41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrage bot or not? on: December 25, 2019, 03:26:24 AM
I have recently started arbitrage trading since i found a platform that displays arbitrage pairs.

My question is do you guys use bots for such trading or do you do it manually?

If you are using bots, can you recommend some?

It might also be difficult to make a bot arbitrage because it will involve many exchangers to monitor prices. In my opinion, the price information on the exchanger is enough on coinmarketcap and we can make decisions manually if you want to conduct arbitrage trading. But I think it's also good if there is a bot arbitrage because it can be used to find profits in a short time
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 24, 2019, 06:27:15 AM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.

It is better to invest using idle funds so that if we have a plan for long-term investment, it will not disrupt our financial flows. Crypto prices always fluctuate and we cannot predict when prices will rise or when they will fall, but if we use idle money, we will be calmer even though the market is not good.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: December 24, 2019, 06:24:07 AM
in my opinion if the investor is given a bonus of up to 40% then this is a big bonus because it can make prices drop dramatically after the first listing is done,. and it is unfortunate if it falls on the market, bounty hunters are always blamed .. even though bounty participants are only given 1% to thousands of participants from all the coins that were created,. and the coin creators or developers should be able to review the amount of the bonus given to investors.
I think a bonus of 40% is normal in IEO or ICO because it requires trust to invest in the beginning and maybe the project gives a bonus of 40% so investors will invest their money in their project. And when tokens/coins list at exchangers, investors will surely sell their bonuses to get profit

Usually tokens are sold with a bonus of more than 40% of the few and no more than 2% of the allocation because the developer team has different sales periods and also with different bonuses. The 40% bonus might be big but in my opinion if the project is good for the long term, it won't have much effect on the market price because investors will definitely prefer to hold
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 24, 2019, 06:17:32 AM
2020 will be coming soon. People have a big expectation in the upcoming year that there will be some big changes in crypto world. Even if some people doubt the future of cryptocurrency, we must be curious about what will happen in the next year exactly.

Here are some big things that all people may be waiting for in 2020:

1. How Bitcoin halving can bring impacts in crypto space.
2. Will we see the launching of Libra coin.
3. Us government intervention in crypto space, Libra project gets no progress.
4. People are waiting for the launching of Ethereum 2.0’s
5. SEC vs. Telegram, what is the end of this fighting?

More details, you can find out in the article: https://www.coindesk.com/10-events-to-look-out-for-in-2020

*What do you think guys?

I hope 2020 will be a turning point year for the cryptocurrency market after weakening for 2 years since 2017. With Bitcoin Halving momentum, I think this can happen and I hope that investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market will increase and the reduction in scam new projects
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 23, 2019, 01:11:33 AM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

There are several scam projects that are quite detailed in designing the scam. The current scam is sophisticated enough to fool people who are experienced in crypto and I think we need to be vigilant. With in-depth research and I think it would be better to invest in coins that are already listed on large exchangers because it will make it calmer
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 23, 2019, 01:07:54 AM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it

Agree with the decision to use $ 1000 to invest in Bitcoin and use the rest for altcoin. Choosing the wrong altcoin can result in losses and you should choose altcoin that is in the top 20 coinmarketcap because it is well known by the crypto community and has a large transaction volume
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: December 23, 2019, 01:04:37 AM
I just find out that some coins might start with very low volume and marketcap and end up growing big? true or false? i tracked back some old coins that start with trading volume around 6k and end up in millions, is this still possible today?

