This stuff normally happens to PoS coins when seed nodes time go out of sync or offset but not sure if that would be relevant to PoW coins. Maybe its someone making a huge amount of micro transactions clogging the memepool? |

the fuel price ranks of the world are based on a dollar valuation.. not based on each's nations % of average income(domestic value)
kazahk's seen their prices DOUBLE from 60tenge (local currency) to 120tenge (local currency)
what you have to realise is that
60tenge is 14cents
what you also have to realise is that kazahk minimum wage is
22,859tenge which is $68 a month
american minimum wage is $1160 a month
us car fuel prices are $0.98 a litre
which is if we used say 1000 litres = $980 = 84% of income for 1000litres (0.084% of minimum income per litre)
now lets take this same 1000 litres = 60,000tenge = 262% of income for 1000litres (0.262% of minimum income per litre)
then this week that 0.262% of income per litre became 0.524% of income per litre
meaning a kazahk if spending all his income on fuel can only drive for 190litres worth of distance a month
meaning a kazahk working 5 days a week 4 weeks a month. to work and home. if they use just 4.7 litres per journey.
then they are spending their whole monthly income just getting to work
no food, no bills, nothing else can be bought
0.524% is bad economy compared to americas 0.084% economy
yes kazahk are based on income value. paying 6x more then america are. based on 'value'
This explains it well. I only was looking at the overall price of gas in comparison to other more expensive countries but looking at this makes it understandable why they are rioting. |

I am on the old wallet also because when I put the wallet .dat in the new client it won't sync or even get a connection but old wallet is working.
I thought the seeds were hardcoded the newest version works fine with me. You could also try syncing clean with the new then importing your private keys into it so the balance would be in your new wallet then backup and save the wallet.dat? EDIT: happy new years MFs! develCuy has a link on Syscoin NEVM to the Devcoin Foundation account where former Devcoin Project developer sidhujag (now lead of Syscoin Project) donated 3443 SYS to the DF account! Today in fiat that value = $4062 USD Thanks Dan. I will try it again with the new version but having to resync the whole blockchain is not easy for me because I have a very bad internet speed making it take a day or two and sometimes it disconnects before it syncs causing it to go back to the beginning which is very frustrating so I wanted to just load up new wallet with all the old executable files in the appdata folder and work from that but it wouldnt work the few last times I tried so just stayed with the old wallet. My Objective is diametrically opposed. When we actually thought Covid 19 has been handled,the virus is still proving stubborn despite the efforts by the medical practitioners around the world.
This is when the vaccine is suppose to be taken seriously and made compulsory to every body,to avoid the spread of the virus,if not,it will get to the extent that humans will find it difficult to handle it.
I think we should still maintain the preventive measures,social distancing,regular washing of hands and also avoid over crowding and using the nose mask continually.
