New bminer out, experimental support for Cuckatoo31 on the 1080Ti's

Haven't tried it myself (only have a 1080) but Bob, wanna give it a shot?

https://grin-pool.org is utter shit for me.

Submitting WAY MORE shares on f2pool compared to grin-pool - It's not even funny.

Will wait for the next payout @ 3 GRIN on f2pool and probably quit this shit for good.

Fucking altcoins.

* BobLawblaw grumbles in Theymos' general direction... again... Wink

Absolute dog shit for me too!

Yep I've just switched over to grin-pool too, so far so good

I'm also on Grinmint, what's the general consensus? Good pool or not? What are most others using?
45  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: January 26, 2019, 11:12:14 PM
The syntax you need to add is

--gekko-newpac-freq 175

The 175 being the clock speed, so just alter that in 25MHz increments.... ie --gekko-newpac-freq 200 to get your desired speed

FWIW, have been using bminer 13.2 for a few hours now, and the rejects have been significantly reduced.

Have also found this to be the case!

Any news about this pool? I miss mining on it Sad

If I hadn't just bought a Sipolar one a month ago I'd be all over this, I love it! Especially the 12v fan header!

Top notch stuff as always!
49  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 29, 2018, 09:30:21 AM
OK, So after 24hr-ish hours on the new Sipolar 10 port I am still getting "Missing Nonces" and "Toggling ASIC nRST reset" to the point that I was averaged just 114Gh.s with 4 NewPacs @ 200MHz and 860mV settings on CKPool. I was really hoping the bump in power would resolve this as suggested.

I even had it solely connected to a hotspot that had 5 bars while sitting on top of a Wilson Weboost to see if it was Hughesnet that was causing the "missing nonces".
I honestly have no idea what exactly nonces are but thought I should test the network and a possible cause of the being "missing".

I know I am not the only one getting these results but I am curious how others have theirs set up who are not having these issues.

It would be nice to get some kind of resolution as I still have more of these on the way and another batch to order after the holidays.

Just got the same 10 port today too... working fine for me after about 3 hours of testing. If anything changes I'll let you know Smiley

Still slower than t-rex and CD...

Then use them? Stop coming here and complaining

You and me both, man. However, this time last fall my entire crew (including a fresh hire brought in specifically to meet demand) were up to our eyeballs getting 2pacs out the door. Seriously, we doubled manufacturing output between September and November; the three weeks following Thanksgiving, my people put together more sticks than we did in August and September combined and still had a one-month backlog. I had exactly zero time to start working on anything new until earlier this year.

Demand has slowed now, and my crew can pretty much do everything without me (unless something goes wrong), so I finally have that R&D time. Even so, these sticks were released several months later than desired.

They're here now and that's all that matters. Onto bigger and better things from here!

Just placed the same order myself!
53  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 17, 2018, 09:18:20 PM
Thanks guys, I'll look into one of them! I'm currently hacking up a hub I've got laying around just to get the sticks up and running in the meantime but they look like a proper solution. Look like nice build quality too!
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 17, 2018, 09:42:39 AM
Thanks for the advice!

Anyone got a pic of what position it looks like at stock voltage? I'm just interested to know if mine has been fiddled with

Came home today to try to fiddle with voltage only to find the hashing speed very low... like 900M or so. Upon closing cgminer and restarting it shoots back up to target hashing speed again for 30-60 second then the same crash in speed again. It wasn't doing this before either. I've tried increasing voltage as suggested but the same issue. Now I'm wondering if it's my hub, although my Compacs are doing just fine. Any suggestions here before I start chasing shadows

EDIT: Just tried the Newpac directly into a USB port on the system itself... seems totally fine. So looks like I've got a dicky USB hub.
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 16, 2018, 11:41:49 PM
So try bumping up the voltage a little? Clock wise, quarter of a turn?
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: November 16, 2018, 07:39:48 AM
I notice they drop hash rate to below 1g periodically, display "missing nonces, Toggling ASIC nRST to reset"

I am getting this a lot as well, any ideas?
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Innosilicon Terminator 3 on: November 07, 2018, 11:47:32 AM
Any specs, price or hash wise?
58  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: November 05, 2018, 10:52:26 PM
I know he's got  good rep, just thought something might be up on his end. No matter anyway, he's just gotten in touch with me now Smiley
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: November 05, 2018, 07:29:23 PM
he sent mine last week

Hope everything is ok then, just a little worried now
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: November 05, 2018, 01:15:13 AM
Anyone heard from CrazyGuy? I ordered over a week ago now, still no movement on my order and I can't get in touch either. Sent messages/emails and nothing. Hope all is ok on their end
