41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can You Memorize Your Recovery Phrase? on: June 15, 2024, 10:21:24 AM
I'm not sure if I can memorize my seed phrase, but let's try.

So my seed phrase is: fuck, pussy, gay, homophobic, vagina, penis, trans, asshole, dickhead, bitch, shit, slut. Wow I remembered all of my words, so definitely it's possible to memorize seed phrase.

Many people have good memory so remembering 12 words or 24 words is not a big problem for them, but you also need to take into account unexpected incidents such as accidents that cause temporary memory loss. How will you or your loved ones access your bitcoins?

This method has advantages because we can access our bitcoins whenever we want and the risk of information disclosure is almost non-existent. But that is not a method that brings absolute safety and not everyone has good memory to remember.

If the place you're keeping it is exposed, you're going to regret that later on. Please put it somewhere safer in your house and I know that each house has that kind of place.
If he live in Gaza, there are no safe place.

Depending on the geographical area, security situation, weather...we will have appropriate seed storage methods. If you live in a war zone or an area prone to floods and earthquakes, storing it indoors or burying it in the backyard would be a bad idea. We need to be flexible in choosing methods that suit our conditions, instead of being rigid and imitating the ways of others.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 14, 2024, 07:40:17 PM
Frenkie de Jong is actually such a talent however his injury-prone nature is a big obstacle for him indeed.  Sad  As far as I can see he got injured 4 times and missed 28 games during the 2023/2024 season. This is a serious problem. Since the 2017/2018 season he has been regularly having injuries except one season.

I don't know whether this will be a reason for Barcelona to be open for offers for him this summer. But while trying to create funds they should be careful with not having a weaker squad next season. Otherwise their competitiveness will get even worse.
Netherland national team head coach Louis van Gaal withdrew Frankie de Jong on his final squad for playing in Euro 2024 after getting injury, its bad news for Barcelona have priority for selling him on winter transfer window opening after getting injury again and make his market values decreasing. Barcelona need looking the opportunity for selling Frankie de Jong because most often get injury and the early this season he was absent many matches for Barcelona in La Liga.

Barcelona still keep calm after one week announcing Hansi Flick become their manager, seems still waiting the most potential player for signing and Barcelona make balance with their financial condition before recruiting new players for next season.
I wish Barcelona could be competitor for Real Madrid next season after success signing kylian Mbappe and has large opportunity for defending their La Liga winner next season. Current composition squad seems not compete for stopping Madrid for winning La Liga tittle next season.

@Velvet78 This is a quite unique situation because if the team or Barcelona let him go right now, they might not get a player like him anytime soon. And there is a possibility that Barcelona will try to bring into players with the money that they will get by selling him. Even though it might look like that will increase the depth of the squad, that is eventually going to decrease the quality of the squad. Barcelona will have to think it through

@armanda90 If Barcelona want to sell him, they will still have a problem. Right now a lot of clubs are actually very interested in the injury situation of players. If the players get injured often, a lot of clubs are either not interested in buying him or want to pay a lot less money for that player because of his injury history. So even though Frankie de Jong is a player who has great qualities and abilities, Barcelona might not get as much money as they wanted by selling him.

Barcelona is definitely not going to be ready to face Real Madrid. Barcelona just does not have the same quality as Real Madrid.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 14, 2024, 05:49:10 PM
I have heard that PSG is very interested in Vini jr and Lamine Yamal. But I do not think there is any reality where Vini jr is actually going to leave Real Madrid and go to PSG. It almost doesn’t matter how much money they offer him. Unless Vini jr starts to think that he has done everything and achieved everything with Real Madrid that there is to achieve. Which is definitely not the case. If it was some other club like Manchester City or even Arsenal, he might have given this a thought. But he's definitely not going to PSG. Lamine Yamal might be an easier target. Because Barcelona is very interested in money right now. But Barcelona will not be able to replace him easily. One thing I also do not understand is why PSG is looking for left and right winger right now. They need a well performer at the striker position in my opinion.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins dominance over Real Estate in terms of profitability on: June 14, 2024, 02:02:48 PM
Comparing bitcoin investment to real estate, now we have to get the understanding that bitcoin is the most profitable of all other centralized and physical assets of investments including gold, starting from its profitability and how this same coin has been help helpful by being applicable in all aspects of live and the economy, we can make use of bitcoin as a multi facet asset and a profitable investment, whereas other assets can be influenced by the effect of inflation from the economy standard and bitcoin remain unaffected through these because its a decentralized digital currency and does not depend on the centralized economy.

