41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 10:53:17 PM
So if you post that you won in horse racing or you post the winning bets in daily lottery you will likely get charged and penalize, so what do you think of this law, is this right?

You don't fully understand the law mate. It's about publishing gambling-related content that seems to attract more users.

If the post were done in a simple "Yey I won on Lottery", that wouldn't be subject to getting penalized. The law is honestly good because there are lots of users on social media who are posting gambling links as they are gathering referrals and not using real accounts.

Besides, I can't believe someone will really post their winning bets in lottery or horse racing to the public?
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 15, 2024, 10:30:30 PM
I found that boring. How can a newbie bettor improve their betting skills if there are no risks? The real pressure is when there's at stake.

Honestly, there's no need to learn sports betting deeply before a newbie will try to engage. Basic knowledge is enough and advanced knowledge can be learned along the way. A newbie can also practice sports betting for real without risking a large amount of money.

As I mentioned, basic knowledge is enough to start sports betting. For a newbie who is already familiar with and knowledgeable about the sports they prefer to bet on, they just need to learn the interface of the betting platform, how to make deposits, understand the terms, and how to place a bet.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Online Casinos Publish Their Bankroll? Your Thoughts? on: March 15, 2024, 10:19:46 PM
It's unnecessary to publish a casino's bankroll in public as long as they are registered legally in the country where it is based and operating. By following the said country's gambling law, I'm sure they are serious about the business, meaning they have a large bankroll.

Besides, it's non-sense if these casinos start a business, spending much money on advertisement but in the end, their bankroll is not enough. If they aren't able to accommodate a big user winning, that will ruin their reputation and they might face a lawsuit.

My statement can't applied though for crypto casinos. In that case, I'm just relying on how reputable they are.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 13, 2024, 10:47:06 PM
Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

You are on the wrong side of understanding what gambling really is, if you think that's an investment.

Even how much money you put in gambling, even how much seriousness and focus you will apply here, you can't treat gambling as an investment. An investment is supposed to give you sure returns with a sense even if we are also facing risk here. In gambling, the only result you will always get is losing most of the time that's why it should not be treated as any form of investment.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake on a potential(obvious) loosing team just for love? on: March 13, 2024, 10:25:18 PM
Question: Can you have so much love for your team to behave like this guy that even when you know your love fans team would loose a match, would you still further stake on the match against your team?
Remember that we are catching funs here and whoever chasing after profits is at its own will.

As a long-time of that said team, yes I will put my trust on them regardless if they are up against a much better team.

About the profits, I will see to it that I will find a better betting option for me so that while I support my team, I'm also having a chance to get profits by betting with them. Sometimes, I want my favorite team as an underdog so that I will have the chance to take a high and goods since after all, there's no way I will bet on the opposing team.

47  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 07, 2024, 08:25:11 PM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?

We can't erase the fact that some gamblers want revenge for their losses and to fulfill that, they need to gamble over and over again.

After several tries to regain those losses, the total loss amount is just increasing until chances are now low to recover those. We should erase the purpose of chasing losses since it's not possible for everyone. To at least feel that we got our revenge at the casino, cash out every time we experience a big win, and enjoy the money we got from gambling.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 07, 2024, 08:15:23 PM
I would be surprised if Mike beats Jake. He is 60.  Would you bet if its on Stake?

Even though there's no official announcement yet if this fight will be an official fight (which I doubt) or an exhibition, I will skip betting on this match.

First, I'm sure it's an exhibition match and the odds are against Jake. If shit happened, Jake might become a winner.
Second, Exhibition matches are supposed to be for entertainment purposes only - no strings attached.

I can't see how it will be possible for that match to become official where they are in different weight divisions.

But if I remember it right, exhibition matches aren't usually listed in most bookies, right?
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 07, 2024, 08:04:55 PM
There was a time before that I managed to take home a good win out of desperation because I had a financial problem.

I became overconfident that I would be able to achieve it and after several hours of playing, I managed a good win and solved my financial problem. That was a lucky day for me so I can say that it was not a mistake when I turned into being overconfident that time.

My further gambling session though didn't end well that's why currently, it might be a mistake now to consider being overconfident in gambling.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: March 01, 2024, 11:01:28 PM
How do you see losing your payment to the casino?

