41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGOX really is affecting me being able to feed my family on: June 04, 2012, 05:26:12 PM
Their withdraw problems from wire transfers to Dwolla delays is just too much now. Why is it that I have to complain here bout them for them to do anything about my delays? As soon as I do it's like they do me a small favor and clear a little of the lot of money I have withdrawn but still has not shown up in my accounts. I'm fully verified with them and was thinking about becoming a trusted member but it just seems like it's not worth it. I used to have a great relationship with them as they used to be the best at Customer support and quickness of withdrawing but it's gone down hill the last two months and now I find myself with investments in BTC with MTGOX that I'm not getting my paid and not being able to support my family because of the amount of money they have held up of mine. Something needs to be done about this. Please magicaltux or anyone from MTGOX tell us the truth of what's going on.

Hi Dirtydiego.

I am sorry to hear about your problem, do you have any open tickets?

Yes I do but I haven't heard back from you guys yet. My MTGOX name is the same as this one. Thank you for posting and trying to help  Smiley

I'm sorry if I'm repeating. I trust MTGOX as I have done plenty of business with them before. I just made a bad decision and I guess need to own up too it for taking so long.

Jermey please let me know when you will accept wire transfers again. We need more honest ex-changers like you. Thanks!

45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dwolla now purposely delays USD withdrawals from Bitcoin exchanges on: May 23, 2012, 08:59:56 AM
I just looked... I withdrew a couple hundred from Dwolla on 5/9 and it was posted to my bank balance on 5/10.   Another on 4/24 arrived on 4/25.

Not sure how it'll work now, w/ their new ToS.

My only problem has been it taking up to 10 days to transfer from MtGox to Dwolla.

It is now taking around 6 business days for Dwolla withdrawals to be processed provided that the amount is below 10,000 USD.  If you have any questions about your transaction, please contact Mt.Gox Support at support@mtgox.zendesk.com or submit a ticket at https://support.mtgox.com/home and we will help you look into this.

not true amounts as low as $200 are taking 6 business days or more now! ?

Seriously man, 3 weeks isn't something to just take a chill pill about. It should never happen.

Umm yes it is if you're not being clear on what your exact issue is.
And in lots of places 2-3 weeks is closer to the norm than the 2-3 business days it's supposed to take. One of the main culprits for transfers between non "Western" countries going as badly down the drain as it often does is someone like CITI-Bank who have policies in effect that make them hold onto cash for as long as possible for whatever sad excuse they can cook up and since in many cases wires are relayed through their networks it fucks with everybody.

Let's see if you get your funds that your fledgling BTC business needs urgently held up for 3 weeks and see if you feel the same way.

believe you me I know what you mean, the way things where looking for me I'm just happy to be getting it back FINALLY!but I do respect golden week and aas soon as it finished they go too it, for me at least. Thanks team MTGOX
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has anybody heard about that Silk Road scam? on: May 07, 2012, 01:37:20 AM
And how much would that respected individual have taken with?

I've read $100,00.00 of BTC was quoted but I doubt it.

wow! I doubt it was that much but I don't know about that site so who knows.... that's crazy though.... this would be one of the largest btc scam ever!
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funds “frozen” in TyGrr-Bot’s MtGox account. on: May 07, 2012, 01:21:49 AM
At least Paypal returns frozen funds back after 180 days...

is mtgox really not returning funds? what happens to that money? although in mtgox defense it doesn't take much to be honest and submit your verification and for go these problems which I'm hoping will happen for me this week although I'm already verified.....

Didn't you knew that Mark offered himself and his company to be DEA snitches?
Or is it bitches instead of snitches? I always get confused... Roll Eyes

http://uk.reuters.com/article/2011/06/15/financial-bitcoin-idUKN1510930920110615

All financial institutes are snitches whether in the US or not as if they don't comply with US financial disclosures then they will be cut out of the US financial industry.  It may also be illegal under US law to tell a customer they are calling the police or submitting a SAR.

Hopefully the Bitcoinica/Intersango thing will eventually turn into a new full-fledge spot exchange.

Don't hold your hopes for Intersango... Haven't you seen the thread where they locked the bitcoins of a dude who told them he wanted to withdraw the BTC to a silk road address?
Yeah, that was stupid of him Grin

you're joking right lol and the award to the worlds dumbest criminal goes too....

He is just saving his ass from legal us problems, I don't see what's wrong with mark doing that? I do see it wrong for it taking as long as it is to get my withdraw funds available to me when I'm already a verified member soon headed to trusted member if they resolve my issues. Please address this issue on my wire transfer and withdraws pending, thank you. I know you guys had a long vacation with golden week, welcome back but please get to work. Thank you!

