POW has ended and we wound up with just over 400k coins in the money supply.

Block explorer will be up today.

Have been thinking of names for the BananaBits casino.  So far came up with House of Bananas, and The Banana Cabana.  Curious what ideas you guys might have.

Someone buy me a masternode so I can try this one click thing out  Wink

It works! although it is actually two clicks. One for the setup and one to start it. I guess we were scammed  Grin

You don't have to click to start it!  You just have to wait for 7 confirms Wink

Now working after a few wallet restarts and starting node again.
Just not sure if it is going to stop after a few hours like the last few times.

Would reservebalance 5000 command in console work the same?
Not necessarily, as that will set an amount, but not specific inputs.  If you had 10,000+ NANAS for instance, it might reserve a different set of inputs.

I've added the 32-bit Windows wallet link to the original post.

Another MN question:
How come sometimes I see zero, one, or 8 masternodes?
How come my masternode constantly needs restarting with
the one click? (And I am not behind a VPN) Even put in a config?
You need to put staking=0 in your .conf, it is probably staking your banana tree coins.  I am going to make a code update so that it disables staking automatically if you have a local banana tree defined.  As far as the 0, 1, or 8 banana trees showing up, you need to make sure you have good connectivity to the network for good propagation, as the way masternodes work it is dependent on a pinging system where each banana tree announces itself periodically.

Dev can you share your plans about this coin?
Is the one click masternode the only reason for mining this coin?
Yes.  No, 1 click is not the only reason.   Grin

Why in the wallet does it say mined some number, but the net if only 7.5?  Why doesn't it only say 7.5?
Because the QT gui code that creates that display amount doesn't fully break down both sides of a transaction (debits and credits) and pull out only the inputs/outputs that pertain to addresses you own.  And it is not trivial to make it do so (which is probably why it doesn't yet...somebody has to figure out how so that it is accurate).

What is the difference between a local tree and the create?  For an IP is it looking for my external IP and what port should be used?
Local banana tree auto-configures everything for you.

The old school Create would be used if like you put the daemon up on a VPS, you would put the ip and port of the VPS in, send the coins to the local address made for that instance, then click start to remotely start the banana tree on the vps.

Remember to put staking=0 in your .conf.

yeah don't mind the kid with his lmaos and lols in every single post, he's becoming more annoying by the minute.

Any input on my problem dev?

on the one click setup i get the following message "The local external IP is not yet detected. Please try again in a few minutes."

Dev: help.

The wallet needs to know your external IP.  I helped someone yesterday who had this issue on an Amazon VPS.  If you run getinfo from the RPC console and only see 0.0.0.0 and it doesn't detect after a few minutes, you can put externalip=100.200.300.400 in your bananabits.conf file and specify your external ip and then it will work.

Seems 5-10 new coins launch daily. Wonder when it ends?
It'll end when people quit selling copy/paste clones for dirt cheap to people lmao I've seen marketplace ads selling complete coins for like 0.15 BTC or some shiat!! So realistically anyone can launch a coin nowadays.  And if you are someone who has a good bankroll going I'm guessing you could easily launch 2 or 3 coins every couple days.  I dunno but the fact that most nowadays don't even try to put any effort into their coins is kind of depressing if you ask me Smiley but you just got to go with the flow Wink by the way did anyone try the 1 click masternode thing? I was really curious about if it worked alright or not.
Dude you need to chill on the FUD man.  The 1 click masternodes do work and there are a number of Banana Trees running now.  Too many pure clone coins and virus coins lately.  BananaBits is something cool to mine with a good feature.

Anyone virus scan this wallet yet to make sure we are safe to download it and run it? Let me know I'd love to see if the one cllick masternode set up works as easily as they claim because that would be very nice feature for lots of people who have always had trouble setting up their masternodes I know that much Smiley
I'll let a 3rd party from the community post up virus results.  Should be clean.

Actually setting up a masternode seems to be the single biggest struggle people have been having with recent coins, so we made an easy button Cheesy  We also tested it before release.  Wink

BananaBits is a Scrypt digital currency.  Scrypt was chosen as it forms great communities, is efficient, and has a diverse group of miners from owners of personal gridseed to larger miners.

BananaBits features a limited coin supply, dynamic POS distribution phase, and a sane 0.5 coin per block ongoing flat stake reward that will reward stakers while keeping a good balance on inflation.
