41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesian Government Banned Bitcoin on: December 03, 2017, 11:48:21 AM
I am Indonesian, after about 6 years living with bitcoin life, mining, trading and join bitcoin community, from mining and trading i got more income and others benefit but what  happen now? bank central of indonesia will ban bitcoin, Fucking stupid  Indonesian government

https://news.bitcoin.com/indonesia-media-urge-bitcoiners-to-cash-in-ahead-of-coming-crypto-ban/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications
I did hear this information in several places. personally i am a person who is close to indonesia and i have not heard any official statement from indonesian government. It looks like an issue but should be kept in mind as there are several important elements that have supported this information. I am worried that the Indonesian government's stance will make Bitcoin a decrease in the price. We all know that Indonesia is one of the biggest markets of Bitcoin users today. The number of transactions in the country of Indonesia can be regarded as top ten. I may be more waiting for what the next step will be taken Indonesian government, the attitude of the Indonesian government will determine the development of Bitcoin in the country of Indonesia. In addition any decision made by the Indonesian government will at least affect the development of Bitcoin globally.

in many online media in indonesia is much telling about indonesia government will ban bitcoin, yes, there still not official statement of government but i heard this ban will do in next year.
i really surprise to hear from you that indonesia is one of the biggest market of bitcoin in the world, any source, i am glad and proud if it is a fact

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more expensive on: December 01, 2017, 04:19:03 PM
I don't know if people in other countries are like this, but in China, we started to think it was a scam, and then when prices got higher and higher, they went to buy it.

because they want to know first it is a scam or not, and after several years then the price is going higher and higher, and that is the answer that bitcoin is not a scam and people start to buying it whatever the price

47  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Bitcoin FORK? on: November 23, 2017, 09:44:44 AM
What is the meaning of Bitcoin fork? and why should there be a fork of bitcoin ?

It's when part of the network decides to follow new consensus rules (eg. bigger blocks) that are incompatible with the old ones, leading two a split of the network into two separate ledgers. This leads to owners of pre-fork coins to have a balance on both sides of the split.

Bitcoin got split into BTC and BCH a few weeks ago due to disagreements about the maximum blocksize, ie. how to approach scalability. Other hardforks are caused by other disagreements.

For a more detailed explanation see for example here:
https://www.coindesk.com/short-guide-bitcoin-forks-explained/
it is mean that if fork happent in btc , does it will delete old transaction before fork happen, let's say, i made a transaction sent 1 btc to other address in 2010, with new fork , is it possible to track my transaction in 2010 with my same btc address that i use in that transaction?

1- yes you can delete your previous or older posts anytime.
2- definitly if you delete your older posts it will decrease your activity. and if you have deleted more older posts then definitly you may have the chance to lower your rank .

One: Yes, you can delete older posts (as long as they're not in auctions and staff wont delete them for you)
Two: It is possible you could lose rank if you delete all the posts you made in an activity period.

oh i see, thank you for information sir

54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: November 18, 2017, 04:57:21 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?
it would be better if bitcoin can not be able to exchange on the Banks, because if it is happen bitcoin will be regulated from the government in any country where the Banks is located

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Altcoin Transaction Confirmation Speed on: November 14, 2017, 11:11:35 AM
because other altcoins are designed differently. for example in case of Dogecoin blocks are being found so much faster (1 minute) than 10 minutes on average for bitcoin.

but this faster block generation means blockchain size grows that much faster too. (10 times faster in this case). but that is only if anyone uses these coins though not if they remain useless and empty.
and that imposes lots of issues. for example as of nearly June 2017 you can no longer sycn your Ethereum wallets fully because of how huge the blockchain is and how slow the process is. according to stats websites such as ethstats.net there are only 50 nodes running and the rest are pruned clients and light weight wallets leaching of them. and that is the exact definition of centralization.
very clear for me, thank you for info sir
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 14, 2017, 10:53:01 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
In year 2010 when i first  known about bitcoin, i believe that bitcoin has a very nice future and today we all know how much price in usd for 1 btc compare to 2010, bitcoin more popular followed by many altcoins from shit coin to the real valuable altcoin like litecoin, ethereum, dash and others.
but in my opinion altcoin never replace bitcoin the reason is that there is  always has to be a main cryptocurrency as a comparison to other alternative criptocurrencies.

Compare the blockheight from your wallet with yobit before sending coins, otherwise your coins are lost if the height differs.
I know about that, I'm trying to send little amount of CAPTs. I don't think the chain is same because I'm having POS rewards every block.
i have experience sent 5000 CAPT to yobit its confirmed in my wallet but never come to my yobit capt wallet and then i realize that the blockchain is different from yobit and my wallet, i delete my wallet and i try to download it again, actually i have download blockchain and delete and start to download again for many time , and for now i still try again to download full blockchain start from 0 , maybe someday my wallet will have same blockchain as yobit wallet
You are right, but there are too many blocks to sync and it's not easy to do. I'll do it the same I thing, but I don't want to lost CAPTs on my wallet...
i never delete my wallet.dat, only the blockchain and wallet desktop aplication not wallet.dat....

60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin VS Altcoin Transaction Confirmation Speed on: November 11, 2017, 10:28:20 AM
i have any experience send bitcoin to other btc wallet adress and it is needed about minimum 1 hour to get 1 confirmation even today i sent about 0,035 btc needed about 4 hours to get 2 confirmation, compare to dogecoin is very fast also bitcoin cash and other altcoins, why this can be happen, as we know bitcoin is the pioneer and king of the cryptocurrencies
