Have you contacted BFL about this? Is it possible to have an order shifted to another billing account and maintain queue position?

No, it's 1 of 15 units of the same order. The SC Single will ship from my location.

44  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] BFL ASIC SC Single First-month order! on: October 11, 2012, 07:26:19 AM
I am selling 1 BFL SC Single ordered effectively July 15, 2012.

Since this is a first month order, there is a good chance you will have it with the first wave of shipment by BFL and maximize your profit.

Free US Shipping (for international shipping fees apply).

Edit 11/09/12: Selling 3 more units from that order

PM if interested!

Update 12/11/2012: All units are sold!
45  Economy / Securities / [GLBSE] PUREASIC Selling off BFL SC Single on: October 09, 2012, 12:29:44 PM
All full BFL SC Single ownerships have been converted into private purchase agreements.

There is one SC Single (200 shares) left that is split between investors, and the majority shareholders have indicated that a sale is a viable option.

PureASIC was never intended to be a mining company, just an ownership and purchasing asset with an optional hosting service. With GLBSE gone, I converted all full SC Single ownerships into purchase agreements, which doesn't work for a split ownership of the remaining SC Single. So that unit will be sold and the proceeds paid to the share holders of these 200 shares (as soon as Nefario makes the necessary information available). My right to sell off the remaining asset is written into the PureASIC GLBSE contract.

While I have offers for that unit, I find it fair to post my decision before finalizing that sale, so that everyone can put in an offer and I can get the shareholders a good deal.

If you want to make a purchase offer for that 1 ASIC SC Single, please PM me ASAP. ***SOLD***

46  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] PUREASIC Purchase ASIC Ownership on: October 06, 2012, 10:07:21 AM
As we have read, GLBSE shuts down.

I have contacted the investors that I am aware hold full SC Single units (multiples of 200 shares) to convert them into private purchase agreements. Several have already agreed.

Owners of fractional units (shares less than 200) will have to wait until Nefario sends me that info (I guess it will be similar to what he did when delisting Goat's security).

If you are an investor and have questions, please contact me.

Edit: You can follow what's going on with GLBSE here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=115669.msg1248736#msg1248736

Note: I want to state that PureASIC holds no bitcoins on GLBSE, and most BFL SC Single ownerships of full units are being converted to private purchase agreements by now.

Edit 10/07/2012: All holders of full SC Single units (i.e. multiples of 200 shares) have been converted to private purchase agreements and received GPG signed contracts.

Edit 10/10/2012: If you still own some shares (less than 200), please go to GLBSE and fill out the claim form so I can pay out the proceeds once the last SC Single is sold!

GLBSE is offline

For those worried about their bitcoin, please calm yourselves there has been no hack and your coins are safe and all accounted for.

I apologize for the lack of notice and the downtime, but there isn't much choice. We will update our users on Saturday.

So why is Nefario not making this announcement himself?

Very unprofessional how this was handled.

I am considering making more BFL SC Single units from the same order (effective purchase date July 15) available for purchase through PureASIC.

If you are interested in getting a first-month BFL ASIC SC Single send me a PM  (will only sell full units, i.e. multiples of 200 shares).

PureASIC is fully verified on GLBSE, free US shipping is included in the GLBSE contract.

Just 2 BFL SC Singles still available!

Update: Extra units sold outside GLBSE/PureASIC
PureASIC remains to have 9 units allocated (1800 shares total)

Nefario,

I read all over the board sentences like "PM me for bulk share pricing". Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way to execute such an order would be share transfer between accounts.

And yet, you are telling people not to do that (like noticed in a very recent IRC session).

I was wondering if there could be an option to sell bulk shares (i.e. price valid for a given number of shares purchased) at a set price?

Here's something I don't quite get:
In this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110043.msg1197041#msg1197041
you got a loan from AForceNinja that you repaid to 1L1kzpaFWEGr9BLAfNnzykLS7evLPZc3bf
from 14VftcKB6FKex5j7Z4S5usoCRMpKFsrT5C,
the same address that SmokinCigs requested to have a small loan sent to in

Pi=SmokinCigs?

And you are using it to play SatoshiDice...

@BFL-Engineer/BFL_Josh/BFL_Sonny:
Are you going to do something to compensate the fact that the Avalon might be mining @ 60GH/s for $1299, versus the Single SC mining @ 40 GH/s for the same price?

Additionally that we don't have all the specs yet:
The quoted price of the Avalon is just the pre-order price for the first 300 units.
After that it will be 1999USD, putting GH/s/$ back into perspective with BFL.

To me the two red arrows on the left are pointing at 2 capacitors and the one on the right points to a fan header. The blue arrow IMO points to the copper heat pipes...

58  Economy / Securities / Re: A BTC stock exchange for high-risk, unverified securities? on: September 14, 2012, 02:49:48 PM
And what about people looking to get a start on the exchange without any of these things? What if they live with their parents, or are under 18?

If they are under 18 it is even more important to provide the information by someone who is legally responsible for them.
This is all about accountability in case something goes bad. In many countries a minor cannot be held fully financially accountable.
So ID of parents or legal guardians and their utility bill additional to the ID of the kid should be required when under 18.

Re renting: Back when I was renting, the DMV (Department for Motor Vehicles) requested a signed statement from my landlord to show that I live there. I know that's a hassle and it would be great if there's a better way.

It normally is, and I've always hated that, for myself I mean, as I've never had a utility bill in my name, utilities were always included in my rent.

But you're right, no one is going to pay the bills for a house unless they live there.

Thanks for the response.

I thought about that particular part too.

If you pay the utility bill for a house you might not live there in case you rent it out. But that is just as good, as in that case you would usually be the owner.

I always hated that too, unfortunately I do not see a practical way to prove a physical identity without providing additional information.

With proper security measures, I would be ok with sending you a utility bill.
