41  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: April 25, 2016, 07:55:27 AM
My prediction is around 700 USD before the end of the year. I think as a result of the halving the price will rise fairly significantly. I hope to see over 700 but I never like to make really, really outlandish predictions.

I think the 700 USD can happen in August or September. The end of the year price will be around $1100.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is hyping about bitcoin price in 2016 on: April 25, 2016, 07:54:27 AM
Everyone is hyping yes, but its true about the price, price will rise and everyone is excited to make profit.
If everyone dumps being excited, then it would be a huge crash.

Not every one will dump. I think the future of bitcoin is very bright. I will buy some when the price is lower.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: April 23, 2016, 08:32:40 PM
We are not that down again as you can see now you see that the value is now not that low it is just stable for a long time and I know many people dont like that value now.
But we have to accept that and wait for a higher value so we can sell it with more profit later if the price is going to rise in the future.

$10 per day up and down is very normal for bitcoin. In the past, $20 per day fluctuation was very normal.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 23, 2016, 08:31:05 PM
So now everybody know it is not about demand it is all about hype..

The Ethereum is useful. It can be used in smart contracts. No other coins can be that user at the present.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: April 23, 2016, 08:30:03 PM
I think the best altcoin to invest in 2016 is the Ethereum. It will become PoS in 2017. It is better to buy now and stake next year.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: April 23, 2016, 08:29:08 PM
ElioVp can i ask you hardware configuration for 6x ring with Nano? H81 mb? Dual power?

Sure thing.

H81 Pro BTC
Intel Celeron G1840
8GB Ram
6x powered usb risers.
Lepa G1600 or G1700 PSU
So single PSU, works perfectly (i can push all 6 GPU's to their maximum with an undervolt).

I'm ready testing my latest rom. Reduced again some watt, not that much but worth it again.

Will upload and share this today or tomorrow.

Greetings!

So.. do you power every single riser and don't use power connector for pcie of H81?

Waiting for update... I'm doing something similar but you do it better Smiley

For the H81, you need to plug two molex connectors to the motherboad. So you do not need to use all the powered risers. I use 3 powered risers.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: April 23, 2016, 08:27:13 PM
Let me explain.  Bitcoins are constantly being created (mined) but bitcoins are constantly being lost also.  The number of bitcoins created per year is decreasing (by design) and we could assume that the number of bitcoins lost keeps increasing every year.  If this is true, then at some point the total number of bitcoins available (not lost) would decease because more are being lost than being created.  If it hasn't started happening yet, it will sometime in the future.
for sure there are bitcoins being lost every day. idk if the amount being lost is greater than the amount being mined. imo i dont think it is.
but in the future the overall number of bitcoins is only going to go down which is why many people invest in bitcoin.

Roughly 3600 btc mined every day, so no, the amount of lost coins every day isn't even close to comparable to the number of newly created coins.

Exactly! And even if the number of the lost coins were greater so what? How this can be a bad thing or something that put Bitcoin in danger? I think even if half of the coins existed were lost Bitcoin would still function normally as it is now.

Yeah it runs based on the technology without considering the mined coins. At the same the circulation of bitcoin is surely affected or reduced. This will have some impact over the bitcoin price.

I think the percentage of circulation will increase in the future. That is because more people will use it.
48  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: April 23, 2016, 08:26:02 PM
The bitcoin is in the long term up trend. So it is better not to sell it. When there is a big pump, we can sell.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: April 20, 2016, 06:07:44 AM
BTC  will surely gone to 700 us dollar. and highest price will be 1700 us Dollar.

Isn't 1700 usd a bit high, everything can happen last time the highest was 1.2-1.3k but personally i think that it can reach 500-700 at max.

The $1700 is quite high. I think that price is not sustainable this year. The price could hit that value, but it will come down.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 20, 2016, 06:06:27 AM
ETH will strong to 0.03 Huh

At the moment, the price of Ethereum dropped to 0.019. It seems the correction will last several months.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: April 20, 2016, 06:05:35 AM

I will share my second rom as well. I will edit the op.

This one is even more energy efficient.
Although it is set at stock 800Mh Core clock. (you can up this to 1000 in afterburner if needed).

Greetings.

What is the difference between this one and the previous one? Did you change other voltages or something else?
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: April 20, 2016, 06:02:57 AM
Be very careful with anyone promising you interest on your BTC!
Countless of these "services" can simply vanish overnight, stealing your coins. It has happened many times in the past and will continue happening in the future.

