bitcoin is a decentralized currency so it's obviously rise or fall in different times but it has more percentage of chance to rise because bitcoin is made to be like that in 2025 you will gonna see what bitcoin really are it will be the most highest amount of currency in all crypto currency because after all these years bitcoin is the most reliable crypto currency.

Both could possibly happen. As of now the price bounce back for more or less than $300. We don't know yet if the price will fall again or it will continuosly rise. Though there are some prediction on Aug 1, it wasn't accurate. Best thing to do is keep watching/seeing the price from time to time.

Of course all bitcoin users hope that bitcoin prices will increase again after this August, because many who have dependence on bitcoin.

maybe i would wait for increasing of cryptocurrency..the price is dump now but maybe in the next month or wait for 2 month it  should be back to normal  with the price back i think you've better to keep your coin for now..

Bitcoin is not easy to kill but there are some reason why bitcoin die. Maybe bitcoin can die if people saw it's disadvantage than it's advantage in that case people will not use it anymore. In this world, once a people easily being famous suddenly it can forget easily like bubble.

it has been 8+ years and there have been hundreds of altcoins fighting pretending to be able to compete with the first spot. in the future this will only change if NEW altcoins are created with some utility and usefulness as a currency in mind not with "how to pump and dump more" in mind and as their main goal.

so far ethereum has been the pump and dump to make more money. and it is not a currency. it is a platform for smart contracts which in reality is used to create ICO scams! so it is more like a double fail for it.

besides if you want to compare you should compare things in their own category. bitcoin is a currency. ethereum is a platform for smart contracts with token called ether which is not even supposed to be used as a currency. if you want to compare then do it with other smart contract platforms. there are a lot of them and many do it so much better and easier than ether.

Bitcoin value remains stable and strong for the past 5 months of 2017 I think what just happening now is a sort of opportunity for investment. Bitcoin survived for almost 8 years and prove to market that it is really worth the wait. In few more months maybe we will experience more price drops for bitcoin but for sure it will rise again. So don't panic and keep on holding to your bitcoin, don't sell it yet and be patient.

I would recommend you taking some time and watching some youtube videos about the market and analysing graphs, etc, since it will help you understand a lot of this stuff and you will know when you sell and when you should hold bitcoin. Price drops on bitcoin are a very regular thing, especially before such a big event, which is August first. There has been a lot of controversial news about how this hard fork will kill bitcoin, and I am certain that the price drops that are happening are due to this. Pretty sure this is called pre segwit anticipation.

currently no one has any idea that what is going on with bitcoiin, everyone eye is on 1st august, to me i think after 1st August the price of bitcoin is going to increase more and more. i am sure that even hardfork will not effect the price of bitcoin. because bitcoin has a full support of the people and investors and therefore bitcoin is still trading in a reasonable price and i am sure that it will continue increasing for a long time.
