I'm currently using MEW for my coins and upon reading the response from this thread I was surprised that MEW is not the only wallet for ETH (This means that I still need more research in this field Smiley ). Thanks for creating this thread since I learned a lot. Well I think MEW is safe since you have a private key and you just need to keep it in a safe place.

Best wallet is a hardware wallet or offline generated paper wallet. Buy a Ledger Nano S or a Trezor. Worth the sound sleep

Agree. I use MEW paper wallet as many of other over here. Just print out paper wallet  and keep in a safe place. I wish I had Nano S. Smiley

I think the most popular wallet is https://www.myetherwallet.com/ and I use it myself since joining in this con, you just need to save the password, private key and one file you downloaded in the process of making it.
Myetherwallet also supports all your tokens based on ethereum (ERC20) and and in this wallet you can send and receive different tokens.

Myetherwallet.com would be a good site to store for your Ethereum but just be careful and check the site always or if not, just bookmark the website to be sure your are logging in to the correct site because there are a lot phishing site especially this site. My friend just lost her Ethereum because she thought she was logging in to the original site and lost around 5 btc worth of Ethereum.

I'm using MyEtherWallet to collect the tokens from the bounty campaign I'm following,
but to save Ethereum token exchange results, I use Blockchain.info, I think it's safer ..

Too many scammers in these days have created the same site with myetherwallet to fool a lot of people to put their private key on the fake site. But that may better for you to try to use the eidoo wallet. You can try to secure your ethereum safely in your smartphone with very high security and I suggest you try that. And another good way to store your ethereum in the official wallet just like symphony wallet.
This is my suggestion for you.

I use Exodus. It has beautiful design and user friendly interface.
Unfortunately it is available only on the desktop (not mobile version yet). but I spent the most time at the PC, so it is very suitable for me.

all of my friends that has ethereum is storing their wallet in myetherwallet and so that i also use this wallet because this is much easier and secure. you just need the private key and after you can see the address and the ethereum amount you have.
