That's true and that is the reason people prefer bitcoins more over WU or banks when it comes to online remittances, as it is the fastest way to transfer money across the globe. |

I like to explain Bitcoin this way: "You know how you keep cash and your debit card in your leather wallet? I bet that gets bulky and annoying in your pocket after a while. Now imagine that you can take the best elements of having cash and a debit card, combine them and put that on your Android tablet. You wouldn't be able to spend money you don't have and paying for your purchases could be as easy as scanning a QR code and entering a password. Nobody can wreck your credit by hacking into servers owned or rented by your favorite retailers and selling your financial information or fraudulently running up a huge credit card bill in your name. That's Bitcoin." And people think that's a totally 21st-century-chick way of doing things when I explain it that way and wonder why their favorite retailers don't get with the program. That sort of thing could make Bitcoin, or at least a cryptocurrency of some sort, a top future currency.

It will not be the best currency I think. Of course it is more used in the future, but many people use also PayPal or dollar. Many people doesnt even know what Bitcoin is, and some of them dont even trust Bitcoin, so that is a problem. |

It is pseudo-anonymous. Its decentralization is also questionable. For example its development is mostly driven by one commercial company: blockstream. Mining is mostly done in China, and the same most trading volume is also in China. |

I think it has great potential in the future specially if the economical system somehow goes over the paper currency system, I don't know about completely overtaking paper money but would definitely be an interesting future currency.

Because of many reasons but I will name the most important here.
Safety.
If you follow security protocol on your computer and allow added security in your BTC wallet it's almopst impossible that someone steral your BTC funds.
Anonymity.
The same as above.
Flexibility.
You don't need to worry if you go to other country how much money you can bring with you, don't need to worry about currency exchange etc.
Your Bitcoin is always with you.
Profit
With BTC funds you can excpect profit in the future, when Bitcoin value increase.

Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency today but I don't think anyone knows which will be the best future currency because something new may come up and eclipse Bitcoin in popularity.

Actually i don't know why people believe they bitcoin will stay one and only currencies? We already have many currencies which have many differences, but their root is from bitcoin. In the next few years we will heve real revolution of new solutions maybee even better, who knows.. Today bitcoin is something really new and revolutionary but tomorrow?  |

I believe in the future we will be using only digital means of payment and paper money will be obsolete because paper money has a lot of drawbacks like the possibility to easily forge banknotes and getting robbed in the street etc. which can be avoided by using a secure digital wallet. Bitcoin is the first working digital money system that is secure, fast and has low fees so I think at present Bitcoin is maybe the best digital money solution for us. What will happen in the future and will Bitcoin still be the best technology I don't know.

1) There's no Physical Form. So it's harder to get stolen.
2) The price is stable and rising. Unlike those currency that got high inflation. So, BTC is a great money for investment.
