Watched it to see who you were referring to. Heard a familiar name so thought you meant elche. From those days they had the onsite chat available but now it is all on telegram.
Then waited until the very end to see more winners, low and behold @buwaytress SB username was on there.
So if they are still following this thread, he should know already being one of the winners of $1000USD.
So congratulations to another forum winner of these raffle draws among several thousand other players from all over the world participating in it.
When they announced the top three prizes, I thought I heard the host saying el che at one point, and then I saw the spelling was different at the end.

Yup, it was buwaytress, I wasn't sure if it was him at first because I don't know the exact spelling, anyway congrats to him.  Cheesy

Well technically not yet. Gotta wait for another 45 minutes for the result
And now it's done, I guess i'm from the future.  Cool

42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Standard practice for online Casinos going under - how are cash outs handled? on: July 27, 2024, 12:07:50 AM
Other things want to mention, which idiot who are storing funds in some casino? casino is not exchange/wallet (most people should deposit and withdraw) immediately after they finish the section gambling. These case only can be face, for some guy who are storing their money in casino.

Storing money in casino should be a crime, and people who do these need to go jail Grin
There are a bunch of situations where gamblers can easily forget their gambling money for quite a while and let it sit in their account. In my case, I had a bunch of winnings together with my deposit sitting around in my account back then for a few weeks because of my luck from winning a promotion or raffle. People can quickly become busy so we can't blame them if they still have money sitting at their gambling accounts.

If I can still gamble on the site, I will try to bet to make my money be up to minimum withdrawal if it is not up to that.
This is what i'd also do if the minimum is not that high or i'll send a small deposit to reach the minimum and then clear the deposit rollover.

Was looking at the 4-3-free yesterday and look alright to for the upcoming basketball games:
I also saw that on the sidebar, it was nice to see the promo being brought back for the Olympics.

You should play the other one, there is another jackpot rounds with tomorrow as the deadline. Dont forget to submit your predictions !
Thanks for the reminder, i'll try to join in later today, and nice work on converting your free bet.

The winners of the Euro 24 giveaway just got posted earlier and I think I saw one familiar name at the end.

44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 26, 2024, 07:47:41 AM
3DMAX is the most serious opponent for us in the group. As our odds are only 1.38 against 2.8. I wouldn't find it logical to bet on such low odds. I guess it is better to wait for brackets. I believe we have a good chance to win the tournament and get that $120k prize. ENCE looks like the biggest challenge.  Sad
With those odds, I agree that it's better to skip and wait for the playoffs. The alternative bet is probably to take 3DMAX handicap rounds assuming it'll be a close match that can potentially go to OT.

ENCE is still on the verge of not qualifying based on their current standings, but they should dominate against True Rippers and edge out The Mongolz in the tiebreakers if both teams win their series and finish with a 3-2 record.

I'll dive in for a bit of League of Legends as we have a couple of LCK matches today and i'm still not confident in betting on the Elite League and the Skybet tournament. FearX takes on BRO in the LCK and BRO is currently the worst team in their league while FearX is looking competitive after recently winning against good teams like T1 and KT Rolster.

..
I still can't believe the team wasted so many points in the second half of the season.  Lips sealed

Why dont you like this ? I personally think its great addition though
Same, I had mixed feelings about the idea after reading it the first time, then the more I think about it the more it doesn't sound as bad.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 26, 2024, 01:38:11 AM
However , I wouldn't risk any money to bet on this league because even if I know almost all the Dota 2 pro teams , some of them will tend to try new heroes to find new heroes to draft before TI starts... Grin
I agree, better sit back and wait for the next few days until some of the weaker teams get eliminated in the swiss and round-robin stage. Favorites like Team Liquid don't care if they drop a map as it's all about winning their series and getting the clean 3-0 to qualify a day early for the next round.

