41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund - LARGEST Crypto Crowdsale In History on: June 13, 2017, 06:10:54 PM
Hi, sorry in advance, I have gone back a few pages but need to know if I can send my MGO directly to my bittrex ETH wallet.  I see it is hitting the exchanges soon so I am scrambling to figure this out. thanks!
when bittrex list MGO there should be a separate address you send your MGO to not directly to the ETH address.

Thank you for answering. I am a noob with ETH wallets, I have JAXX, does that work?

Definitely having trollbox withdrawal, checked it everyday and if sifted through the crap u could connect with other cryptoheads and sometimes find pertinent news.  Undecided

This looks all so promising.  As an avid Instagram user I am very excited to see this project come to fruition and what a great way to introduce crypto to the masses.  Well done.
46  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: CoinFest 2017 on: February 26, 2017, 05:19:36 PM
This will be my first CoinFest and I am going to the Omaha one, I am having a hard time finding any info whatsoever about the location in Omaha or a schedule.  I will need to book a hotel and want to pick a few days to attend.  Anyone going to Omaha or have a link?  Thanks

Not sure what the plan in Omaha is, yet. I linked the organizer to your post, though, so hopefully he replies.

Some of the other events have already been posted, though. CoinFest UK is looking great, and we just posted the Vancouver event to Meet Up and Facebook. More awesome details, soon, but the schedule and location are set in stone.

Thank you for passing this along.  Would love to make it to Vancouver this year but Omaha is best option.

Hi, I made Luada's SMAS list in mid January.  I was posting infrequently due to helping with a family health emergency since early December which I can prove with medical records.  When I did log on to post I think it was considered too many posts in one day.  I have not been posting much lately and have no signature.  I am not sure I want to be in a campaign anymore, just want the blacklist removed if possible. Thank you.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good coins on Bittrex that aren't on Poloniex? on: February 05, 2017, 03:06:29 AM
BitBay BAY - seems like a legitimate decentralized commerce gig
AEON - very interesting with good development
SolarCoin - strong community and interesting development

Of course do your own research before investing in any of these.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Filthy scammers, cheats, hackers, thieves, conmen, fools and protestants. on: January 30, 2017, 12:32:34 AM
I have wondered this myself.  When I first got into Bitcoin in early 2015 I was apprehensive because there was much talk about hacking, stealing, exchange funny business, etc. I am not sure why it attracts idiot thieves.  The concept of this technology is far too cool for all of these scamming idiots.  There are plenty of thieves within all of the current national currencies now and have always been but bitcoin thieves tend to be the norm.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: January 19, 2017, 09:32:59 PM
Whales you say?

Actually, the one thing we DON'T need are whales. Whales are in for the short term profit and out leaving the rest of us holding the bag when the price drops. If you don't agree, go back to the ICO and then tell me we need whales. What we DO need is marketing and David has started down that road, and things are looking up.

It's a real shame crypto isn't valued for the tech alone. This project has some rather formidable technology and would certainly be a top ten if that were the case. But, emotion and profit rule this industry and you have to play to both of them to be successful. So, now that the tech is being finalized, we can do just that. I ask everyone reading this to assist with the marketing in any way you can. David is on the right track but, he is an army of one, lets join in shall we?

PS: If you are serious about getting BAY listed on Poloniex, I suggest everyone fill out their "Coin Request Form" here: https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

Totally agree with you about whales, they are not needed for this coin to become successful.  Bitbay holders seem to be people that believe in this project. I would love for bitbay to replace the other "bay" that has become a wasteland to sell goods.  David has done a great job and all it is going to take is the right attention at the right time to move this coin up on the list.  I am filling out the coin request as well.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SLR] SolarCoin | PoW to PoS v. 2.0 | Solar Proof of Generation (§1 = 1MWh) on: January 18, 2017, 07:14:58 PM
After one year of collecting Solarcoin on an exchange I have downloaded the wallet to my computer and sent my coins to my wallet from Bittrex.  Bittrex shows that it went through but I don't see anything in Solarcoin wallet yet.  The blockchain says it was received.  Is this just my old computer not working correctly with the wallet or is this normal for it not to show up in wallet for a bit? Thanks

If you're fully in synch, it should show. Did you do a clean install of the newest wallet? The wallet is a little finicky, but once you get everything set up, it works properly. How long has it been? Bittrex is slow on many coin transactions.

Thanks for your fast response.  It works now after I resynched the wallet.  My solarcoins are now safely off an exchange for the first time in a year!

54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: January 18, 2017, 01:03:04 AM
When it shoots up I usually sell some and put it into my favorite alt coins because they are usually down when bitcoin is up, then as bitcoin stabilizes for awhile money goes back into altcoins.  I am not an expert trader and it is hard to predict what bitcoin is going to do, this is just what I do.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's coins rights on: January 17, 2017, 07:36:49 PM
Satoshi's coins are such an interesting topic but it is preposterous to think that they should be hardforked out.  It is very mysterious as to why they have never been touched as Satoshi would have many reasons to do something with them, but at the end of the day they are Satoshi's and no one else's business.

Interesting project and looks like there is a lot of talent on the development team.  I like that any level of investor is the target for the market, I will be marking this and checking back on it later.
57  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earn & Learn Bitcoin on: January 16, 2017, 05:16:06 PM
Great concept!  I have earned next to nothing over the years with the google ads or amazon affiliate program and have given up a few times even though I had many viewers and followers.  I would be interested in re-starting some of my blogs if I can earn bitcoin.  I am always looking for interesting ways to earn bitcoin!  One question - does my blog have to be about bitcoin or is it any type of content to participate?
58  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-06] Death & Bitcoin: How I Prepared My Family’s Digital Inheritance on: January 16, 2017, 02:29:48 AM
This is such important information and something that a lot of people don't think about, even young people (who are more likely to have digital currencies anyway).  I was just talking about this to my spouse the other day and we have everything written down and I feel comfortable with our plan. Putting it in a will is a good idea too.  Great article and I hope many people see this.
59  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-14]Nigeria Warned its Citizens About Onecoin and Bitcoin This Week on: January 16, 2017, 02:25:58 AM
Really?  "use extreme caution".  Just another government afraid of btc and digital currencies and their citizens finding alternatives to local currencies.  Third world countries could especially benefit from a global digital currency that all citizens have access to.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 12, 2017, 04:23:39 PM
Great use of the Nietzsche quote, it very much applies to people not getting bitcoin.  I also feel that people don't want to get bitcoin because the general population is afraid of what they do not understand.  At this point I only discuss bitcoin with people that appreciate innovation and technology, it is frustrating to attempt it with others.

I think that a major price increase will eventually force people to understand it, especially if it becomes their only way to pay for their McDonalds.
