need
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or Bear season for crypto? on: October 04, 2019, 12:17:36 PM
We are still in bull market.Price at 8K is not bad. Most traders was expecting to hit 10K at the end of the year
But bitcoin went parabolic. It was to fast and to soon.Dominance from over 50% went to 75% .I think it was liquidity problem. Now BTC is more or less stable at 8K. It looks like accumulation time.Longer accumulation stronger rebound will be
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2019, 12:11:13 PM
Just watching Man Utd, how the mighty have fallen. It wasn’t all that lomg ago they were almost seen as unbeaten. They really are dog shit these days & I’m absolutely loving it.

So disappointing performance by the Red Devils.
After all those bad results I can assume that there are problems in the dressing room that Ole Gunnar Solkjaer cannot handle.
And this results to those negative results for MU.

I even feel that Man United is like a lower level club that can't do anything. There must be a problem, but I don't know whether it is from the dressing room or there are other problems. Man United appearances in the English league and European league are still below average as a big EPL club.

His biggest problems is absence of striker.s Lukaku and Sanchez has been sold MU didn"t buy any new forward
But his problem is deeper i think.Through last years they were spending heavy millions on overpriced players
Sanchez is example. That year management decided to introduce young players to the team.MU is rebuilding his team.Yesterday game was tragic .No shots on goal first time from years
But look top team from Europe.Probably MU will like to buy somebody during winter window
It will be hard season for MU and it is not about coach
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: October 03, 2019, 09:43:04 PM
Cryptocurrencies are most users friendly from any kind of currency
It is so easy and fast to make transaction
Fee are the same for transactions in the same city or between continents
If user is sending crypto it appear in wallet address almost instantly
If i transfer money from bank by doing domestic transaction then money disappear instantly from  my bank account  but they are appear in destination account after 1-2 days
Blockchain is working 24/7 all days and nights without interruption
Blockchain is best AI in the world
