Try using Sapphire trixx to adjust the 5850.  I have one computer running a 5870, 5970 (2 cores), & 6950.  The 6950 starts out like your 5850 with just cgminer, I installed trixx since I use it on the other computers and I was able to adjust it up.  Also just had an issue with the 5870 where cgminer wouldn't show the changes I made even though they were being applied (as reported by trixx)

Do you still have any of these?  How much for US shipped?

Has anyone ordered from here actually received what they ordered? Just curious what their track record is so far

They are back from maintenance, however...   Their entire stock of everything is currently unavailable.  Hopefully they get the bugs in their site worked out.  I would like to order from them.

I can't run either version reliably.  11.8 makes both cards invisible after one reboot to guiminer.  And 11.7 made it very dificult to reboot my computer after a crash in order to remove the drivers and re install 11.7

I use Tight VNC on my 3 setups.  It allows me to control my computers from anywhere with my Android phone.  Unless, like today, one of the computers crashes because the 11.7 drivers are shit.  Went back to the 11.6 drivers as the 11.8 drivers were even worse

Need to get Walmart to accept btc and resell the ones they get.  They could accept then online for purchases and giftcards (so you wouldn't have to wait for confirmations for your purchases in store)

Running a Epox EP-9npa3  ultra board has one 16x slot and 2 1x slots.  Can't get 2nd card to work at all  in either 1x slot.  Have tried powered and non powered extenders and have attempted shorting pin a1 & b17.  My question is, since I have no hair left to pull out, What do most people use to short those pins and what is the best place to insert the shorting wire (seems  to be a tight area and hard to get wires in there at all)

Was in slush for a while,  but got very frustrated with the large number of invalid shares they were getting at the time (1-2 a day) and the inconsistent payout.  Also waiting a day for my payout to be validated was a pain

Been reading these forums about a month now, don't know why I haven't registered before now...  I live in Michigan and have 3 rigs mining at about 1.46 Ghash.  Would have been more, but I had to RMA a 6970 and then they didn't have a replacement card for me @ newegg.  Been working on planning my next rig, but need the approval of the boss (wife)  to spend the $1400 I want to spend.  She is okay with it once I get the last set paid for.