Do you see losing your payment back to the casino as your own form of indirect support for the project?

The question doesn't seem to be suitable since the payment you got is all yours and the project has nothing to do with it now.

If you lose that payment to the platform you are promoting here, there should be no further question about that. You support the project by playing there but the money you have lost is your own money, not theirs.

Do you think that I already have a bad gambling mindset thinking that by engaging in one or two bets or games I am supporting the project I promote?

I wouldn't consider you as already having a bad gambling mindset. It's common for any gambler to engage in multiple betting.

The project you are promoting has nothing to do with your actions. Just follow what kind of betting style you prefer.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 01, 2024, 10:31:24 PM
As the famous saying, "Expect the unexpected".

When betting on the lottery, don't expect to win but just wait for an unexpected good result. Sounds contradicting but it's a good approach not to forcefully attempt to win the lottery because that was damn hard that it will even take your entire life on earth but still won't win.

I'm also betting on a national lottery here in our country casually. The price for a single ticket is just around $0.5, the same price for scratch cards. Not a die-hard person who hoping for a big win but if it's given to me, then thank you for the Man above.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 01, 2024, 10:07:44 PM
When you have one or more children, you have heavy responsibilities. Sometimes you're on a tight budget. Can being a parent change our playing habits? Are losses even harder to bear when you're in charge of a family?

It's all end up on the person itself. If they are willing to make changes to their gambling habit now that they are establishing a family or the family is now growing, they might change and now more serious about taking care of the family instead of putting so much time and money in gambling.

Unfortunately, there are some cases around the world where even with lots of responsibilities and a growing number of children in a family, some irresponsible parents will continue to gamble and waste money in gambling regardless of their purpose.

On the other hand, it's good to see that there are still responsible parents who show care for their families despite being used to gambling.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of these betting Statements Do you Agree or Disagree With? on: March 01, 2024, 09:26:33 PM
I want to believe that we all agree that our betting budget should be within 5% -10% of our monthly income as responsible gamblers. However, our perspective on sports betting differs. Look at the gambling sentences and indicate which of the statements you agree or disagree with. You could also write a brief explanation for your standpoint

1. Don't bet all your money on one bet.
2. Bet the same amount on every bet.
3. Don't bet more than once a day.
4. Don't bet every day.

1. As in All Money in one bet? Does anyone do that for real? It's even worse than All-In as it just covers the bankroll on that specific session.
2. It's a waste of time especially if playing on slots and roulettes. What if the bet amount is considered low? Are you willing to spend time patiently?
3. I agree but what if that gambler just took a break a while ago and already got winning? Depends on the situation.
4. Same as my answer in number 3. If the gambler already takes a break on that day, either even winning or losing, I see nothing wrong with betting the other day and the following days.

Above all of this, we should always try to be responsible for our actions at all times while gambling, even how hard it is.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 01, 2024, 09:11:34 PM
The high rate of gamblers who take loan for gambling purposes is quite alarming, and most of them are fathers to kids. Most of them don't end up taking care of their debt before passing. What happens to the funds, when the lender comes for his money? It's quite a tough one for a person who isn't a gambler to inherit a trouble from a gambling dad. Such things also increase the anger of the society on gamblers, because the addicts are, also, good at extending their problem gambling to other close relatives. Could it be talked through in the law court?

It's possible if the law requires it. But as far as I know, the jurisdiction varies per country, region, or location.

Not sure about other regions but if I talk about our banks here, if someone borrowed a huge amount, collateral is required that is worth and valued as high as the loan amount. Part of the terms is, if the loaner is deceased, and the loan is still not settled yet, the collateral will still be pulled by the bank not unless the family is willing to shoulder the remaining amount to be settled. Settling debt through legal cases is difficult as there are requirements needed and if worst, the lender might also face a lawsuit, especially if not a registered lender.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 29, 2024, 11:24:56 PM

How can I choose the best betting site that provides me with a safe betting experience
Does this site provide a high level of safety for its players?
I need help from those with experience in this field

Nothing beats natural reviews from real users. Go head to the Gambling section and look for those active threads. Try to catch up with the recent discussion and you should understand right away that you are in the right place.

