I've just selected the Do Nothing option but stay with my opinion and options of earlier.
If CBX changes it's course and change into a new coin/chain and with that devalidating the cryptsy coins I will be leaving the CBX team.
I simply do not want to have any responsibility in this action and do not support it.
CBX is going to continue, regardless of what option is taken. Almost 1 million CBX exist, PoSP is running, CBX is traded on a couple of exchanges, etc. The Cryptsy coins are a part of this network and will continue to be. No coins in this network will be invalidated. However, as you have voiced, you have the freedom of choice to join or leave this network as do all others. What is being discussed as an option is starting a new coin forked from CBX where all existing address balances are duplicated sans the Cryptsy wallet. This would be a different coin and it would be up to the individual to decide if they support one, the other or both. Personally I will support all that this team works on, CBX, SPK/Quintessence, CBX2, etc. Sad to hear your decision |

The coins officially belong to the claimants of cryptsy. I don't think it's right to just destroy them even though it represents a relatively small value.
Please vote then, this is an excellent point. Is Cryptsy intending to return them to their rightful owners? This would be critical info... |

CBX was to be the high income counterpart of SPK - as of now SPK will give 10% in staking rewards while CBX pays only 2%, therefore CBX cannot be the high-reward counterpart, as it pays less.
I am unclear on the parameters of SPK but curious if in fact CBX will pay less or is it really a wash when you factor inflation? 10% reward with 10% inflation is essentially equivalent to 2% reward with 2% inflation. Not sure what I am overlooking here... The inflation is a result of the rewards, but with PoSP your personal reward rate (interest) is always higher than global inflation rate, for those who choose to participate. SPK tokens will benefit from PoSP, therefore a 10% global inflation will mean much higher personal returns (15% - 25%ish) only in the first year - depending how many people participate in the network. At that rate, I anticipate that the network participation rate will be high, with fewer SPK left inactive sleeping at exchanges. I agree with this logic. That having been agreed, would not following this line of thought further result in the conclusion that CBX would have a very attractive potential to be a lower inflationary storage of wealth that could also provide potentially higher PoSP rewards than SPK itself (reward vs inflation) resultant of the rush of all SPK holders to capitalize on the high initial interest rate - thereby reducing the 15-25% projected through PoSP? Sounds to me like this would be a very compelling sales point to attracting a wider range of investors to the Quintessence network. Investors like to have opportunities to manage their portfolios to outperform the status quo, why not include such an option as initially intended? Just a suggestion for consideration. |

no premine launched ages ago solid network null inflation clean code nice website perhaps the most under valued POS BUT "Integrate CBX to a new, better, more equitable Crypto 2.0 blockchain" utter BS!  you can spin off all you like but SWAPs are scammy mkay  I have to agree and what happened to "focus on CBX"? CBX devs appear to have been busy with a new PoSP coin called PSB?  PSB is a different development team although there has been some collaboration. |

why is this coin of such age and prestige not even at bittrex?
It was there at one point, but was removed because of lack of volume This coin was one of the trading leaders during early days of Cryptsy. Bittrex was a new exchange that came on the scene and listed CBX, however, Cryptsy was far bigger at that time and remained the preferred exchange for CBX traders. This resulted in Bittrex delisting CBX. Cryptsy then began to have liquidity issues and Bittrex and other alt exchanges took over the market share as Cryptsy died. Since that point a major exchange has yet to pick up CBX... That's not good I remember this coin being the main darling with digicoin and world coin back in 2013 I was shocked to see its MC and the fact it is not even on bittrex or even polo. Crazy when you see some of the trash on these exchanges. CBX on polo would be a good step. I mean you guys invented POSp and I see many new coins swapping to this. This advancement alone invented by you guys should warrant a listing on polo. I would seriously recommend your dev seeks contact with the owner of that exchange. He does not give credit to volume alone he is quite often impressed by inovation and developer dedication and skill. Perhaps your next innovation make a little more difficult to copy as other coins do... so you can stay more " special" Thank you for the feedback and compliments. Listing on other exchanges is something that has to come from the community, the dev team has made numerous pushes but in the end exchanges will listen to their clients so there doesn't seem to be much we can do about it. Regarding tech, point noted, however we are big believers in open source and although this creates issues of cloning, the benefits of making it a collaborative project are more important imo. |