Also, it sucks that the viewing experience isn't accessible since there's no official English broadcast from the organizers.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Signals for Casino games a real thing? on: July 26, 2024, 12:42:02 AM
I’d like to hear your thoughts on this, do you think something like this is possible? Or it’s just a means to scam people off their money? I personally know that even the casinos don’t know the exact numbers that will come up next not to talk of an outsider.
It's easily a scam because as you've mentioned casinos will never disclose the results and it's only a coincidence if someone does manage to win their crash games from these signal groups.

If it was possible then we could see casinos closing down, i'd imagine it's similar to how tipsters sell their predictions, but it's worse because the information they provide isn't reliable.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 25, 2024, 12:06:16 AM
I just noticed that alot of top teams were missing on this tournament. At first I thought they probably want to take a break on a small tier tournament but this is a $1M prizepool tournament. This is also probably going to be the last top tier tournament before TI though

I could totally understand if team like GG would skip this out especially after they win Riyadh Master but even Team Liquid as the runner up will be playing in this tournament so I dont really understand why most team skip this out
Some of them probably turned it down because they got invited to the Snow Ruyi tournament first, and it's scheduled to start around the same week as Elite League.

I remember Team Liquid has the best outright odds to win the Elite League around 2.10 which is crazy. Then again it makes sense to redeem themselves after their heartbreaking loss against Gaimin Gladiators in the finals of the Riyadh Masters.

I just saw the news about Cloud 9 has came back to Dota 2 and they've taken the roster of Entity. I guess there's a huge buy out from them, Entity organization made money a lot from this roster.
News: Cloud9 signs Entity Gaming's Dota 2 roster
This is not what I expected from Cloud9, but Entity got the most out of this move since I can still recall their roster was in shambles after the DPC ended.

There's also Arteezy moving away from the competitive scene and Shopify Rebellion got Pakasz as their new carry with Saberlight subbing in for MC for the Elite League. Now i'm a bit looking forward to how their roster will perform with a different carry.

From 3/4 spots relegated or promoted and upping it to 5 is great, Division 2 will get more competitive than ever. I enjoyed going back and forth through the announcement treating it like a patch note from a game.

Also, welcome to the newcomers who made it in Division 3 and russeras who'll be on evaluation.

The buying and selling of club spots is a nice addition. The permanent fee sounds discouraging, but it shouldn't be a problem if you can always finish at the top of your Division.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 23, 2024, 06:02:18 AM
The match which appeared on your specials page looks like it is from the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A league.
That match ended up being another disappointing draw 1-1 score to any bettors.
That special I took last week won despite the result ending in a draw as I only need 2 goals per match.  Cheesy

I noticed that we'll have a bunch of Champions League qualifying matches later, so here's my bet on Fenerbahce Istanbul to win the first leg (@1.77). The odds are nice even without the price boost, I checked the others and they mostly have them a bit lower(@1.69).

52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can't gambling addiction also be positive? on: July 23, 2024, 05:20:38 AM
There are little upsides to going through a gambling addiction to say it can be viewed positively, and we already have a better term for it.

I further argued that everything mustn't have to be about money to make it positive or negative. Some kinds of gambling and gaming relieve stress in some people and give them the desired happiness. This goes a long way depending on the mindset we played it.
I'm with you on this part while the first part you mentioned about regularly earning through betting is just wishful thinking. It's always good to set a goal, but in gambling, it'll do more harm than good if you prioritize earnings that highly then it can potentially transition to chasing losses.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I quit playing slots? on: July 23, 2024, 03:11:10 AM
After that experience it leves a bad taste, I didn't enjoy the session, and feels like a rigged game.

Had anyone here had an experience like that and think about quit playing slots?
Having one bad session shouldn't discourage you from playing slots unless you don't enjoy the game after giving it several chances. I had countless bad experiences with slots, but it took me a while before it made me quit and move to sports betting. If I usually have those bad experiences, I only put them on my avoid list and then move on to another slot game. Still, I don't blame you for quitting, there are games where you sometimes have to draw the line if it's not fun anymore.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 23, 2024, 12:09:04 AM
G2 can't catch a break these past few days after the CS2 and Valorant team lost their big matches yesterday, and now it's their LoL team as they also lost to Fnatic.