That is the reason I like the conventional bank to adopt the bitcoin and offer service based on the bitcoin.

I think if bank will adopt bitcoin the price of bitcoin will stabilize or down because banks and government will manipulate it for their own good even do bitcoin is free for now maybe it is good to the bitcoin to be anonymous and no bank should hold it. Maybe its ok to us to remain their because we earn already by its flow.

When many banks adopt the bitcoin and it becomes a global currency, it is difficult for several governments to manipulate.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: April 20, 2016, 06:01:44 AM

There a lot of issues right now with bitcoin and it needs to be fixed before the halving comes, just like the slow confirmation that is happening.

slow confirmation because of the low fee transaction. and maybe bitcoin will be down next month because of the low fee trans Huh

slow confirmation time is only because the fee of that tx id wasnt enough.

but eventually what youre talking about is similar how paypal has low fees to do the same thing, which would be the hard task for bitcoin.

kinda confused how the value of tx id prices would work out.

If the block size is small and every body pays the higher fee, the transaction time is still slow. We need to increase the block size.
Yeah you right the transaction will slow even you pay 100k satoshi the speed still slow and i think only block need to change so that the speed of transaction too will change..

The recent transaction does not take too long term. Maybe there is less bitcoin transactions. it is not a good sign.

You need to pay very little transaction fee now. There are fewer transaction and confirmation time is fast.

Maybe the bitcoin is still not very popular and the stress testers are not sending the dusts to stress the network.
Right now the standard fee of 0.0001 will be enough to get your transaction confirmed within a few blocks, but that just shows that the network isn't suffering as much from the dust attack anymore.

At the peak of all the dust transactions waiting for their first confirmation you would need to include around 0.0002 to get your transaction confirmed within a few blocks. 0.0001 was not enough at that time and could take your transaction more than an hour to get its first confirmation.
Yeah better to stay default the fee 10k sat is enough you dont need to pay more because its the same speed sometimes it takes 10 minutes and some times more than 30 minutes before you can receive the transaction..
I hope it will fix after block halving but i think the problem thats why the transaction is slow because of block size..

The slow transaction is mainly due to the small block size. If the block size increase to 2MB, the situation will improve.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Affordable motherboard for GPU mining? on: April 18, 2016, 08:29:27 AM
For the mining with big PC memory, most of the home miners will not be able to take part in. We usually have less than 16 GB.

Agree. I also think that I would not be as effective as mining with a GPU or CPU. You would get better performance with a GPU than RAM memory, in my opinion. A good way to bring mining to everyone would be a specialized ASIC mining chip from within a smartphone or tablet. That would be very ideal and would help bring crypto currencies to the masses.  Grin

Yes. But that will deplete the battery very fast. maybe the graphics with the PC is the best way to mine.

For me, I will never use the portable device to mine. That is bad for the battery life and battery costs money.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: April 18, 2016, 08:27:49 AM
Did they (AMD) forgot the ROPS on again?

What do you mean by that?

Can we disable the GPU parts which are not used in the computing so as to save energy?
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: My BTC Prediction for 2016.. on: April 18, 2016, 08:26:05 AM
BTC  will surely gone to 700 us dollar. and highest price will be 1700 us Dollar.

I m 100% agree with you that in this year when halving coming than automatically Bitcoins price will grow up. and it will be reached at the top of $700 .

After halving the price could be around $700 to 800. Then it will also go up due the block size increased to 2MB or higher.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: April 18, 2016, 08:19:07 AM
I wouldn't build any new rigs just ethereum mining.

Existing rigs repurposed would be fine (Hi Phil).

If you're building a rig for something else (like I did this past week) running it as an ethereum miner for a while to defray PART of the cost is a usefull thought.

The way the price keeps drifting down and the diff keeps climbing makes achieving ROI on a new-built rig look pretty iffy at this point.

Also the Ehtereum will become PoS early next year. The huge amount of GPU will have to find anther coin to mine.

I want to bid 0.017.

Please Let me know if i win.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining these days? on: April 13, 2016, 02:09:58 PM
Ethereum is improving rapidly, but be careful with scammers/doublers because they are now targeting Eth coins.

This is a real mining location, real people, real equipment.
100% trusted

The Genesis mining has the real equipment. But we do not know if they have enough to support all the mining hashing.
The problem about eth is that is becoming non profitable very very fast... I would not invest in cloud eth mining now

If you invest in cloud mining when the price was $1799/100 MH/s, you might make some money, but not now.
