41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: May 01, 2016, 03:12:41 PM
1) There's no Physical Form. So it's harder to get stolen.

2) The price is stable and rising. Unlike those currency that got high inflation. So, BTC is a great money for investment.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: May 01, 2016, 02:42:12 PM
if bitcoin really down to 1USD. then I will spend all the money I have to buy as many bitcoin. I was pleased that bitcoin finally made me rich.
Why tho? It's useless to have a lot of money that worth nothing. It's better to invest your money to the newest most used currency than still believing the past.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: May 01, 2016, 02:41:16 PM
i think nothing is stoping people from using bit coin. it is the matter of trust. those people who have study bitcoins are suing it as currency. and most of the people are holding it for its price increas so those people who have no idea about bitcoin only these people are reluctant.

Then doubt is stopping people in using bitcoin. But we can't blame them if they don't believe that bitcoin is a true online currency.
That's the problem for the First World Country. While for the Second or Third world country it's because the need of English language and Technology.

There's still a lot of nation that still doesn't have internet. Even if they got internet, a lot of people didn't know how to use it.

44  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: May 01, 2016, 02:37:58 PM
i have used bitcoin as both so far.

as an investment i put my money in by buying bitcoin while i think the price is low and looks good then i hold or sometimes do some trading by selling and buying it back for profit.

but also i used it as currency to purchase games and pay for a couple services online.
I used by bitcoin for investing in altcoin to get some profit .

I used my other bitcoin for buying things i want , like games, food, even computer parts.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is doing something on Bitcoin Pizza Day? May 22nd, 2016 on: May 01, 2016, 02:34:08 PM
This still makes me cringe, as it wasn't that long ago.  That's what I'll be doing, cringing.  And I might order a pizza too but I'll be paying for it in fiat because there's still no one around who accepts bitcoin for pizza six years later.
Now there's a web that accepts bitcoin to order your pizza (http://pizzaforcoins.com/) That's pretty legit web to buy your pizza .

But yes. 10000 BTC is litteraly almost $7 million . Wonder what that guy thinking now about his transaction lol.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 01, 2016, 02:31:11 PM
Bitcoin has a market capitalization of 7 billion.

If you use Google, you can see that in contrast there are 1.45 trillion US dollars in circulation.

well one is limited by its limited usage still pretty young, the other is an ancient relic which is still being printed like no tomorrow

it's about inflation vs deflation, even so the last year there was no a big inflation for the usd
Every year USD got an inflation. US debt is the biggest in the world. That makes inflation rise up.

USD is still the world primary currency. Almost everything is counted in USD.

Bitcoin is still new. It will take time for them to be used by everyone in the world.

I am not quite sure about the games' one, but I do know that earning money through a signature campaign is good profit once you are a well established member. It probably pays out enough for them to shut. lol.  Smiley Smiley Smiley
Kids tend to like fun things rather than economical and technological things. Sig Campaign isn't a good way since they will need more informations about bitcoin first to post. Except if they like economy or even technologies things. Other than that, they will only post spam things.

48  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying stuff with paypal nowadays on: May 01, 2016, 12:38:44 PM
before bitcoin is famous i purchase things online using paypal, but for now i only used paypal in e-bay and amazon, eventhough in amazon we actually used paypal to purchase the gift card first and then used it, but for me paypal its not too convenient anymore
I agree. Paypal is mostly used for websites that still isn't accepting bitcoin as payment. Amazon, ebay, etc still isn't accepting one. So Paypal is still used for that purpose.

If Bitcoin got used universally for every websites in the world and even real life, then paypal will be bankrupt really fast since bitcoin is much better than paypal (especially the fees)

There's a lot of creative and fun faucets to play, maybe your kids will be interested in that.

Not as fun and creative as working at a sweatshop, but close.

Well. A creative faucets could cover up the faucets base and make it to be like a game. Kids love games. Playing games and earn money? heck, who doesn't want that?
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: April 30, 2016, 05:20:23 PM
Real Madrid certainly would not want to be out of title race early and so my bet is on Real Madrid ML @ 1.718 today.

