looks like you have just to replace some pcie power conectors.. just unsolder the burned ones, and replace them by new ones ,an hot air soldier station can do the job , with just a bit of patience ...
They must have burnt for a reason. It may not be as easy as replacing the connectors, there may be damaged components inside... Agreed..you never know what got fried on the board, the connectors are just the tip of the iceberg. Too bad spons doesn't care about their customers anymore, forget trying to get any decent warranty service on these. |

Huh? Avatars and signatures are completely different things. Avatars were disabled for a long time on the forum because there was a hack in the code that was being exploited. They got turned back on again a few weeks ago and we were able to setup avatars again. No biggie. Anyone can do it, got to your profile and then forum profile information, and from there there is a link to set your avatar if you want to. I think that you are incorrect. There is apparently an avatar campaign, that's why some folks avatars keep changing. I think that there is an avatar signature campaign. Not yet, but I'm sure there will be eventually - whether that'll be allowed is another matter. see above You guys need thicker tin foil  How can you say there is a "apparently an avatar campaign" from someone saying "not yet" LOL Anyway even if someone thinks there will be one eventually, I don't see how there can be a very effective campaign other than a branding one because you can't have any html in your avatar so you can't click through to it, and its limited to only png, jpg or gif. So you could have a fancy animated logo for some company sponsor but no way to track clickthru's etc. why it matters that someone says "not yet" when the fact is that there is one. Just go to Services and see if you can believe your "lying" eyes or not. Besides, i don't think that an avatar campaign rises to tin foil status, regardless. On a more relevant note, I am happy with my Sp20E-working pretty good for a few months already. Endless tinkering with settings provides "mining" satisfaction. I stand corrected that there is indeed one, but I stand by what I said that its not going to be very effective. And people will probably waste their time with it. Either way it has nothing to do with Roadstress' question. This is the first and only Avatar I've had. I find it odd. They were very very active and supportive. What is the nature of what you are needing done? I hope to see them come back to where they were on forums every day posting. But maybe they have shifted all focus on next gen. They WERE, it is true! I have been waiting for an SP20E board to be replaced for over a month. at first it was sent out late and arrived on April 1st DEAD. support@ apologised and said it would be sorted immediately. days later i was told i must contact zvi first - because the board 'cant be dead' i contacted zvi, he agreed it needed repairing/replacing barbara disagreed, for weeks!! then after i started reporting here, she re-agreed. "send the board back, it will save time" - done.... weeks later - 'send the rig back, it will save time & we will ship you a fully tested 'new machine''' - done... days later, silence. Multiple ignored emails, 980 hrs downtime!! It sounds like Barbara needs to go, clearly not technical and causing undue pain to customers. Maybe spons should hire some more technical support staff. Sorry for your pain, mate. |

And I really learned a lot of the other assets, which I will most likely not follow. I learned about statistics, how to see it and how it is advertised, ... short a lots I learned. I see an investor also a business partner, but sure not as a client. You can sell your asset anytime to anybody you like. That is what the asset exchange page is for. There is no buy-back option, since also the shop does not give me this for the hard disks.

FYI to anyone holding any of ByteEnterprises' assets. IF AT ANY TIME you don't want to hold the asset anymore, I'll buy it back from you at the price you paid for it. Any day, any hour, any time. I have such confidence in my company and the assets we're setting up, and my ability to make these assets continue to grow, that I would consider it a bargain to buy back any of my assets at the original sales price.
This is how you run a company, elmit, this is how you support your investors and speak to your clients.
Any time there is an issue I post an announcement. Any time anyone has a question I answer it DIRECTLY, or find someone who can in the case of development issues (since I don't do like you do, and pretend I'm a developer.) I pay a competent team (extremely competent, sometimes they make me feel stupid. lol.) to help me with my projects, because I know that projects the size I want to accomplish, take MORE THAN ONE PERSON, let alone one clear idiot as yourself.
I'm frankly tired of your scammy assets, scammy pool, and general shit attitude and question dodging of the LONG STANDING COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF BURST.
You are unwanted here, and frankly if I had the power, I would BAN YOU FROM EVERYTHING REGARDING BURST. All people like you do for a community is tarnish its reputation, and cause people to lose trust in it.

I run a company worthy of respect, not because I don't do anything, but because I work hard for my clients, I value my investors, and I am transparent with everything that I do. IF there is a problem, I tell you, if there ever were to be a HUGE problem that was unrecoverable, I would compensate everyone for it and stop it.
In my opinion, your pool AND NOW YOUR ASSET AS WELL, are complete garbage, and you should pay people what they're owed and STOP THEM.
But I know that you won't, and it is really shitty to know that.
