No it wasn't. Yes they did say they were testing the network BUT they said receive free Lisk. NOWHERE on the site does it state you will not be receiving actual coins. Stating "testing" is going on, does not imply that. It was never clearly stated that these were not free coins.

I was mining this all the time without interruptions, but I am nowhere near that.. How many machines did you use? Vps or spare PCs? Hi C.A.T. users. I will try to release a BETA 3.8 During the next 3-4 days. In that version there will be https://www.cryptomic.com/ API. But i need to organize the official release with the Exchange DEV, so, the API Activation process could delay some days more..... I've got to ask....why? Why not add an exchange like Coinbase where people may actually purchase the license? I hope their API is a little more reliable than their website... |

I have been a BitShares witness for the past 2 years, and have developed the bts_tools ( http://bts-tools.readthedocs.org/en/latest/ and https://github.com/wackou/bts_tools), a suite of python tools to help build, run and monitor witnesses on a graphene chain. It already supports BTS2 and Muse, and I plan to port it to Steem too. This of course means that I'm interested in running for a Steem witness when the DPOS phase kicks in I started mining steem this weekend and read up a bit on it, looks intriguing! Just came across your post, looks like you've created some great tools. I look forward to being able to use them for STEEM in the future.  |

Guys, do you know, whether it's necessary to have different private keys for each miner, if I am mining on 1 machine on multiple threads?
They say - no. So if there is no bug in the code, then you can mine with the same privkey on same machine with multiple miners. I have had no issues with this myself. |