Tomorrow will be 14 days after they already said it was processed just waiting to get to my bank when this should be instant once done from their bank....? They said golden week caused the delay, which i'm sure it did but my delays started way before this.... so I';m hoping tomorrow my transfer they said cleared on their end, actually clears
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGOX really having major issues! on: May 05, 2012, 02:47:07 AM
I have received the wire today, after 3 weeks. Panicked there a bit as well, but now it all looks good. Don't worry!

I doubt they had liquidity problems, just holidays..

awesome! glad to hear. Mine have been 3 weeks and they told me today that it would be done, because it says in their system as processed when it has yet to hit my bank. So they said since it's golden week it slowed things down but that they're bank got it done. Makes me feel better! I was seriously gonna have a meltdown lol
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGOX really having major issues! on: May 04, 2012, 01:44:48 AM
finally got a response.... now just hoping for the best!

Mt.Gox Support, May 04 10:27 (JST):
Hello,
Please be aware that your bank transfer is completed by our bank but may need several business days to reflect on your account due to Golden Week. Regarding your Dwolla transfers, they are still pending and will be processed within few business days. We will notify you as soon as this is processed.
Thanks,
MtGox.com Team

Well for starters like what country you're trying to wire funds to as that could be very relevant. Afaik (gossip heard while doing English training for a large bank here) there have been "delays" at several major banks here in China, Japan, Korea and from several US banks over the last month or so on wires to most watch-listed countries, I believe that that means AML etc for  countries with active terrorist cells like Pakistan, Thailand etc are being tightened even further.

If you're in a place like that expect a lot of hassle. I'm in China and am quite happy if wires show up on time (thank you Cryptox) but as a rule I expect wires to take at least a fortnight.

If you're in the US and using Dwolla apparently they have been screwing over btc related businesses over the last several weeks. An alternative to waiting for stuff like that might be joining #bitcoin-otc on freenode and trade your MT Gox cash (after cancelling your withdrawal) for some other form of cash with one of the WELL RATED AND RESPECTED members of it.

Well it's to the US and it's my business bank account. It's been 9 business days since my last wire. I have many of them and not one has cleared. It says in the MTGOX system that it went from "new" to "processed", which normally means I should have access to it. Or at least that's what it's meant in the past and still nothing. No word from MTGOX other than an run around for the last few weeks and now golden week to wait even longer.....

I respect their holidays but this transfer should have gone through before their week long holidays. Before I made  the transfer I had to cancel other withdraw methods with MTGOX because those were also taking very long.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGOX really having major issues! on: May 03, 2012, 12:06:22 PM
Dude,

Take a chill pill. They've publicly posted that they've been having issues with withdrawals and it's a major holiday in Japan at the moment. Furthermore you've shared bugger all about the withdrawal they've delayed etc making this entire thread into an even worse than Goat rant as he'll at least share the details so people have a chance to form an opinion.

Yes I know all about their major holiday golden week, however my issue are started weeks before that. What details do you want, all my wire pending and since when? where to start.....
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funds “frozen” in TyGrr-Bot’s MtGox account. on: May 03, 2012, 09:04:55 AM
Very good news from the Mt. Gox AML department.

"Hello,

We apologise, Mark hadn't fowarded that conversation onto us. In that case, what you have already submitted is fine, your account will be approved immediately. For AML2 status, we need hard-copies of the documentation you have already submitted, notarised and apostilled.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience."

We are looking into gaining AML2 status so we do not run into these issues again. We will contact them and ask specificity what documents they would like to have notarized and mailed to them.

We would like to thank Mt. Gox for responding quickly to the issues despite having a week long holiday.

glad you guys got through to them!!!!!     now team MTGOX how about getting to all the money you owe me?please
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MTGOX - International Wire Transfer Has Not Arrived After 24 Days on: May 03, 2012, 08:34:38 AM
Hi Everyone,

I know that you are all upset with the situation and that many of you are really frustrated. To be honest, a lot of small things occurring in a short period of time has caused some withdrawals to be delayed for certain customers. I can assure you that this is not a common issue, and only a small number of people are affected by this.

Now, while this will not help to solve the problem for the affected users, rest assured that we are actively working on improving the speed and reliability of our transactions, since it is for us of the utmost importance! Also we are working on a revamped withdrawal and deposit system that will be not only cheaper but also much faster and far more convenient that what we have today. I have no ETA for you on this, but we are working like crazy to make it happen soon

Once again, we are very sorry for the delays that some of you are suffering from, please remember that we are not stalling or forgetting you, we are working on it case by case!

What issues? Tell us more. Otherwise it just sounds like a company is about to bust. This is what usually happens just before a foreclosure.

I do not have all details since I am not directly link to this part of Mt.Gox. Anyway rest assure we are far from foreclosure, WAY FAR... Once again everything should go back to normal soon for the few of you how have been touch by this problem.

Regards

the few...well Im one of them, and you guys know who I am. Common get back on track this is too long to take to withdraw
