Damn it, I made a school boy error, I pasted my VTR address instead of my XC address when sending 1000XC from bittrex.
Is there anyway of getting my XC back or are they stuck on they stuck in limbo forever, lol.

HD wallet is part of the upcoming major client release, which unfortunately will be hardfork and will requires all users and services to update to this new version as soon as it is released. It is no longer disabled on bittrex.
It is only disabled by dev.  Regarding the market being disabled, since VTR isn't exactly direct clone of Bitcoin, there were some unexpected compatibility issue with Bittrex coin management workflow and our latest client. This is different,
instead of most scamdevs, this dev has sunk in many hours.
He has put up with it for months, and had multiple chances to cash out and run.
The latter didn't happen.
He is just a very slow(busy) dev, which is also somewhat worrysome tbh.
Worries that the project will be forgotten before it is finished.
Lately a lot of piracy stories have made the news, this is the time to release(if the client was ready).
Message to the dev: Please focus all resources on the torrent implementation.
That is the primary objective, that is what makes or breaks this coin.
Window resizing, notifications , etc are all secondairy.
Torrent implementation has always been my main focus and first priority of this project, in fact, there are also a lot more going on in the background but I don't see the need of hyping or promoting the feature before everything is ready or at least come close to fruition. In my opinion, in order to have any success in having people outside crypto community to adapt and use our software or currency, there are a lot of issues that should be taking care of such as problem with slow blockchain syncing on every run or inadequate wallet security which tends to be overlooked. In parallel, I am also working on migrating core code of vTorrent to Bitcoin 0.10.x for headers-first synchronization and parallel blockchain download which should significantly improve blockchain synchronization time.
Unfortunately what the dev is trying to achieve is not possible /realistic...that's what he's been saying over IRC for the past few days and has now left the project for good. He said he would close the thread and provide a formal update to you all very soon! Just a friendly heads up. I don't like how this dev operates and I felt entitled to post this. Sorry Justin. By network protocol specification, VTR's Proof-of-stake interest is at 5% per year, but number of new VTR minted per year will also depends on the amount of VTR being staked in the network. 2. What happens when the max vtr limit is reached is this like Bitcoin? As of now, there is no hard coded maximum supply limit in VTR network protocol specification. 3. I am a crypto noob overall so sorry for dumb questions but does this currency gain interest as i leave it in the wallet or stake it? VTR holder could support the network and gain interest by staking based on any amount of VTR holding in their balance with minimum coin age of 6 hours in an unlocked running client. Stakers in Proof of Stake network is no different than Seeders which consider as backbone of the BitTorrent network. 4. what incentives will there be for people to hold VTR ? As of now with vTorrent project still in early stage, there are little to no incentive (apart from speculation) for holding VTR such as holding to gain interest. This is, however, should change dramatically once there are more features implement in our client, especially after torrents related features are implemented which also aim to fix BitTorrent network incentive to encourage peers to seed. 5. could people open their own VTR market pages? ... Having users to be able to share and trade content with each other is one of the feature in the works for our torrent implementation, it will most likely be build upon current massaging protocol in our client. speaking of torrents... any reason we shouldn't be able to download the blockchain (using the VTR client) in the same manor we would any other file using bitTorrent protocol? To allow super fast syncing? This seems to be a prevalent issue in the cryptosphere. Is the real problem here just not enough nodes? Or is it the manor in which the blockchain is transmitted and pieced back together?
As of Bitcoin Core version 0.10.0 or later, Bitcoin Core now uses ‘headers-first synchronization’. Which on initial sync, block headers will be first download from peer and when the headers have been validate, client will start downloading the blocks in parallel from all available peers which is very similar to how torrent works. Upgrading core code of vTorrent to 0.10.0 in next major version would be better solution for fast syncing. Thank you for your suggestion. Regards, vTorrent |

Is this the final fork of VTR (i mean there wont be any other forks after you finish the beta) ? So can I buy now VTR? You wont remake the coin later right?
There will be only one VTR, and in the future if there is any updates which requires hard fork, current chain of VTR will be move over. any alive pool for that coin??

If VTR succeeds it will make torrents invulnerable to takedowns.
But people torrenting will still be tracked down, so it is not the full solution.
You will still need a vpn service.
I guess that is why Mega build encryption into their uploads and therefore downloads....... so why can't you have VPN & torrent client capabilities built into vTorrent? A one stop shop! Other coins are adding VPN, why not vTorrent! I agree that rights holders are about to get much more vigorous prosecuting jo & jane citizen to create a deterrent effect, and when that happens people aren't going to feel good about paying for stuff they've been getting for free, especially under 30's who'll freak out if they were suddenly charged $30 for a CD, which is what I used to pay regularly in my younger days. Whoever offers a user friendly one-stop-shop that offers anon torrent downloading will seriously clean up. Might as well be vTorrent! edit: as an aside, IMO the only viable route for rights holders is to buy out ISP's on a global scale, then 'tax' everyone via their broadband charges. Like a VAT or GST charged on every MB downloaded, so digital content is given away free, but everyone pays a little bit for genuine distribution to copyright holders. Hello all, Unfortunately, ancientOne1 is right about this issue, I don't have any plan to prevent problem with ISP tracking down users downloading or uploading illegal content with torrent at this point, but when we have torrent implemented in our client, torrents should be invulnerable to takedowns. Keep in mind that any feature can be implement in the future, there will likely be many more functions add to our client to improve functionalities and not limited to torrents. does anyone know how many coins in circulation
Number of coins in circulation (total supply) including market cap along with other information in realtime can be found on Dashboard of the new client. There is also estimated value of the total of coins holding in the client also in realtime provided in both Bitcoin and US Dollars. I plan to add support for other FIAT currency in later version of the client. Please check the screenshot below. Do you have to spend vtr to send a message that gets build into the chain as a comment?
Hello mikerbiker6, In our new client, we have both 'instant messaging' like secure messaging which requires no need to send or spend VTR to send a message and the one close to your understanding, short message or narration within transaction. Below is the example of sending short message with your transaction.  To send, enter your short message in Narration field (max 24 characters) Transactions with Narration or short message attached will have yellow envelope icon next to the transaction, place your mouse over the icon to read the message.