Bitcoin is decentralized but its value also depends on human supply and demand, and humans are part of a centralized economy. Just like what is happening now, the world economic situation is still very gloomy, inflation and crisis are still high. This makes everyone's life difficult, people are struggling with daily expenses, how can they have money to invest in bitcoin?

Bitcoins are a decentralized asset, which means they are not owned by anyone, no one can control it, but it cannot exist on its own and separate from the rest of the world. Bitcoin belongs to the community, but the community is the people who depend on the world economy so it would be an exaggeration to say that bitcoin can exist without anyone.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will ecommerce websites start accepting Bitcoin as payment soon? on: June 14, 2024, 01:33:37 PM
A lot of people currently hold either BTC or USDT, do you guys think popular ecommerce websites will start accepting BTC as payment methods alongside PayPal and the rest?

I guess you haven't tried searching for them on google because this is not new , there have been many large businesses accepting bitcoin payments for many years . Even many members on this forum have used bitcoin as a payment method for their small and medium businesses . This is the latest thread about accepting bitcoin as a payment method for auto repair shops by a forum member.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5498925.0

But the problem we are facing is how many people will choose bitcoin as a payment method when its transaction fees are very high and people just want to accumulate more bitcoins rather than spend . Everyone wants to take advantage of bitcoin's volatility to make a profit , few people are willing to use bitcoin for payments and many see it as a waste.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT BRAG ABOUT YOUR BITCOIN on: June 14, 2024, 01:06:28 PM
maybe better choose whom to discuss the Bitcoin thing because each time we tackle crypto(not just bitcoin)  we are either luring them to be investors and supporters or to plan taking our funds
To be honest even your closest friends can not be trusted. Yes you might trust them with everything and tell them about anything but you never know how a person can act around money. People are inherently greedy and with how hard everyone's lives nowadays, who is to say no one will be willing to break some friendships over some free money ?

After all , close friends are not our relatives or brothers, so there is no reason to share everything with them, including bitcoin we hold. Sometimes , brothers in a family even try to harm each other , husbands and wives sometimes doubt each other...how can we easily trust someone just because they say they consider us their close friends ?

Most evils are related to money, so it's best not to show off or share your assets with anyone , especially non-relatives . We should only share with the person we trust the most , which could be our wife or mother to prevent unwanted things from happening to us . In addition, it is necessary to keep absolute secrets because it not only affects our relationships but even affects the safety of our loved ones , not just us.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: The choice of investment is dependent on your region of residency. on: June 14, 2024, 12:42:37 PM
Because the scope of investment is broad and indeed we are discussing investment as a whole without being fixated on traditional or modern but indeed I quite agree because it does refer to traditional such as real estate or related to that.
But actually for online investment this is also a little influential because however the environment and the region can be an obstacle to investing online given the current conditions as we take an example to invest in bitcoin because not all regions or all regions can be in bitcoin especially for those who are bitcoin legality is still a problem because until now there are not a few countries or regions that still do not allow bitcoin even to become a commodity.

So in this case even though it doesn't have a big impact but in the end this can also have an effect considering that this relates to government regulations in the place where we live.

Basically, the government cannot completely ban bitcoin in any form and there will always be ways for us to invest in bitcoin. The small impacts you mentioned are up to you, if you are a principled, law-abiding person and don't invest in bitcoin just because the government hasn't legalized it yet then that's your problem. Because you can break that barrier at any time as long as you want.

In addition, if you are someone who strictly follows government regulations, you will also encounter more obstacles with traditional businesses, let alone online investments. Do you see businesses, organizations...always looking for ways to avoid taxes or pay as little tax as possible? If a person strictly followed the law they wouldn't do that.
Governments cannot regulate bitcoin but with the regulation and power they have they can ban bitcoin and indeed things like this we often see especially for some countries that do have strong regulations like China for example. Although indeed this is also one of the strategies for them to relax the bitcoin market which is quite difficult to control but the fact that the government can ban bitcoin is a certainty and this is what I mean depending on the conditions and situations in the region we live in.

Regulating bitcoin is something that the government will not be able to do because the nature of bitcoin that is contrary to what they developed (decentralized and centralized) makes the government unable to tinker with bitcoin but in the end they can make bitcoin banned and that is 2 different things in the end because banning is different from controlling.

