We have passed $600 a while a go and I do not believe that the price is going to be much lower then that again.
I think that you should buy now because the price is only going to get higher in the future.

It's about supply and demand, just like stocks. If people are positive they will want to buy more bitcoin then people are willing to sell, thus the price will go up.

I use Bitcoins in everyday life, I pay for goods in store, I buy online, I even pay my bills with it. I have Bitcoin debit card and that makes spending Bitcoin much easier. Explain to someone what is Bitcoin isn't that hard if that person has some basic knowlege about internet and virtual world and shows some interest. But the best way to see all advantages of Bitcoion is when you try it by yourself.
What debit card do you use? I'm looking for one but can't decide which one. There is a thread about reliable credit cards in the service discussion section. I am using both spectro coin and coinsbank, with those card it's finally possible to use bitcoin at shops etc. Something which is a must if you are into bitcoin shopping in real life. |

As the title says, is the halving good or bad for the price of bitcoin?
The halving will decrease the supply of bitcoin, whole keeping the demand, so that would make bitcoin worth more.
But the halving will make mining profitibilty worse, meaning less miners, a higher trans. fee, and maybe causing a smaller demand.
What's your verdict?
I think bitcoin will still go up, as the fees might, let's say, double, but that's still a smaller transaction fee than through the banks...
The halving is far from good to the bitcoin because there are allot of people thinking that the price is halving but that is not what it means the halving affects the blocks where miners are searching for so now you all know iut. |

Bitcoin cant make banks disappear because banks are not using bitcoins and otherwise also not they are investing into the bitcoin by them self so i dont think they would change money into bitcoins. |

Maybe in 2/3 years some very innovative features are added or a big company like facebook or twitter steps in. Then their will be no limit for the price..

I don't know if you have seen that a forum member's bitcoin funds has been seized. As the deal was through localbitcoin and "was not legal" it is a thread here but can't remember right now He is legendary and you can read his story, i think username burw or similar like that. But i think bitcoin is much better that banks but both have pros and cons. Bank is more practical because its the system everything is built around, but Bitcoin solve so many issues and concerns with Fiat and especially country-specific Fiat that it has its place alongside common currency for sure. Depending on what you plan is for your currency. Bank AND a Bitcoin wallet is probably the way to go. If its something specific like holding over a long time, it is probably best to use cold storage bitcoin wallet. If you want to make sure that your money is safe you should use the bank because bitcoin wallets cants make sure that your coins are safe into their wallets. So make sure your money is safe and use banks because the wallets are not very trust able thit years. |