In my opinion, it could have happened. Some of the new projects that have just launched on the market must have a small transaction volume, but if you can register at a large exchanger, there will be an opportunity to get a large transaction volume which will ultimately affect the price
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Tips on securing our emails on: December 23, 2019, 01:00:56 AM
in fact the whole point of it all is that you don't have to publish your main email and separate it for different uses, I made another email specifically for bounty work because my email was published in their spreadsheets so many spammers will attack with unclear promotions or send dangerous links , so I always separate the main email from the email for my work in crypto as a bounty hunter, if it's done well everything will be safe, I activate 2fa sms and gmail code, I don't give my main mobile number to anyone, so this is where I look after it

Agree, use a different email for the bounty or to register with the exchanger. The most important thing is we have 2FA for our email because sometimes we store data in cloud storage that is connected to our email account
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Trust Libra Coin With Your Money? on: December 18, 2019, 01:24:31 AM
Facebook as the parent of Libra Coin is a big company and I think they will make various efforts to market Libra Coin. And if the Libra coin has been regulated by the Government, I think I will trust the Libra coin and be interested in investing or saving it as an asset
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin regulations and their future implications on: December 18, 2019, 01:21:08 AM
Governments (especially the US) have recently announced that they will be regulating stablecoins within the mainstream world. This has been a result of Facebook's Libra stablecoin announcement which has kept many governments worried about digital currencies taking over the existent financial infrastructure. If they start regulating stablecoins, you can expect the growth of the crypto industry to start slowing down at an unprecedented rate. These digital assets have been a safe-haven for many investors worldwide looking to protect their capital in crypto's volatile prices across the market.

Considering that the US is a country with strict regulations against crypto and Blockchain technology, they might become a headache for mainstream businesses and companies looking to provide stablecoin solutions for US customers. While crypto is in fact decentralized, it still depends on the government's approval to succeed within the mainstream world. Nobody would use something that is declared "illegal" despite being possible to use it regardless of imposed regulations from worldwide governments.

Do you think regulating stablecoins is a good idea? What are the future implications of stablecoin regulation? Huh

At present exchangers such as Binance already trade fiat money directly and I think this will change the stable coin in the future. Stable coins were originally made to facilitate transactions because banks forbid crypto transactions but if exchangers are able to directly trade fiat money with cryptocurrency, I think people will prefer this method because it is cheaper
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we buy new token or coin? on: December 18, 2019, 01:17:54 AM
Due to its unpredictable situation. We all are doing tread on alt coin. and looking for good return of investment. in this case, New coin are always plus point to make a good income. Sometimes this might not be happen like if the IEO price is high. so we have to choose new coin in different fact like the supply, its protocol, IEO price and so on. But new coin is a great option to get a good ROI.

Coins or tokens provide an opportunity to profit from trading. Investors will speculate on new coins because usually the market will be very active trading and this will result in high price movements. For some traders, this is profitable
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: December 18, 2019, 01:14:08 AM
Listing fees are quite high on top exchanges they are still charging hefty fees because I feel they can not lower their standards of listing criteria and there are some terms and conditions to follow to conduct IEOs. As we all know in this bearish market it's hard for any project to collect huge funds that's why it's not easy for them to list their coins on top exchanges due to high fees and I would like to say bitcoin is still strong and it is not losing its value its only a matter of time.

In my opinion, some large exchangers sometimes free up listing fees if the project is good. Binance has freed listing fees several times for several coins for several reasons and one of them is because of its large community.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Building Liquidity. on: December 17, 2019, 12:11:27 PM
If you intend to hold a signature campaign with the token condition already listed on the exchanger, I think the bounty hunter will be very enthusiastic about participating in the campaign. Airdop is also one of the attractors of interest so new investors want to invest and I think holding a bounty campaign is a good way to socialize tokens to the cryptocurrency community

Really? I think nowdays bounties are not too good idea to attract buyers/investors - there are many many hunters which got many accounts and spaming and are very annoying to normal users so they dont follow them. It make some crowd but investors doesnt use that channel because of big number of garbage projects.