China has banned bitcoin for many years but we still have a lot of investors from China and that shows they cannot ban bitcoin completely. There are always investors who defy the ban and are willing to invest in bitcoin, there will always be a way for us to invest in bitcoin if we want, as I said.

Regarding banning bitcoin, in my opinion no country can ban bitcoin and stop its development. Just like China, they can only ban it in their country but cannot prevent its development in the world. There is only one scenario for governments to completely ban bitcoin and that is for all governments to join forces, but that is unlikely because countries all have their own interests.

Quote from: Fabrizio Romano
Brian Priske, set to become new Feyenoord head coach to replace Arne Slot.
Agreement reached with Sparta Prague and on his contract, working to get all details done on Saturday also on Priske’s staff.
Source: https://apnews.com/article/feyenoord-priske-slot-klopp-sparta-liverpool-fcc415a763974f9ea78bb6aad465902b

I mean they had to move fast so that they could bring in a coach after the coach that they had got pulled away from them by Liverpool. I do not have a very good idea about this coach Brian Priske. But I know that he has done well with Sparta Prague. And I can see that’s why Feyenoord has brought him in. Well they are trying to bring him in. Everything is still not done. But by the looks of it it is probably going to be done very soon. Feyenoord is going to play in the Champions League competition. They have also finished second in the league. So the expectation is going to be high from the new coach Brian.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 13, 2024, 07:13:12 PM
I don’t understand why this is so hard to grasp. Being present in a competition does not mean that you are doing great in that competition. A lot of countries play in the World Cup. That does not mean that they all have done well in the World Cup. In the end there is one winner who is able to win the trophy. And that is the ultimate glory. I am not saying that the teams from the Italian league will not be able to win the Champions League anytime soon. all I am saying is that they have not been able to do it for quite some time now.  The possibility of that happening in recent future is also pretty questionable.

Well, we all know that they were great teams but let's say that last year Inter went to the final to compete and the result wasn't that bad. Comparing the two teams, City is an alien and Inter is an ant and yet they didn't have an easy life, they only won with a goal which in my opinion also came with a bit of luck, so if we want to be honest it doesn't mean that there won't be an Italian who will lift the champions, pay attention to Juventus

Well, nobody knows what is going to happen in the future. So if I say that any Italian team is not going to lift the Champions League trophy in the near future, it is just going to be assuming things, probably a little too much. But the current track record definitely does not look very good. The probability does not look good, but the possibility is of course present. But again, it is possible for a lot of teams to win the Champions League competition right? It is just not probable. But I have some hope for Inter Milan. Let’s see if they can do something good in the Champions League competition in the upcoming season.

Unfortunately, Italian teams have not raised the Champions League since 2010, but it must also be said that in the following years there was a chance to win several times with Juventus and Inter last year. Unfortunately they didn't manage to raise it, but I believe that in the years to come and with all these new owners of the top Italian clubs, Inter Juventus and Milan will have further chances to win the Champions League. At least I hope so

Honestly, I do not have much hope for Juventus. Because they have been going through a lot of problems and they are also going to go through a managerial change. So I don’t know if it is going to be a wise idea to actually count on Juventus to lift the Champions League trophy in the next season. Inter Milan might do it though. The way they have performed in this season in the Italian league was incredible. But the problem is, on paper Manchester City, and Real Madrid look far better compared to Inter Milan. Some people will probably say that even Bayern Munich is stronger compared to them. But of course, the competition is going to be very big because it is the Champions League competition after all.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC Men's T20 World Cup - 2024 #Cricket Prediction and Discussion on: June 13, 2024, 05:38:30 PM
This match will be competitive. The pitch is not completely bowling friendly. Bangladeshi batsmen have got enough advantage on this pitch. Batting of Netherlands batsmen is also good enough on this pitch. Vikramajit Singh batted well. Had the pair of Vikramajit and Engelbrecht gone longer, the match would have been completely under the control of the Netherlands. However, Mahmudullah just picked up the wicket of Vikramajit. Netherlands lost 3 wickets in 10 overs. However, the run rate of the Netherlands is decent. Netherlands team collected 74 runs in 10 overs. Bangladesh will win only if the Bangladeshi bowlers can bowl in a controlled manner in the next 5 overs.

Shakib is batting well today but not bowling well. He gave away 19 runs in 2 overs. RIshad gave 14 runs in 1 over. Bangladesh captain has to be more conscious in the selection of bowlers today. If not, Bangladesh is likely to be defeated.

