41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 29, 2018, 03:43:57 PM
Nobody knows. If it hit almost 20k in December, logically, it could go back up. Likewise, logically, it could go beyond 1K. It was at less than 1k just a year ago.

The fact is, it isn't an investment. It is supposed to be a currency, a digital currency, and not an investment.

It is pure speculation, pure and simple, and most of the people `investing` in it won't make money. The true believers will hold it `forever`, until it well and truly crashes, and maybe buy it even if it reaches 20K again.

Many of the new people in the market are losing faith, as they understand they won't make a profit anytime soon, especially if they bought at 15k-19k.

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why today another big drop? on: June 29, 2018, 03:33:19 PM
The December / January rally was artificially manipulated, the reason for the dropping is mainly due to investors panicking. Manipulation, market corrections and FUD all play a part in this and this article will go over a few reasons why I think the markets have further to fall before the trend reverses.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges are you mostly trusted? on: June 28, 2018, 09:46:22 PM
In the last months I’ve tested all popular exchanges. The only one I still use is Binance. They are leading in the following points:

- Largest range of Altcoins
- Low trading fees
- High liquidity
- Professional chart software

Binance is growing very fast. From time to time they have to suspend new user registrations until they have increased their server capacity. At the moment it’s possible to sign in, so don’t miss the chance.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of May on: June 28, 2018, 09:42:31 PM
It is very difficult to understand if an ico has a good project and if when will be listed can bring a real profit to the investor. Certainly from the purely technical point of view, I advise you to check the hard cap and soft cap to understand if they are actually suited to the project. You can also check if social media is followed by many people.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where should we store ETH safely? on: June 28, 2018, 08:58:51 PM
A hardware wallet. If you are not going to use it for some time you can use a paper wallet. Generate the paper wallet keypair (Public and Private). With an online wallet, send Ether to the public address, and that’s it. You can see in my post, how you can make a paper wallet.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 28, 2018, 05:15:24 PM
The most interesting is that cryptocurrencies are created from nothing and its value is growing. You literally can create 100 illusion-coins and tell everyone that it worth $30 each, but you know it costs nothing - it’s just a code. But the money is kind of the same, right? The money is an abstact notion we use to descibe a difference between value of things. I always forget that the money are not material

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: June 28, 2018, 04:42:22 PM
I think when a company has KYC it’s a good sign. It means they care about their business and investors. A few month ago I invested in BitClave. They had KYC procedure.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coins to buy right now? on: June 27, 2018, 05:22:56 PM
It is actually very difficult to say which cryptocurrency is the best for an investment. It doesn’t means that I don’t have any recommendations (keep reading if you would like to see what I recommend)

There are different strategies that you can use for a long term investment and the first one is to invest on the top 10 cryptocurrencies by Market Cap.

It is wise not to only invest in one cryptocurrency, but to diversify so your winnings can make up for your loses.

A second strategy is to invest in cryptocurrencies that are still under $1 per coin, in the hope that they will gain in value in the future.

My recommendation to Invest in 2018 is as below (priorities based on my research)..

1- IOTA
2- Ripple
3- Litecoin
4- Ethereum
5- BITCOIN
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: June 27, 2018, 05:15:19 PM
I tend to think the number is much better than 99%. Possibly 75%. For one, ICO’s are so new most have not had a chance to fail. They are still trying to launch or build their product. But if I had to guess I would say that because ICOs are well funded that could give them an advantage compared to a traditional startup company. Plus most have a business model in the growing crypto industry.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: June 27, 2018, 03:46:32 AM
Should you invest in ETH? That depends on a lot of factors including your risk profile and financial situation, but in a nutshell, investing in ETH is looking good for the long haul.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: June 21, 2018, 01:06:38 PM
Waves isn't getting much traction, I truly dont understand why. I was all-in before NG network release, but diversified after because nothing was happening prise wise. I still hold a chunk and will continue to HODL. I think you will get burned if you sell everything and try to buy back later.

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: June 21, 2018, 01:04:33 PM
You can lose money on crypto? The market shot up from 17 Billion in January 2017 to 600 Billion on 31 December 2017… basically every coin gained. You can only lose money if you sell low and buy high every day. If you hold the trend is up up up.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: June 21, 2018, 12:56:48 PM
Because blockchain is a new and exciting field, and everyone is racing to try applying it to anything and everything. There’s also an obvious network effect when it comes to a lot of blockchain applications, implying the likely scenario is that the battle over a given use case will be winner-take-all and that there will be a strong first-mover advantage when determining who comes out ahead.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: June 21, 2018, 12:49:39 PM
On suggestion I would put to you would be to split your $3000 per month into 3 x $1000 (or 6 x $500), and spend most of your time learning what indicators accurately predict future ROI from investing in ICO’s. A number of ICO’s have seen ROI for investors of over 10,000% within a year, and by following this strategy you will invest $1000 into 156 different ICO’s each year.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: June 20, 2018, 06:23:21 PM
Ethereum is simply better than Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s purpose is to be the virtual currency of the internet, and it uses the blockchain to do this. However, Ethereum focuses on the bigger problem. Many beginners in cryptocurrency believe that Ethereum is only as a financial currency, like Bitcoin. This is wrong for many reasons.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: June 19, 2018, 11:36:13 PM
Whether one should invest in bitcoin or not depends on whether you think Bitcoin will become a long-term trusted store of value.

If it does become a long-term trusted store of value, BTC should trade around $2,000,000 a coin (depending on how many coins are lost and are actually in circulation). That is over 100x the price of where BTC is today.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Really? Next Bitcoin is Litecoin on: June 19, 2018, 10:53:22 PM
I believe that Litecoin has a lot of potential, but I don’t think it will ever reach the same level of growth that Bitcoin has or will have. That being said, there are a few reasons I believe that Litecoin still has an immense amount of potential.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: June 13, 2018, 06:57:53 PM
I would say yes if the market is going up as fast as this one especially. If you just look at investors historically day traders have never beat long term holders. Take Warren Buffet one of the most successful investors of all time. What does he do? He buys companies and holds them for a very long time. He DOES NOT day trade.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: June 13, 2018, 02:17:42 AM
XRP, ETH & LTC is good to invest. LTC is going to bring very soon LTC Cash and yo will see very soon its price will go beyond 20K mark. ETH is too gaining the momentum and you will see 75K–80K mark in next week and XRP will be touching 100K INR mark by 2nd quarter of the year.
