Just out of curiosity, why can't people do that themselves and then they would get a guaranteed way of donating to them?

Most people use laptops with SSD, and cant afford to have a blockchain size of 40 GB or bigger.. that consumes 1/3 or 1/6 of their SSD size. If we want a truly decentralized network, nobody should be excluded. The solution is therefore to make the blockchain dynamic and small instead of one gigantic mirror on every HDD in the network.
That's a very bold claim, that most people use laptops with SSD. I for one do not know any of them. I agree that the thing to do is to make a lightweight version of the blockchain that would contain only current spendable transaction outputs. But anyone willing to host the full blockchain should have the means to do so. I have a SSD in both my laptops, my brother has SSD's in his laptop, My boss uses SSD's in every laptop issued by our company. SSD's are everywhere.

How would you get the money to them?

Seems to me that it has become very difficult for new people to use the website. I used to have another account which I lost the credentials for so have created a new one.
Lately I have been getting constant "502: Bad Gateway" errors. They locked my account without telling me, allowing me to deposit bitcoins without being able to withdraw, even as bitcoins.
I submitted my Passport and Official documents a while ago, which is still "pending". It should have taken 2 days according to their site, it has now been 6 days. I have requested to have my bitcoins returned to the address that they came from, but the requests are being ignored.
What happens if they deny the request? They keep my bitcoins?
Support is good and instant, unless you ask a question about withdrawing coins, or to do with the verification system in which case they are ignored.
I have read a few threads about them locking accounts and stopping people being able to use their own money.
Do they even have enough money to pay out everyone if everyone decided to drop them altogether?

Damn. I found an expoit in Intersango. I showed them how to fix.

I allowed him to use teamviewer to see what I were doing in order to get the coins. Thing is, I wish I took more now since the amount that guy scammed out of people.
What's wrong with the pc?

Anybody think they can figure out where the site IP is really from? I doubt it's really UK.
It is hosted with Fasthosts.co.uk. I had hosting with them a few years back. There is an abuse contact email address here: abuse@fasthosts.co.uk

Why are you loaning money to someone who takes out reputation loans? That is a sure sign of a scammer.
Well what should someone do who has no reputation? I don't use bitjam, but if someone wanted a big loan for buying miners or something and only had 0 rep, I would not trust them either.

You can easily post an image such as this: hosted on your own website. Then anyone who views that image, such as those that are viewing this thread, will have their IP address show up in your site logs. You can then use those IP addresses as you wish to try to trace every viewer of that image. You can then run hacking programs on each of those IP addresses to try to gain access to their computers. Then once in the computer there is a wealth of information that can be found on each and every person who viewed that image. Great stuff the Internet... I thought that SMF neutralized IP tracking via images? Nope, your browser loads that image from the remote site, which can log the downloads.

Say... some one Scams YOU and you want to file a Lawsuit against them I haven’t had this happen to me but just in case. Thanks It will be likely that the admin have access to the IP address which the person log on to this forum. But if this person is a scammer, they most likely will be using Tor, so it will not be their real IP address. Doesn't have to be tor. Could be a public wifi connection, could be on a proxy, could be using a VPN etc.

OR just use true crypt. It has the ability to work with another encryption key that shows different information, and it is impossible for someone to tell if it is the actual key or not.
(You use it to create a 1GB file on your hard drive, when you unlock it, it maps to a drive. If you unlock with a different key, it shows different files that you can still upload to.)

Or.. you know, don't use brain wallets. Create one locally and encrypt it with true crypt.