It looks like Shakib Al Hasan finally has been able to find some kind of form with the bat. he was the one that played throughout the whole inning almost. He has scored 64 from 46 balls and stayed not out. That has given the foundation for Bangladesh to reach 159. but with the ball, he has not been good so far. Given away 19 Runs from his two overs.

Right now the Netherlands are actually in a good position and from this position there is a very good chance for them to win this match honestly. Right now they need 72 from 48 balls. with seven wickets in hand, that is very much achievable.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are cold wallets safer than online exchanges? on: June 13, 2024, 05:09:52 PM
If you had a large amount of cryptocurrency would you prefer to keep it on an offline cold wallet or an online cryptocurrency exchange?

Both have pros and cons.

I'm interested to hear the thoughts of others.

Do you want to store money your way and only you can access your funds or do you want to deposit them in the bank and depend on the bank? The bank can go bankrupt or freeze your assets at any time without prior notice to you while it is your money.

Similarly, using a cold wallet gives you full control over your assets, you are like your own bank, you will be responsible for the safety of your assets. Meanwhile, centralized exchanges are even riskier than banks. They can be attacked by hackers, go bankrupt, freeze your assets without notice or compensation to you. It will all depend on your preferences and choices.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much do you love bitcoins? on: June 13, 2024, 05:00:25 PM

Has your love for Bitcoin surpassed your love for country? If your government threatens arrest for anyone found to still be involved in bitcoins, are you willing to go to jail even if it is just for a day?

I won't betray my country but I won't consider our failure to comply with some regulations as treason, so I will still look to invest in bitcoin even if the government bans it. Because after all, when I encounter economic difficulties, it is unlikely that the government will come to help, but with bitcoin I can save myself and my family . I have good reasons to invest in bitcoin despite the government ban.

Will you be willing to relocate from your country to another region if the environment becomes unsafe for people like you who have invested in bitcoins?

If I had to choose between my family and bitcoin , I would choose my family . I don't care much whether my government bans bitcoin or not because there will always be a way for me to invest in bitcoin even if they ban it , so there is no reason for me to move to another country and leave my family .

If you had money that you had already planned to DCA into bitcoins and a close family member or friend with a pressing financial need comes up to you to ask you for some financial help, will you be willing to skip your DCA plans and help them? How should we react in such a situation.

After all , bitcoin is just money and if I lose it, I still have the opportunity and ability to buy it back at any time , but if my loved ones pass away , I will not have a chance to find them again. Bitcoin is just money, nothing more, nothing less.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 13, 2024, 04:40:03 PM
Remember that China has its own successful CBDC that is growing and they'll focus on increasing its adoption not start advertising shitcoins instead.
I agree, China would choose anything they can control over what they cannot, and cbdc is perfect for them, it is pro surveillance and it helps them to better monitor their citizens finances. BTC isn't part of their plans, and surely Ethereum isn't as well, i don't know why people believe China is moving towards crypto adoption whenever there is a crypto related news coming out of that country; i don't know about Ethereum, but BTC doesn't need any adoption or approval from China, neither does China have to adopt BTC for any reason.

But there is an issue they need to pay attention to if they don't want to become outdated compared to the rest of the world. China is gradually becoming stronger and is considered America's most formidable opponent in the international arena, and if any country can take the position of America's number 1 power , it will probably be China. As we know, the United States is already getting involved in bitcoin by approving bitcoin ETFs and sooner or later the rest of the countries will do the same. If China remains stubbornly against bitcoin and cryptocurrencies , it will only cause them to lag behind the US in this crypto sector. So I think it's only a matter of time before they lift the ban and take a more friendly view of crypto.

Additionally, if we support and welcome bitcoin ETFs in the United States, why don't we think there will be similar impacts if China changes its crypto policies?
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Bitcoin look like in the future? on: June 13, 2024, 04:28:17 PM
What is the future of Bitcoin?
Based on the current state of affairs in the cryptoindustry, bitcoin will most likely remain an investment instrument (like shares of the stock market), because there is already quite a lot of money from institutional investors invested in this asset. This process is irreversible, which means that the opportunity to invest in bitcoin will remain. It will probably be impossible for ordinary citizens to do this directly (buy / sell) and will have to use services like brokers or exchangers. That is, no anonymity of any kind (pseudo-anonymity can only be a dream). I don't think governments will allow the use of bitcoin P2P and it will be prosecuted under the (new) laws. Bitcoin will not be used as a means of payment or digital electronic money. This will be the other side of mass adoption.

