41  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: bm1380 , bm1382 , bm1384 , bm1385 , blf sc and monacrh , knc neptune chips on: February 14, 2017, 07:40:42 AM
Nice mate, would you be willing to ship to France one of each ?

At what price ?

Cheers,
Q.

ill have to check at the post office what it would cost to ship outside of the usa , but again since one of each chip would fit into an envelope i would imagine it shouldnt be exspensive

i really honestly dont know what to ask price wise but since leo seemed to be happy with 1$ per chip ill just stick with that that atleast makes it worth my time to put them in an envelope and send them off. ill get back to you when i can check on mailing them to france . pm me an actual adress so i can check on the price for ya

Dunno if I'm lowballing hard or not since I have no experience with chips but I'd offer bucks and shipping to 16415 for one of each chip. I don't have nearly the experience to make a new miner, nor can I even solder new chips on :p

buck a chip?
i also forgot i have some spoondoolie rockerboxes if i can cleanly pull them from the boards , also another cool looking chip like the bfl chips

i took my pain meds so my hands arent steady enough right now to grab pics of the rest of the pics, ill get them tommorow though

heres a bfl monarch ( i like these the most myself )

cellphone isnt taking good pics of the bm chips it washes out the writing on the tops , so ill have to wait till my gopro is charged up
49  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: bm1380 , bm1382 , bm1384 , bm1385 , blf sc and monacrh , knc neptune chips on: February 14, 2017, 12:17:27 AM
This is pretty damn interesting, I don't know how to offer for each honestly but for the BM1384 Sidehack would probably let you exchange some for a stick or a pod. I'd be interested in one of each chip you have but I don't know how much shipping would be for that- also, please upload ss'. Zip is 16415. Would be nice to put in a display as long as they aren't burned or dirty Smiley

shipping would be really cheap if u just wanted one of each to have one i could just stick them in a padded envelope , the only chips i have a couple of are the knc and bfl , but all the bm suff i have hundred's to thousands

soon as my camera is charged up ill get some pictures up

i have a tons and tons of these chips i have pulled from various boards and miners
selling them just as if somone wants a couple chips as souvenirs or anything like that ( maybe solder one to a ring or some other jewelry or whatever u could come up with, make some art out of them   , though they could be used to build ur own miners if u wanted to

ill get pictures up in a lil bit my camera is charging atm

anyways let me know if u want any, how many of which ones and what ur willing to pay for them

EDIT.......
after thought

hey guys i was just looking at the neptune , bfl andspoondoolie chips would there be any interest if i made keychains out of them ?
51  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB (usa) s5's and s5 hashboards on: January 25, 2017, 05:00:39 PM
looking for complete s5's and also about 4-6 s5 hash boards to fix some s5's i already have, Let me know what u got and how much

shipping on these would be to 84713
I have 2 s5's left over from our original mining setup. 1 s5 works at spec'd hashrate but when I turned it on for testing it had one board all x's. I underclocked it and then went back to stock frequency and its all good now. The other one hash's at 1th/s no chips are bad or anything just hashes a little under spec. I was selling these on ebay but decided to not sell these last 2 for fear of something happening and then an ebay cases being opened.

price?
$125 for the pair? Shipping will probably be around $20

that sounds good let me dbl check with my hosting customer before i commit to buy them first ill get back to ya shortly

I have 2 S5's located in North Texas for sale with the upgraded acrylic side/bottom panels and dual fans, also have the factory side/bottom panels.

Never sold a few months back and I would need to get a current fair shipped price for them. Will try to get some details today and report back.

thanks just let me know when u figure out how much want for them either in this thread or a pm

oh nice i never knew the main pool was in vegas im actually not to far away , i dont dare remote into my data center right now with some of the issues i was having, but when i get over there tommorow ill move some of my farm back onto the pool

not sure how much it will help in finding blocks as my farm is basically all s7 and s5's now
S7/S5 still mine fine - if you've got cheap power.
It's the total hash rate that decides how often you are expected to find blocks.

Of the last 10 blocks, 2 where by miners with under 20THs Smiley

Actually, as long as they aren't S9v1 it's all good here Smiley
If you do ever get any S9v1, make sure you update them to the v2 firmware if you want to point them here.

with as cheap as my power is i dont see any s9's in my near future , maybe 6-9 months form now ill start switching over, kinda hesatant seems like way to many issues with them

im about 100 th total

kano how would mining over a 4g lte cell connection affect anything?

im not actually mining on the pool right now , but seriously considering switching back , or splitting my hashpower up between a few pools
last time i was on the pool i had a bunch of rejected shares and i was just wondering if its because of my backup lte connection that im using for the time being , or if i just had other network issues going on
Well 'rejected' shares are stale coz they either got to the pool more than 10 minutes late or after a network block change and the shares were for the block before the block change.

There's other reasons, but that would be the main one.

In general, the slower your connection to the pool, the higher your stale shares.
The workers page shows details of what's been rejected and why, when you click on the "Show Details for Invalids:" checkbox.

Also if you lose connection to the pool for 30seconds, all your unsent shares will be rejected when you reconnect.
ckpool doesn't handle reconnect fully, it rejects all the previous connection shares.
In general that's not a big deal, but if your internet keeps losing connection to the pool, you'll end up with more rejected shares.

thanks for the explanation, and yeah i was having some fairly rapid connect disconect issues when i first setup the backup connection , when my main went down
do u have a node close to utah , i assume that would help out in my situation a lil bit

Glad to see it worked Smiley

this isnt an easy fix by any means soldering to r17 is a royal pain , c76 isnt to bad but id imagine u could just solder to gnd on the pcie plug instead of the side of c76. that would make it a lil easier
Yessss it might/probably would work but -- when it comes to voltage regulators it is always best to keep the various returns as close to the regulator chip as possible. Really, that applies to all signal paths in any circuit... Minimizes phantom parasitic components.

thanks if i do do anymore maybe ill just keep ground at c76 then , its actually easier to solder then r17
60  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cheap and simple repair of S7 hash board on: January 24, 2017, 12:05:35 AM
second board is fixed , i have it running at 500 freq/1.2 th , dont have my volt meter to set the voltage to run it at 700, so ill take care of that later tonight.

this isnt an easy fix by any means soldering to r17 is a royal pain , c76 isnt to bad but id imagine u could just solder to gnd on the pcie plug instead of the side of c76. that would make it a lil easier

that being said im sending the remainder of my boards to sidehack for pic replacement , instead of soldering the rest myself