Another factor is popularity, these sites won't reach popularity if they have the worst service. To be fair, I don't want to suggest you a site but rather I want you to look for it and try to test your research skills. It should be easy just by lurking around the Gambling section.

After looking for a site, but still having questions, you can ask the community about that site if it's worth trying.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 11:07:17 PM
I want to know how it feels among those of you who gamble using altcoins or bitcoins, basically the crypto you are using today has increased significantly, we know that in 2022-2023 coins that are small are not so valuable, and how does it feel today? Is there a little regret or do you not care because the money you lose in gambling is a necessity for you, so you don't care about the crypto you have lost in gambling for the past two years?

Whether any crypto, tokens, shitcoins, or fiat, as long as I lose it gambling, there's always a regret. But I don't regret losing those because some of them have a good value now. Nothing we can do about it. If we want, there are always ways to make a re-entry at these coins or start choosing low market cap coins and bet on them.

We can compare that situation when we sell our coins early or do not buy at these coins' established price dip.

Since no one knows what will happen in the future, regretting that actions today won't bring any good benefits to us.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: February 29, 2024, 10:52:29 PM
Who knows what will be the exact experience? It depends on how the new trend will apply to the gambling itself.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of these VR Casinos, AI-related programs etc. It doesn't sound interesting to me.

My desire is just simple while gambling is progressing throughout the years. I'm looking forward to a more stunning online slot game interface that can almost compare to a high-class online game but still can be played as usual online. Game provider Pocket Gaming Soft is so far one of the game providers that putting effort into their game layouts aside from giving huge ways to win big.

I won't speculate on new trends that will rise. I will just wait patiently and be surprised.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 29, 2024, 10:37:06 PM
..it's like a stigma that Australia has been biased but I do not think that is the case anymore.

We should not focus on Australia itself but on the judges assigned to the fight. The selected judges in a big fight always came from different countries. It's not the country but the politics behind the fight that has the power to influence the judge's decision.

I'm sure that even if this fight between Gaballo and Moloney is held in the latter's home country, the possible manipulation is because of the politics and not on the country, Australia. I don't even see it as an advantage for Moloney that it will be held in his country. He is far from his prime and even in his prime, he didn't face fierce boxers in the bantamweight.

Moloney's advantage is experienced being a veteran in bantamweight. But that advantage won't be effective if his body won't able to keep to a much younger and quicker Reymart Gaballo who is much hungry to taste a big title and is currently a rising star.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: your perception about gambling on: February 29, 2024, 10:19:23 PM
however, my question here now is : is gambling restricted to some certain kind of individuals or class?

The restriction depends on;

* whether this person is following a certain gambling rule and is forced to comply with it or
* just self-restriction.

Let's take for example the pastor you have saw doing gambling. Pastor is the term used for a minister in charge in a Christian church. There were no written scriptures saying gambling is illegal or prohibited in that religion therefore doing gambling is not considered a sin. Since there was no restriction, we can assume that a pastor is allowed to gambling. But since they minister to the church, they are being followed by their people therefore if young generations see them gambling, they might encourage these people to do the same which is not good. In this situation, the pastor should self-restrict his stand towards gambling.

In another example, for those people who are forced not to do gambling, basically, it means these people are whether:

* living in a country where gambling is totally illegal
* member of the religion where gambling is prohibited
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 23, 2024, 10:00:33 AM
I had a fight too with my friend on this, trying to persuade him to not take such decisions but he wouldn't listen and I let him be but when the mystery unfold,he came begging me but what would I do as at that moment, definitely nothing.
They are addicted and it's controlling their wellbeing, behavior and all of that but they think it's the other way round.

When you as a friend think that you have already done your very best to help that person cope with his gambling addiction, then still nothing good happened, it's better to consider reaching that person's family and close relatives. These addicted people now need to be forcefully watched by their families and if necessary, put them into a gambling rehabilitation center where they can be taken properly for good.

We should not give up until we are able to save our friends who are currently drowning in gambling addiction. They won't seek help for that addiction problem as they don't know how to think properly that's why instead, we who are in the right mind, must help them.