The final score is Real Sociedad 0 - 1 Real Madrid. I expected Real Madrid to win more easily, but a win is a win.
Sociedad is a good defending team. Real Madrid didnt have their golden boy in the match (Ronaldo ofc).

Real Madrid play is isn't that good if ronaldo didn't play. That's going to be a problem for them in the champions.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 30, 2016, 05:18:00 PM
Aston villa is absolute rubbish team, they managed to hold the 1-2 score until the 90th minutes and in just few minutes they will get 3 points however their defenders is absolutely rubbish. 2 Goals in 4 minutes, including 3 minutes of injury time from T. Deeney and made watford won the game when people thought aston villa is getting 3 points which is miracle
After confirmed aston villa relegated they play worse, how can possible 2 goals from 1 man scored within 5 minutes?

Surprised season for aston villa, they should win the game but because they play without passion they lost in the end.
Aston Villa is utterly garbage this year. The only good player in their team is their middlefielder

The keeper is... ugh.... super slow reaction time and reflex. He's too fat to be a keeper in my opinion.

I think there's a game that rewards you with bitcoin if you play and win the game. But i forgot the name.

Your kids could try a fun faucets to earn some little bitcoins. There's a lot of creative and fun faucets to play, maybe your kids will be interested in that.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: April 30, 2016, 05:08:17 PM
If BTC dropped to $1, then there is another and better cyptocurrency than bitcoin.

When btc price dropped, i'll move all of my btc to that new and better currency. Better than keeping the money.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: April 30, 2016, 05:05:51 PM
What is a good amount to have? Is there some kind of club if you own a certain amount?  Like the 21 btc club or some shit? What is average, and big pimpin?

I never go lower than 21, is that good or bad?
to me 21 bitcoins is an extreme amount thats almost $12000 CAD. Never would i imagine myself getting anywhere close to that many bitcoins.
for me i usually stay about 2 bitcoins, unless i feel like the price is fairly low then i buy upto 4 maybe 5 coins.
1 / 2 Bitcoin is enough if you want to invest and sell it when the halving come. 21 is an overkill amount of btc.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought games from steam thread on: April 30, 2016, 05:04:46 PM
to be honest i still prefer g2a or akin, because i can found games at much cheaper price, i would use steam only for very good offer on some tittles, or for some indie games that you can not find on those other services, which is a rare thing anyway
For alot of times, yes G2A is much cheaper than steam. But when Summer sale or Winter Sale or other sale, the price of games in steam is cheaper.

G2A is great to buy new released games for cheaper price, while buying directly on steam is great for buying games in sales.
Yeah g2a has a cheaper price than steam and they are also have affilliate promo that you can get more cheaper in g2a..
Games in steam for me is high.. thats why i am still using g2a to buy games..
G2A is kinda unsafe if you dont use their shield thingy. You could get an used key or even fake key. But if you buy the shield, G2A tends to be cheaper.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: April 30, 2016, 05:01:47 PM
People hates Bitcoin because the media said so. Media usually cover up bad stories about bitcoin, not the good sides. That makes people think that bitcoin only used for bad things.

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How halving will affect big mining companies? on: April 30, 2016, 04:48:35 PM
Halving will affect the miners. Miners will be harder to earn bitcoin than usual.

If the miners having a hard time, they tend to find another job. The big companies will surely get weakened.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a coin valuable? on: April 29, 2016, 05:56:56 PM
A coin will be valuable if it's used a lot by a lot of people.

Or it became valuable if the price is high.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest-able Altcoins? on: April 29, 2016, 05:55:10 PM
I'm very surprised with FTC i thought this coin is long forgotten! This mean you can't lose money with alts,
if you dont sell under price. Just wait and someday it will be pumped.
FTC is almost dead yknow. The price is not increasing nor decreasing.

FTC owner is waiting for someone to sacrifice their FTC so there will be a pump.
