What are UNO folks learning about their long captured Cryptsy UNO? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Makes sense to use the resources we have. Bitcointalk ANN thread is not the only communication hub for Unobtanium discussion as FK has recently pointed out. It's possible to escape the orbit of BCT's network effect.
I thought Gekk's description of the flesh market around him involved college age women?
Nevertheless, setting aside social evils, cultural differences, local color, etc... information is information, ideas are ideas, thoughts are thoughts.

Would anyone care what I'm thinking?
I just want to know if anybody cares what I'm thinking. Some people don't like me.
So, I'll put it to vote.
Does anybody care what Gekko is thinking?
Yes, no, fuck me whatever...
I will let you know if I share or not on 1 May.
Silence is no.
I think things. Anybody care what about what I think?
Vote publicly and often.
This got me LOLing ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Some Cryptsy UNO wallet(s) speculation:
How much UNO, if any belongs to Cryptsy (Paul “Big Vern” Vernon)?
And possibility of non-English language speakers/readers with UNO trapped on Craptsy?
I think anyone who had UNO on Cryptsy that was out of communication or on vacation or whatever, by now has learned and understands that Cryptsy exchange is dead... but the wallet(s) lives on.

Why buy, hold, trade any altcoin? Profit potential. Store, transfer value. Opportunity to provide feedback for the development of better user experience. And most important - Memes.

I was researching price activity on Mt. Gox around the 2012 BTC halving event when I decided to take a quick look back at UNO on Cryptsy. We are seeing near all time UNO lows comparable to the Wolong dump and CoinEx "hack" dump periods both from 2014. UNO has traded on CoinEx, CryptoRush, Coins-e, AllCrypt, Mintpal, AtomicTrade, and Cryptsy exchanges (more?). Cryptsy, I think, was the longest tenured and had highest volume UNO trading. Also there's questionable data on the historic charts that was pointed out at the time and in some way may be related to the Lucky7Coin hack. https://cryptrader.com/charts/cryptsy/uno/btchttps://www.coinigy.com/s/i/56b46f5e/Are there significant amounts of UNO to sell profitably at market price today? Anyone know or venture to guess what break even price is for UNO mined 2013-present? Maybe have to overlay historical BTC/USD with historical UNO/BTC.

"Testnet coins are separate and distinct from actual bitcoins, and are never supposed to have any value. This allows application developers or bitcoin testers to experiment, without having to use real bitcoins or worrying about breaking the main bitcoin chain." https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/TestnetStore and transfer value with UNO. Testnets (UNO or otherwise) can be messy - that's what they're for.

For the future, anyone with trapped UNO or other Cryptsy held altcoins - what were the circumstances that lead to not withdrawing them before the halt to operations at the exchange?
Also, are you being told anything by Cryptsy regarding the return of your UNO or other altcoins?

It may be someone with balls of unobtanium though, it's hard to know.
That reminds me to buy Unobtanium this week and not powerball lottery ticket.

Don't say you haven't been told.
Currently not hyped and not pumped. Under the radar of many. Exactly what smart money is hungry for.
Uno is really what most people are searching in this sea of scamcoins and shortlived stuff. It can be up 30x before you realize.
https://cryptrader.com/charts/cryptsy/uno/btc2015 half way point for Unobtanium (UNO) may seem puzzling considering that $UNO is now merge mined with BTC as efforts continue to engage China markets. Yes, the exchange rate is higher for the year so far, but due to the high hash rate, low block reward, and developers/community contributions, I think there's an opportunity for better performance in the second half of the year. O No, UNO 2015. UNO/BTC is down from 570,000 satoshi at beginning of 2015 to around 400,000 satoshi at the end of 2015 (down about 30%). The interesting thing about UNO/BTC quotes you'll see has to do with Cryptsy Exchange. So please BEWARE if you think an arbitrage opportunity exists to take advantage of different UNO/BTC trades across exchanges. Due to problems withdrawing BTC and other alts from Cryptsy, more than 50% of the "Cryptsy Mega Wallet" (#1 wallet on UNO richlist - known to be Cryptsy) is now off that exchange. There's still some work to do warning folks of potential risks - like losing exchange managed UNO holdings. Like with any crypto - only keep what you're willing to lose on exchanges. UNO probably ranks up there with BTC in surviving various exchange related chaos. Here We Go UNO 2016. Find out latest UNO info for 2016 here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.11420

Here's part of an e-mail from Oct. 28, 2015 re: Coins-e Exchange UNO wallet deposits/withdrawals Saul A < hi@coins-e.com> "Hey Craig - we have an issue with the UNO wallets. Corrupted dat file - luckily it's not too much as a payout. I'll have to pay you out in BTC if thats ok? Give me until Friday and I will have the withdrawal processed. Apologies for the long and stressful wait" After they paid BTC equivelant of my UNO deposit, my activity with Coins-e Exchange was concluded. Currently, I have an open ticket with Cryptsy asking if my ~0.25 BTC withdrawal will be completed within 2 hours. No response after 10+ hours, I updated open ticket asking them to go ahead and cancel BTC withdrawal request and return BTC to my Cryptsy account balance. A few weeks ago, I had the same thing happen - BTC withdrawal confirmed and nothing happened, opened a ticket, told to be patient OR cancel withdrawal request and return funds to account. When/if BTC funds are returned to my Cryptsy account, I will likely buy whatever UNO is available and withdraw it somewhere more reliable.

Buy orders are building up from the 0.002s. Bitcoin rally may cause dump action into some of these levels. $UNO has inflation under control AND the ability to be withdrawn from Cryptsy quickly?! I want to go all in, but I'll stick to smaller periodic buys for now.

True. Just saw the recent ticker price drop sub 10k earlier today wtf....wow. Please stop the madnesszzz lol. I guess that's what happens when BTC pops and alts go to shit ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I'm interested in the potential of StartJoin platform so I got some $START at higher price earlier. Now I'm throwing a lot of spare BTC at any sub 10k $START.

When the time for innovation comes, it's best to exist in order to have a chance to implement it. Gold and silver money still exists with fiat and blockchain innovations. (How Vaultoro didn't reach it's minimum funding goal on https://bnktothefuture.com/ recently, I'll never know.) As long as Unobtanium survives it proves viability. If it's viable, it's valuable. Seems innovation takes time, execution, recognition, acceptance, etc... and UNO will be here.

Just lightened Cryptsy mega wallet by a few hundred $UNO. Also waiting to see if bids get filled in 004s and 005s. Looks like Startcoin is rising on mining reward halving event plus news Max Keiser will be on Alex Jones show soon.

A positive thing about the UNO community is that it's small. A negative thing about the UNO community is that it's small. I agree more can be done to develop the idea of $UNO as a crypto-commodity standard.