So basically a team sent tons of representative among all competition that is played on the Esports World Cup. If they get atleast top 8 on those competition then they will get club points. Obviously if you get to top 3, the amount will be way significantly higher comparing to top 8 and currently Team Falcons is on the 1st spot with 2950 club points thats 1800 points difference with the 2nd spot
It's going to be a battle for second place for the remaining teams as Team Falcons' lead will only get wider at this point, they have so many squads participating in every other EWC.

Anyway, who's able to hit the match winner in the grand finals with a W?  Grin
Congrats to us, odd might not be that much but I like that green color.  Tongue
It is nice to end the tournament on a solid sweat-free win, even though the lower-bracket experience was brutal with the upsets.  Tongue
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 22, 2024, 05:04:59 PM
While waiting for the IT game in September, I'd like to try to bet on CS2. But honestly I have to learn to understand some teams and some players because I haven't watched and played this game for a long time.
So can anyone recommend me the CS2 competition that you're usually betting on?
Next week there's a Blast Premier tournament, it's one of the few recurring CS2 tournaments worth following since it's like the EPT equivalent in CS2. After that, you have IEM Cologne next and it's a much bigger tournament with teams fighting for more circuit points and the tournament winner qualifies for the World Finals.

Even though Riyadh Masters just ended, we have Elite League to look forward to, and the same as last time they'll go through the Swiss stage, so at least we don't have to deal with another set of matches ending on draws.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 22, 2024, 01:16:18 AM
Was a long CounterStrike Grand Finals in the Esports World Cup which ended with a Na'Vi win in the end!
NaVi completed the reverse sweep after a close OT loss in the first map, while G2 didn't have enough steam and only got six on the next two maps.

Beaten by two broodmother, chen and invoker games at map 1 & 2. If these heroes have been impactful to their very first games, they should have ban it to the next one and map 2 but on this, Team Liquid didn't because they probably can counter that through Tide at map 1 and sandking at map 2.
I thought Team Liquid could keep it competitive in the first map when I heard Tundra's coach share insights behind their draft to stop the early power spike of Gaimin Gladiators, but for some reason, they always end up playing behind.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature campaigns paid in stable coins/ top altcoins like LTC on: July 22, 2024, 12:45:54 AM
I'll try to help with the temporary updates as there's not much activity with the BTC counterpart.

Added three campaigns (Stake, Secureshift, and Vave) and updated Seabet's link to the last round.

So GG is officially back in the game huh. I was expecting today to be abit tight that why I bet on over 2.5 maps on Liquid - Falcons but oh dang Liquid won 2-0 straight. Good thing that I actually didnt bet on GG - Liquid, otherwise I would have gone for Team Liquid as the winner.

Abit dissapointed that the game wasnt as intense as I expected it to be. Liquid should have win atleast 1 map there to keep up with the tension but oh well, I always feel dissapointed when grand final games ended with only 3 maps
This meta is so good for them with the deadly snowball lineups like the Broodmother and Beastmaster cores we saw from the first game and the other series they've played.

Team Liquid tried to ban some of those heroes (Enchantress, Chen, Broodmother) in the next maps and it was still not enough, they had too many options to fall back on.

I was also hoping to see the series at least reach four maps, but Team Liquid was probably demoralized after losing the first two maps as it was all Gaimin Gladiators.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 21, 2024, 03:12:19 PM
I'm also siding with Gaimin Gladiators in this grand finals, but I will go for their map handicap to push the odds slightly higher.

I'd still assume Team Liquid will struggle against Gaimin Gladiators and I don't think the momentum from their win against Team Falcons would change the outcome of this series.

60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how often do you rely on prediction sites on: July 21, 2024, 04:51:39 AM
I used to follow a few prediction sites because they started great, offering reasonings and stats about their predictions, then later on they'll encourage you to take their paid predictions. At one point I paid for predictions which I fully regret because they kept handing out winners back then until they ran out of luck and their record got worse. Eventually, I found something better so I stopped going after prediction sites and these guys put more effort into their free predictions.
