42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: October 29, 2017, 02:20:54 PM
I think blockchain.info is now supporting ethereum and thats a very trusted wallet for Bitcoin
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does alt coins work? on: October 29, 2017, 02:20:00 PM
Alt coins are created and the users who adopt them mine them. Airdrops are basically premined coins which are distributed to the community to peak interest.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet easy to use? on: October 29, 2017, 02:18:04 PM
if you don't mind using web services then blockchain.info is very useful for bitcoin and eth.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 29, 2017, 02:17:29 PM
Dether and mobius have some potential of earning some money and converting it back to another more stable coin.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash - why up on: October 29, 2017, 02:16:44 PM
I think this is the year most of people get to know about bit coins and start investing on it.. It may be the main reason.. This can be this year buble too..

Maybe but Bitcoin cash is separate to Bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is likely just a pump and dump coin and it will be forgotten about in a year.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining with mobile device on: October 29, 2017, 02:15:34 PM
Not in Bitcoin. Maybe some alt coins have difficulty which a mobile device could mine but then you would require a client from them.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is basically a stock that allows you to purchase things on: October 29, 2017, 02:14:48 PM
If we use Bitcoin directly without converting to Fiat or paying through payment processors, then Bitcoin will be recognized

more as a currency. The speculative nature and the volatility has made this more of a commodity than a currency, which is

actually sad. The scaling problems and the high fees, did not help our cause to get Bitcoin recognized as a currency.  Angry

I think this is the biggest problem right now the people who are investing in it aren't interested in using Bitcoin itself but all about converting it back to fiat and treating it as an investment rather than the currency it is.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 29, 2017, 02:10:09 PM
I think the biggest disadvantage Bitcoin does have is fees you see it everywhere now days but a lot of people are complaining specifically about sending smaller amounts of coins and having to pay a fee which is higher than what they want to send.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 02:09:11 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
I think there some bank who already accept bitcoin and I think they accept it to make more funds. Its very rare to find bank who accept bitcoin and I think it has big impact in bitcoin community because they could a place where they could put there bitcoin. I hope all bank will accept bitcoin.

How would a bank benefit from using Bitcoin? Bitcoin is unstable and what banks do is offer interest by gambling/investing with the money that they are given.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Satoshi question: What if on: October 29, 2017, 02:08:20 PM
I'm not sure on the long term affect but if Satoshi was to move his coins anywhere it would cause a mass panic and the price would be hit pretty hard.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World govts fear Bitcoin because they can’t tax it – John McAfee on: October 29, 2017, 02:07:30 PM
Exactly they can't tax or regulate it therefore have no control over Bitcoin which means they can't abuse the system like they do in fiat.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries developing their own Cryptos on: October 29, 2017, 02:06:43 PM
I think not only countries but a number of different companies will try to make their own currencies in theory amazon has already does this with amazon coins which can be spent on digital goods.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin Core ? on: October 29, 2017, 01:26:27 PM
Bitcoin core is popular due to it being one of the most recommended for people wanting to host a full Bitcoin node.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: October 29, 2017, 01:25:01 PM
Betwwen many other things, this is why bitcoin has appeared on the market, to prevent the reversal of the transactions. I am a scientist and although I do not understand many of the technical aspects of the bitcoin network, I know suffieicnt Mathematics to read the original article of Satoshi that made the bitcoin possible.
This article is not complicated, and between other things it says that it was necessary a new currency to prevent the reversals of the transactions.

Exactly why I believe Bitcoin is going to be used all over in online stores because it protects the seller from chargebacks too. I think too many sites out there like ebay protect the buyer more than the seller.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support Bitcoin Forks? Why??? on: October 29, 2017, 01:20:26 PM
Bitcoin forks are needed to make the currency better and improve on its shortcomings but I do not support bitcoin gold or cash
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 500 Million People Are Unknowingly Mining Cryptos on: October 29, 2017, 01:19:33 PM
Just disable javascript on untrusted websites it can be a pain to navigate sometimes but it needs to be done to stop this sort of thing
58  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1 Year Anniversary @bitcointalk, $600+ to $6000+ on: October 29, 2017, 01:18:51 PM
great foresight! I started when BTC was at $3800. should have listen to friends advises and started earlier!

People all over thinking the same imagine being one of the first adopters and actually owning a good amount of coins only to delete them or lose them. I regret not investing when I first started and it was at $1200 then
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoins for Dummies on: October 29, 2017, 01:13:08 PM
Dear Bitcoin Friends,

I just started and bought some cryptocurrency. I wonder why BTC should be chosen above other cc's as XRP of ETH. Is is better to spread my 'real' money over few cc's or should i buy BTC only?

Bitcoin simply has better news coverage because it's bigger and more used so the price will continue to go up just because of these factors whilst alt coins struggle to get any coverage at all.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: October 29, 2017, 01:10:59 PM
This is a good news! To hear of establishments accepting bitcoin, only goes to show the positive acceptance of country to bitcoin transactions. It is a sign that bitcoin as a digital currency will stay in digital world and is stable if more people will utilize it. The higher the demand the longer and stronger it will stay. I hope someday it will happen also in my country.

I think with schools taking an interest in bitcoin now they could potentially use the blockchain to their advantage and improve the way their records are stored.
