41  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Asics + 4G internet / Is this working? on: September 03, 2021, 08:21:27 AM
Yes this was my point, I'm not sure latency will work.
BTW with a 5G instead of 4G, would latency be better? (I know it's a noob question, but I usually got internet with fiber or wired phone)
5G was meant to be faster and better than 4G network, I remember when 3G was the faster years back in my country when 4G was introduced I saw a bigger noticeable difference in hashing Milli second, I have less rejected shares as well, I believe 5G will perform way better with lower latency

If there is a cell tower close by there should not be much latency problem,  would be almost same as WIFI.

I've been running some years on 4G and never had troubles whit connection, tought i had a Cell Tower just on top of me, but the towers are mostly everywere now days.

Packages of information are so small that they wont get stuck either whit like 100-200ms or abit higher.

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do miners get transaction fees on: September 03, 2021, 07:11:44 AM
The transaction fee goes back to the chain and block.

A miner will get rewards of this " fee " when hitting a block.

In the end the fees are used as recycling system so there is always something to mine and chain won't die.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Tahiti GPUs (Radeon 7950 / 7970 / 280X / 7990 ) Owners Appreciation Thread on: September 02, 2021, 05:56:28 PM
I have a rig with one RX 550 4 GB, one HD 7950 3 GB and one R9 290 4 GB. All mine ETC 59 MH/s @ 398 W at the wall (measured with power meter).

Also it's an 850 W PSU, only bronze rated.

RX 550: 11.35 MH/s
HD7950: 24.46 MH/s
R9 290: 23.13 MH/s

I'm trying to buy older AMD cards because they are really cheap and still profitable, if you known how to config them.

Weird that HD7950 is higher than R9 290, i think it should be close to 28-30Mh/s
R9 290 will give you a lot of hashrate, but it's very hard to find these cards in good condition.
Video cards HD7950, HD7970 (R9 280), R9 290 are very hot and they had a lot of overheating problems. When the 3XX series appeared, it helped a lot to solve overheating problems for miners.

Didnt know this cards were hashing that much, thanks for the tip! i sold my 7990r and finding replacements now Smiley

A single miner on a standard stratum pool does roughly 15MBytes a day per pool connection.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg41861265#msg41861265

I also log all internet I/O a miner of mine does at home and it is always close to this per day.

Tiny compared to probably anything else you ever do on the internet.

Up vs Down of that 15MBytes: similar
Up is about 48% i.e. down is about 52%

15 Megabytes a day sounds very reasonable, thanks a lot!
BTC full nodes however, damn, I seed like hundreds of GB a month at home, I saw recently..  Grin

Yes, 3GB internet on a prepaid card is more than enough.

Overthinking situations of your life or events can bring up type of worries that you are not prepared to process.
When you deny this processes the body will react making you feel and think things that are not processes , supressing this feelings will evolve and surge as "depression" were your physical body will react involuntary to your toughts, making "sick" or "depressed".

Sometimes we need to look at us into the mirror and process our defects, accepting your self and caring for your self.

Whether right or wrong, we face the pandemic and it is happening in many countries. Related to the vaccines, people just follow what their governments suggest. In some countries, if people do not follow the suggestion, they can not feel free in the public area because when we want to go to someplace and it is far from our city, we need to have a letter that we already get the vaccine. If they do not have that letter, they can not go to the other place. People just hope that they will be okay after they are vaccinated and not have a health problem in the future.

Ofcourse we all hope to be better soon!

As the old fokes said : "A sick man who eats won't die"

Eating healthier can help the body recover faster.

Remember that the shot and it's side effects are responsability of the taker , you are agreeing to it voluntarly and anything that happens to you is only you to blame. health is not to be played with!.

I don't know man, in my country more than 70% took the vaccine and the mass death from the vaccine didn't come. In my family everybody got the vaccine, from AstraZeneca, Pfizer to Johnson&Johnson we tried all and everybody is fine, nobody had any sever side effects. You feel bad for one day but it goes away very fast. And now we don't have to do all these annoying covid test anymore, I find it a good thing to get some kind of normal life back.

AstraZeneca actually got stopped in many countries, specially here in sweden because of nurses and hospital employers getting sick to the point were they could die .

The initial information is that you will get sick as you are introducing the "virus" into your system , there is also lots of information regarding the long term consequencees like fertiliy problems, cancer incresment and other type of health problem that it can bring.

One thing for sure is that a weak body have a higher probability to get some type of second hand problem.

It is first time that the syntetic Mrna2 is tested on mass population even the inventor said and explained that it was not safe .

But as you say, it is to every individual and responsability.

I think that a natural inmune system is far better than being an experiment.

In the end if the person is weak he will suffer whit or whitout any vaccine.

somehow it is Survival of the fittest .

You can use Localbitcoins to find a seller that can meetup and use cash .

It is the safest way to avoid any type of control.

It is sad to see many crypto fanatics running to get a shot.

Meanwhile it's been proven that the "pandemic" has less mortality than the yearly swine flu, bird flu etc...

Feels like many get stuck on this double moral/hypocrite "fighting the system" crap, yet they are there following the herd to get shot whit the "sickness" it self.

Meanwhile in china they are using the situation to implement their totalirism.
Aswell in many countries in South America.
Yet we have not heard much from India.

Europe has not Aproved the Vaccine ,there was only 1 month momentary permission and it has been past due.
Finland is rejecting all sorts of Vaccination.

It is wierd that after Vaccinations begun there were popping "New" strings of the virus , it kinda came from the shot ? LOL.

The Vaccionation is tied to 50% increased Cancer probability and lot of other sickness.

Most of people in hospitals are the ones that took the shot.

Think twice before you take shit.

Hi!
Sorry for posting in English. My Swedish works fine for reading, so feel free to comment in Swedish Smiley.
I was wondering if someone can give me some more detailed insights in how mining is taxed in Sweden from a private or company perspective.
I understood so far that small scale mining is seen as "inkomster från hobbyverksamhet" similar to selling honey etc.
I have some questions that I did not completely understand.

Is is possible to measure the electricity the miner uses and deduct that from the revenue?
Do I calculate the tax when I receive the mining reward or when I sell it?
Does the tax depend on the tax of my regular income (30%/50% etc)?

Is there any advantage of creating a company (enskild or aktiebolag) do run the activities?

Thank you for reading Smiley

You tax only what you sell.
you don't tax under 50k KR it is counted as hobby income.

you can calculate all your costs before hand. Kw/j , Kw/h , Watts consumption of equipment etc etc..