What can make You attract to participate in UVU/BTC market - this could be interesting answer.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the bounty because it aims to market the project to many people. Many coins that have been listed in the market still bounty and this aims to attract new investors and increase the loyalty of old investors
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 17, 2019, 12:08:10 PM
as you requested, invest regardless of bitcoin? then you can invest with the highest altcoin on the market, at least you have the opportunity to get double profits if the market has improved.
Stellar (XLM) ...
Litecoin (LTC) ...
Ethereum (ETH) ...
Zcash (ZEC) ...
Dash (DASH) ...
NEO (NEO)
Binance (BNB)

they are altcoin which has great potential for investment in the future, they have a great team, a large community and many use it for investment as well. I personally have no doubt, if I have a lot of money and invest it in altcoin above.

I agree with the choice of altcoin. Besides having large daily transactions, the coins are traded in large exchangers so in my opinion the coins have good potential in the next few years. Especially for BNB Coin, I think this coin will be attractive next year
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 17, 2019, 12:04:16 PM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

Scammers will always look for opportunities to earn money in various ways. Halving might be one of them but in my opinion what needs to be watched out for is scammers that occur in new projects or ICO. Although IEO is an alternative, but if prices fall far below IEO prices, in my opinion this can be categorized as a scam
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deutsche Bank said Crypto will Replace Fiat Currencies by 2030! Really Possible? on: December 17, 2019, 12:01:05 PM
All also depends on the policy of the central government. If in Greece regulations have been applied using card payments / bank transfers 30% of monthly salary, this makes the use of paper money reduced and switch to the digital world.
The crypto and Fiat digital currency classes will certainly occur in the coming years because now more and more digital money is being used.

Agree, for payments and transactions I think the central bank will not be affected by cryptocurrency because the central bank has a hand that can regulate the economy. The use of crypto might be quite limited although I think crypto like Bitcoin can be used as digital assets like Gold
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 16, 2019, 12:29:55 PM
Everyone keeps pointing to trading as the best alternative to earning in this bear market but my past experience about trading was bad and now i am willing to give a try again, can any one give me good guide? don't just tell me to find strategy without giving me any, teach me how to fish

In my opinion, trading cannot be learned in a short time and it takes time to master a variety of analysis and profitable strategies. If you want to know a variety of technical analysis, I think there are many websites that provide that knowledge for free but we better choose one analysis that is suitable for ourselves
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook's Libra is being reviewed by the US government again on: December 16, 2019, 12:26:44 PM
After the Chinese Government began to regulate cryptocurrency, I think the American Government does not want to be left behind on this. If Libra coin is passed by the regulator, I think this will stimulate the crypto market again and maybe it will attract new investors.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 16, 2019, 12:23:29 PM
Now earnings in cryptocurrencies are very low due to bear market, people are more selling than buying, so there are not buyers for your earned tokens in bounty campaign. The best way how enlarge your porftolio is finding a good job and put earned money into crypto.  Cool
Aside from having bear markets we should also consider the failed and scam projects that's why some bounty hunter have hard time to earn good profit. Signature campaign is my only source income here but right now I focused on signature campaign who pay in bitcoin. Its hard to find a good job right now you need to have good skills in order to get a job. But, to all bounty hunters keep on joining in signature campaign until you hit the jackpot project where you will earn thousand dollars.

Amid the weakening of the cryptocurrency market, it is difficult to find good projects. There is indeed a good project but sometimes the allocation is minimal and I think it's only natural to avoid conflicts of interest with investors. To look for profit in the crypto market in the midst of current conditions, I think we need patience and I think we can see opportunities by buying good tokens or coins when prices are cheap like now
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: December 16, 2019, 12:20:16 PM
This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?

And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?

Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects
haha, you should be aware that non-potential projects will usually not be listed on large exchanges and you should know the rule of thumb in the marketplace, that there is never any free help here!
If Binance is pitiful for bad projects and always lists them to increase liquidity, then where will the honor and reputation that Binance has built up over the years go? You should only blame the project that you join is not potential and bad projects must be eliminated early, done.

Binance built a very good reputation and even compensated hacking customers and I think it is reasonable if Binance wants to maintain that good reputation by only listing projects that are promising for the development of the cryptocurrency market.
