I'd guess that it's an accumulation of good news. most of this volume is coming out of China, if you take a look at the charts. It's quite impressive the massive amounts of volume we're seeing. something is going on.

yes, centralized services are quite vulnerable to these sorts of attacks. hopefully services will come out to solve this problem. one such proposed service is instadex, currently in development.

losing all your bitcoin must feel fantastic if you're using them for gambling! like a stupid from opiate use. beautiful feeling (not condoning drug use here!)

I can be pretty greedy, which might be why I like to gamble! the rush of gambling is the most fun part. win or lose, doesn't matter

Currently, my least favorite thing about bitcoin is that it costs less than 1,000$ per bitcoin. i'm awaiting the day of massive valuation

The word "Bitcoin" has become tainted within culture. Bitcoin is commonly associated with things like Silk Road, MT Gox, ect..all sorts of scandals. So, when marketing bitcoin, people are now talking about "blockchains" and not "bitcoins"

I haven't used bitcoin for online transaction yet, but once companies like amazon start accepting bitcoin I gladly will.

Seems like BLOCKCHAIN is becoming the hit word. People don't like what bitcoin is associated with...so, bitcoin is now blockchain! This is now blockchaintalk.org

Very interesting. Hard to anticipate that this volume will dissipate. Seems like this ball is rolling....onward!

you simply can't solve the problem of wealth equity with new money. It's human character. If you want to change it; change humans

I don't think faucets are bad. they encourage people to play a bit with their coins; maybe that's how they get into BTC

Seems to completely defeat the purpose of maintaining some sort of reddit thread integrity

The advertising isn't needed. Adoption comes with ease of use. BTC just isn't easy enough to use. If grandma can't use it, it doesn't need to be marketed.

A guy who looks like karples....probably pays for it

There is so much good news coming out. Maybe Bitcoin will never make it big, but I'd be surprised if we didn't see another pump. I'm exiting then

nothing around me accepts bitcoin. and I don't do much online shopping except for amazon; so I've had little opportunity to spend my BTC on soncumer goods
