What is the difference between a local tree and the create?  For an IP is it looking for my external IP and what port should be used?

Local banana tree auto-configures everything for you.

The old school Create would be used if like you put the daemon up on a VPS, you would put the ip and port of the VPS in, send the coins to the local address made for that instance, then click start to remotely start the banana tree on the vps.

Remember to put staking=0 in your .conf.

Dev can you share your plans about this coin?
Is the one click masternode the only reason for mining this coin?

Dev please add to the OP

That's good news, always wanted to try your exchange. Let's see if the coin will get more attention than it did on YoBit.

Why in the wallet does it say mined some number, but the net if only 7.5?  Why doesn't it only say 7.5?

Because the QT gui code that creates that display amount doesn't fully break down both sides of a transaction (debits and credits) and pull out only the inputs/outputs that pertain to addresses you own.  And it is not trivial to make it do so (which is probably why it doesn't yet...somebody has to figure out how so that it is accurate).

Yes.  No, 1 click is not the only reason.   Grin

Another MN question:
How come sometimes I see zero, one, or 8 masternodes?
How come my masternode constantly needs restarting with
the one click? (And I am not behind a VPN) Even put in a config?

You need to put staking=0 in your .conf, it is probably staking your banana tree coins.  I am going to make a code update so that it disables staking automatically if you have a local banana tree defined.  As far as the 0, 1, or 8 banana trees showing up, you need to make sure you have good connectivity to the network for good propagation, as the way masternodes work it is dependent on a pinging system where each banana tree announces itself periodically.

Yeah I already tried that, and start the wallet with -server so I know it is reading the bananabits.conf. Still seems to stake coins???
