41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: September 20, 2016, 02:09:59 PM
The presstab blockchain does not have any transactions for my wallet listed past September 1st. I am assuming this might be due to a fork / wallet change issue? Anyway, is there an update as to when it would be fixed ?

he's on the wrong chain yet/again

https://prohashing.com/explorer/Netcoin/

That one isnt correct either Undecided My wallet total is completely wrong. It is also missing a bunch of transactions between september 1 and september 19

it figures. I think my wallet is fubar. I cannot send transactions out of it. 34k+ coins, and cant get them out. Going to have to resync or something I guess.

It's a shame to see whats happening

Those of us that follow the coin have seen it coming for months now. BURST is a pretty significant and unique coin. Loving the bump up and expecting a lot more in the future with more developments coming!
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] VeriCoin PoST Currency | [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Reserve on: September 09, 2016, 03:59:44 PM
I am looking at this coin to possibly add to a BURST staking asset, with that being said could I get some feedback on the below questions?

How are the staking percentages looking for those of you that are currently staking?

How frequent are stakes?

How large are the stakes?

How much is your coin total ?

That isn't too bad. How good is the staking  or is that included in the MN calculations?

how often do masternodes get payments
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DARKNET [DNET] QRK ALGO - PoW/PoS on: September 07, 2016, 03:09:25 PM
Running masternode start via the debug console yields the following error:

Not capable masternode: can't detect external address. Please use the masternodeaddr configuration option. Nothing is mentioned in the initial post about having to do this, only using the default 127 / local loop address at least for a single master node.
It is not usually needed. I should just have s3v3n modify the instructions to include it, and, upon further review, I see that the start command is incorrect there, which is why you were entering it like that. I will let him know to fix that as well.

To use the masternodeaddr configuration option add masternodeaddr=<your external IP address> in darknet.conf.

edit: appears to be working. It didnt like using the nat address apparently.

Follow my guide in op. Step by step with pics.

https://github.com/Darknet-Crypto/Darknet/releases/download/v1.1.0.0/Windows.Setup.for.Darknet.Masternodes.pdf

I have followed the guide, created the address, created the key modified the conf, restarted the wallet, deposited the 10k and run masternode start. The port is open in the firewall, username / passwords are set for rpc, and have added the provided nodes in that document. Still get the same message.

I am trying to create a masternode, and I have followed the directions in the initial thread post, however trying to run darknet-cli master node start I get the following:

error: {code":-32601, "message": method not found"}

I have already created the masternode address and funded it with the 10k coins (exactly). If I try to run the master node start command before the wallet has started I get a different address. Is starting the master node like this even necessary ?

I am brand new to the coin so this is my first experience(s) with it.

One would need a bit more info to help you out. Is this a local or remote masternode? What OS is it on? It is not exactly clear if you are running the Qt wallet or the daemon. It looks like it would be the daemon given the command "darknet-cli master node start", but if you are running the Qt and issuing this command in the debug console that would explain the output you are seeing, you don't need the "darknet-cli" part there. Not quite sure what you mean by running the masternode start command before the wallet is started, that is not possible, and getting a new address, not sure what you mean by that, either. If you want faster help hop on slack or skype, link to the darknet skype chat is in the OP, shoot s3v3n a PM with an email address for a slack invite.

This is a local master node, Windows server 2008 R2, yes this is the QT wallet 64 bit. The darknet-cli is the command line, and not the debug window, however issuing the command via the debug window gives a similar error message. (same code, less verbose). As far as the masternode address is concerned, that is part of the directions in the initial post for creating a new master node..

Oh shit, I don't know why I didn't notice this before. Are you actually trying "master node start", or "masternode start"? The former is incorrect.

"master node start"

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | High PoS | Secure | MultiSend | liteStake | Adv Coin Control on: September 06, 2016, 06:16:56 PM
Just noticed something interesting...

- HYP can still be deposited and withdrawn on Poloniex
- XMR/HYP market still exists

0.1 BTC will buy you around 580k HYP (BTC -> XMR -> HYP) at an average price of 0.00000017 BTC

Note that I can't confirm it will actually work, but if anyone wants to grab some more before it's all done, give it a try... Cryptopia has nowhere near that volume.

Interesting. Not nearly as much volume as the BTC market. Going to try and trade it.

Good find! Lets see if that market will remain.

Currently the volumes are lower than in cryptopia, plus is XMR and not BTC, so it is an extra step.
From my point of view it does not make any sense.

It might be an extra step, but it keeps me from signing up at a crappy exchange like cryptopia, and can still sell / buy them on polo. Plus with the recent upswing of XMR that may not be a terrible thing. It is cheaper (currently) on Cryptopia, so might be a good idea to buy from there and arbitrage or hold what ever your choice is at this point.

I run a staking asset through burst coin, and had HYP as one of my main coins, so this puts a serious dent in the amount of dividends it would pay out. If the price can come back it will help, and maybe people knowing that HYP is still available on polo just on the XMR market, may help push the price(s) back up closer to what it was when the announcement came out.

Here is the reply I got back after submitting a request for HYP to be added to BITTREX:

Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we only add coins under active development with high community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. 56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoS coins on: September 06, 2016, 02:56:15 AM
Thanks for the replies guys.

Again I am looking for high interest well established coins that seem to have a good following and history to them.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / PoS coins on: September 04, 2016, 03:16:22 PM
Looking to find a top 10 staking coins, in terms of % return. I am looking for what would be the best 10 in regards to %return for month to month staking.

I am familiar with hyp hyper dmd bitb net ok and hodl, however I am looking for some more to test for staking and in particular looking for the best %returns, and obviously the ability to buy / sell them easily on an exchange if necessary. I know there are people here that prefer PoS coins vs PoW so just looking for a few more to play with. Suggestions ?

Something is definitely wrong with the wallet! I manually went through all of the transactions and totaled it all out.

My wallet is currently showing a balance of: 104587.97191254

All transactions calculated (not including bad blocks etc): 147574.725123599

For a total difference of: 42986.753211059

These coins have just POOFED out of thin air!!!

Can anybody explain it???  I had a total of 3 deposits to this wallet when I opened it, those amounts were:

3270.29180328
36147.47031969
107176.26976804

These combined totaled: 146594.03189101

yet my current balance total is still only saying 104587.97191254 and I have never transferred coins off this account.

Open your debug console and type:
scanforalltxns 0

coins appear in the explorer so they are on those addresses.

Dont worry, it is impossible for you to lose coins in OK if you own your wallet.dat (which holds the private keys for those addresses)

Correct, they are on the explorer, so pls backup your wallet.dat first, and then apply the suggested solution, as it will
re scan for the transactions to relay them properly on your wallet.

If you require further assistance, there are dedicated support channels among others over https://discord.gg/grvpc8c where we are glad to help.

I was able to get it working by running the wallet on a different server. Once I was able to do that, I was able to do my withdraws for the dividends I sent out, and the original wallet started displaying correctly after that. Must have just been a bug, really weird one I have to say. Never seen a wallet do that.

Well, all I have to say is that there is something majorly wrong with the OKCash wallet, or mine is just FUBAR beyond belief.

My initial deposits to my OKCash wallet totaled 146594.03189101, however, after staking for over 1 month and not doing any transactions other than restacking coins, my wallet balance is now sitting at 104587.97191254. Most of the transactions that were for restacking were for .00001, and while there were several, it didnt overcome the amount of stakes that I had PLUS an extra 39k coins. What is going on? Is there a file corrupted within the wallet ? Also the wallet on the blockchain is listing well BELOW even the numbers in the wallet itself.

Any feedback would be great!