Bitcoin will continue to exist and humanity will not give up on it, but the use of this financial asset will be completely different from what most users here expect.

Not pessimistic, not spreading Fud, and as a realist, I completely agree with what you say. As I have said many times before, the price we must pay if we want bitcoin to become legal and popular globally will be privacy. Governments will never allow us to use bitcoin without their control, and bitcoin will never become a currency and replace fiat. Many people have looked down on the government and thought that they would have no way to manage and control us, but look what has been happening.

But I hope there is still a way for us to keep some privacy for ourselves. In addition to using bitcoin as an investment, I still like to use bitcoin as my own bank. That gives me peace of mind instead of having to trust the bank to store assets.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 13, 2024, 06:42:13 AM
Bangladesh could not win the match despite keeping South Africa within such few runs. At one time the equation was that Bangladesh would have to score fewer runs than balls to win but Bangladesh made that simple equation much more difficult later.

Mahmudullah picked up the ball on the fifth ball of the innings and the ball would have crossed the boundary line had the South African fielder not fielded brilliantly. I will not say that Bangladesh lost this match only because of Bangladesh's failure, there were some faulty decisions by the umpires.

In all these major ICC events, ICC uses their elite panel amperes but such wrong decisions are not really expected by these elite panel amperes. Several white balls they considered as legal balls as well as they gave up without claiming LBW, it was seen here that several decisions went against them.
All in all, if Bangladesh could have won then maybe we would have forgotten everything but that was not the case.
Pakistan and Bangladesh could not handle the pressure and were not aware of the situation that when to hit the ball and when to stop or take singles.
Another worst thing that happened to team Bangladesh is ICC's sluggish rule about dead balls and at the end of the day, those 4 runs cost Bangladesh a lot.

Photo: wicket review of Mahmudullah
Source: https://play.toffeelive.com/en/watch/4d75a2234ebf4e1602c4aa02589ef922

@Fuso.hp, I understand that Bangladesh has played really badly in that match. With the target, Bangladesh should have been able to win pretty easily. But I think there are some rules in cricket that has to be reviewed. There was no way Mahmudullah should have been given out on that wall that went for a boundary-hitting his pads. I do not understand how he could give that out. The decision was reviewed and he was given not out but as the empire had given out before the ball reached the boundary, it was declared a dead ball. So Bangladesh did not get the four runs they should have.

In the end, they also lost by four runs. I understand that anyone could say Bangladesh should have been able to win easily in this match. But that does not refute the argument that the umpire had taken a terrible decision and if he had taken the right decision Bangladesh could have won the match.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 13, 2024, 05:32:24 AM
-.-
For now, I think what Alonso is doing will of course be very difficult for other coaches to do, so far he has proven his capacity as a talented coach and with a squad that is arguably not a star squad he is actually able to provide extraordinary achievements and is very worthy of us considering him as a talented coach,  Alonso, who has never previously handled a big team and also does not have extensive experience with many teams, but has shown extraordinary ability in managing a team that was previously a mediocre, results and achievements are of course an assessment for other clubs to recruit him in the future so we cannot say if maybe he will not be able to bring glory to other teams one day.

To be honest, if you compare Zidane and Alonso to choose the best, of course I personally will choose Alonso who is the best compared to Zidane, indeed so far Zidane has given many achievements to Madrid when he first coached, even his achievements are even greater than those obtained by Alonso today, but we also cannot deny that Zidane success in Madrid is inseparable from the support of many star and great players at that time So it is not surprising for us to see him achieve a lot of achievements at the beginning of his coaching career, but it is different from Alonso who does coach a team that contains players who may not have known their names before this season.

Zidane did have a lot of great players. And that was probably a very big reason why he was able to bring in such good results with Real Madrid. I am also sure that if Alonso had that level of great player, he would have been able to win the Europa League competition. So I don’t think I will be able to disagree with you that Alonso might be a better coach compared to Zidane right now.

But I cannot help but think that we might be judging Alonso too quickly. Maybe we should wait for another season and see how he does. There is no doubt that he is a good coach because otherwise, he would not have been able to achieve what he has with Leverkusen. Actually, we might be jumping to conclusions a little too quickly. I have no doubt about his knowledge of the game. However, when it comes to Zidane I guess the reputation of Zidane comes to mind and a lot of people get biased, probably even including me.

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dream! on: June 12, 2024, 10:43:08 AM

I don't understand why the Cryptocurrency gods are deaf to my prayers((

Because we don't believe what you say and we have no obligation to help you just because we are cryptocurrency investors. Why don't you make money with your own hands? Why do you spend time online and ask people to help you by donating to you? That just proves you're a lazy person. If a person is really in difficulty and needs help, they will ask for advice to have a job that brings income, not blatantly ask for money. Because no matter how much money you ask for, one day you will spend it all if you are lazy and refuse to work.
I agree that life is getting more difficult and many people are at the brink but I don't think people will easily believe and help you just because you say you are having trouble.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Involve an attorney in your business dealings. on: June 12, 2024, 10:04:52 AM
Involving an attorney in a business transaction is as important as the business itself. sometimes naive people usually include some terms and conditions that are not good for you in a business intentionally to defraud you without your notice. some might even include some terms that you could be convicted for if eventually the transaction goes wrong that is why it's good to have a lawyer by your side to take actions that are necessary.

A simple step can save you from some trouble even though it might be some how expensive.
Why would someone in his right sense sign a document without reading at the terms and conditions, i know it may seem rare but it literally happens in the society. And at the end of the day they will accuse the other person for defrauding them when they were ignorant of reading what the document contains. The purpose of signing a contract or document for a business is because you and the other/organization needs to be speaking the same mind and have come to the same agreement. Which is a must that you read the document and if you do not agree with what it conveys then dont sign until an agreement has been made and written with ink on paper.

Another mistake that usually lead people into trouble is the fact that they refuse to take a copy of the agreement immediately, which is risky. Dont forge that is is paper and ink they could make changes to it if you do no have an original document for yourself. Evil does manipulate signatures and a lot of things these days using modern technology so we shouldn't fall victim of such mistake. I just feel that some people really need to here this i just said.

I have never seen a businessman so naive or stupid as to sign a contract without reading the terms of the contract. If you don't even care about protecting the rights of your business, how can you ensure the survival of your business? And who dares to invest and cooperate in the business you manage?

Not to mention, before the contract is signed and approved, the terms and requirements of both parties will be presented several months in advance for both parties to review and discuss before making a final agreement. Therefore, it would be ridiculous for a businessman to sign a contract without reading the terms.
I do not deny the role of lawyers and what I want to say is that we do not need to overestimate them and underestimate ourselves as business owners. And the fact that someone does not read the contract terms and rushes to sign only happens to normal people, people without expertise, and the contracts they sign are mainly insurance, retail sales...I have never seen such a thing happen to businesses.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: USA lose oil but will replace with btc and crypto on: June 12, 2024, 09:47:11 AM

And while you may attach so much value to Bitcoin, US may not be seeing it that way. Otherwise, they would have already bought so much and even made it a valuable reserve. Let's be realistic.

Other countries, especially the BRICS bloc, are increasingly reducing their dependence on the USD and that process is happening quite quickly. If they can do it with USD then they can do the same with bitcoin if the US holds the majority of bitcoin and wants bitcoin as another solution to manipulate the world. If the US makes this move, they want to rely on an asset they cannot control, which means they are destroying themselves faster.
Clearly, OP is being quite delusional and over-exaggerating about bitcoin, and politicians are not as stupid as we think.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: The choice of investment is dependent on your region of residency. on: June 12, 2024, 09:25:13 AM
Paying attention to the region can indeed be a good point because after all, when talking about investment, it is definitely the long term that is glimpsed so that we must see what the potential or future progress is like so as not to make the wrong choice .

Looking for experts and listening to advice is also actually not too bad to do, it's just that if it feels too burdensome, actually I think when we look for ourselves carefully and take into account all the conditions and risks that we will have later, actually it can still be done without having to look for experts and ask for their advice.

Today we have wide access when we talk about the internet so by looking at the advantages that exist in terms of infrastructure today we only need to be serious about our intentions and goals so that in the end our choices do not cause us to get lost in the future.

That is only true if we talk about traditional investment and business, areas where we need to have a business base and need potential customers. But when it comes to online investments like bitcoin or stocks, regional factors are not relevant or a barrier to our investments . Even if you come from a country that bans bitcoin , there are still ways for you to get involved in investing in them . I agree with what OP said but like I said, it's relevant when we talk about traditional fields.

In addition, when deciding to invest or business , it means we need to have in-depth knowledge about it and be confident with our vision. Don't just look to experts and advisors for advice because they may not understand better than us . What they give us is only advice from books and theories , even if they have never experienced it .
