41  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5.5TH/s] Ozcoin Pooled Mining |DGM 1%|PoT 2%|PPS 3%|Stratum+VarDiff port 80 on: April 19, 2013, 10:45:22 AM
Oh geez, I was already wondering why I got the mail "ozco.in Automatic Payout Notification", but didn't receive the payment and didn't see it on the blockchain.

I'm on the list for "-8.75307302".

I'm really feel bad for Graet, and I could very well understand this would make him sick Sad.
He tries to do his best, and then all this sh*t is happening.

I'm with you Graet, i'm with you; I keep supporting you and your pool (even though what you now going through).
42  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5.5TH/s] Ozcoin Pooled Mining |DGM 1%|PoT 2%|PPS 3%|Stratum+VarDiff port 80 on: April 18, 2013, 10:42:01 PM
I know payment was withhold for PPS, however as Graet now moved all users to DGM i'm having an open balance of about 7 BTC (confirmed).
My payment threshold is currently 2.0 BTC.

Are ALL payments (of any mining type) currently suspended?
43  Other / Off-topic / Re: Avalon unit arrived in a badly damaged condition. on: April 18, 2013, 08:30:42 PM
Questions to the community:

Is there some Avalon owner who found himself in a similar situation?
Any advice how to best handle this?
Obviously, it is preferable to fix the unit on spot and not waste time on return and replacement, as it may take god knows how long...

I've had a similar thing. Luckily the insides were not looking as destroyed as yours.
Packaging outside and inside looked perfect, when unpacking I noticed several cut corners and even bend alu what holds the screw and bolt.

Mine hashes away fine after I opened it, reconnected all etc. not sure who to blame too, as packaging itself was perfect shape...

As the unit does what it needs to do, I accepted it, and not even contacted Yifu about it...

45  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: April 16, 2013, 06:18:41 PM
For what ever reason I've also the idea that on ozco.in i'm mining 'slower' than on BTCGuild / Slush.
However, I'm not sure if there is a way to 'prove' that.
46  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: April 16, 2013, 05:37:30 PM
Can anyone tell me, if these are normal values for the avalon. HW error seems still pretty high. Updated to 20130410 (next-testing) firmware recently. Cgminer runs at 282M(Advance):

  • => SUMMARY
[Elapsed] => 41011
   [MHS av] => 67092.46
   [Found Blocks] => 0
   [Getworks] => 1495
   [Accepted] => 9909
   [Rejected] => 52
   [Hardware Errors] => 827
   [Utility] => 14.50
   [Discarded] => 2785
   [Stale] => 0
   [Get Failures] => 0

Can there be anything else done? Am I loosing lots of coins due to that high error-rate?
Dude,
Your utilty seems low as i see it.It is possible to have loose cable and one of your modules not to hash at all. Disasemble unit and check all cabels
My utility is about 22 if i rember which makes sense you are mining with two modules only

I've 15.7 and are mining with 71-78ghs with extreme mode, I suppose that's normal?
47  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: April 16, 2013, 05:08:44 PM
I've exactly the same, so I guess it's nothing to worry about.
Also heard xiangfu is working on a new firmware to reduce the hw errors.

I would like to know what are acceptable levels in regards to temperatures...
48  Local / Markt / Re: [WTB] Fiets 4 BTC - Amsterdam on: April 15, 2013, 07:20:39 PM
Ik zal ook ontmoeten in een andere stad, zolang het niet te ver.

No offence, most bikes 2nd hand that are being sold for low prices are stolen.
Even via sites as Marktplaats.nl.

I advice you to change your 4 btc in fiat, as for 300-400 euro you could buy a new/mint bike at "de fietsenmaker".
And don't believe it, but even home improvement shops as Gamma, Karwei and Praxis sell bikes in that price range.

Could somebody tell me how much bandwidth an Avalon consumes in KB/s? My connection is 800 KB/s down and 100 KB/s up, but is also needed for browsing, downloading etc.

See screenshot, hopefully this helps you
http://postimg.org/image/416uj0y3t/

Thank you!

I just live on the wrong side of the road. A few hunderd meters up north and I would have 200MB/s up/down....

That's with 'extreme' mode, so chips on 300mhz.
Could imagine that gives a bit more traffic, and as you see on the screenshot it's very limited data usage.

I actually have 120mbps/10mbps, so no issues here with that. But have to admit I expected a bit more traffic, so pleased, can use more bandwidth for leeching Smiley.
50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My avalon has smone trouble.avalon stop again:-( on: April 15, 2013, 06:58:13 PM
I use lastest FW, and just 1hour ago, one of them stopped working.

Cgminer is running ,but hash is 0 Mhz. I try all firmware, and restart ,it doesnt work.

Old Fw say it is sick.

what's wrong? Asic chips are broken?? Huh

 Huh

I understand your frustration, as I have the same issue.
Didn't find a way around it yet.

I did install last Saturday a testing version of the firmware, since then no lockups anymore...
http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/xiangfu/avalon/next-testing/

Edit: when my Avalon showed sick, I've opened the unit and reattached all cables and power cycle the machine. Since then I didn't see the sick status anymore

What are safe temperature levels for the Avalon units?
I'm looking currently at T1: 27, T2: -1, T3: 46
Where T3 fluctuates between 44 and 47.

Also I'm having for ~20 hours of mining 1150 HW errors, is this usual?

The status screen anyways brings up alot of questions, in sence of; what do all the abriations mean (didn't find it on the wiki, and I'm pretty new to mining).
53  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [8500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: April 14, 2013, 11:37:26 AM
Hi,

I've got some translation suggestions for Dutch language selection;

Under "My account"
"Threshold om te versturen" -> "Uitbetalen bij"
"Coins zullen verzonden worden eens de beloning de over de threshold gaat" -> "Coins zullen worden uitbetaald zodra de totale beloning over de ingestelde drempel gaat"
"Ongeconfirmeerde beloning -> "Onbevestigde beloning"
"Beloning in afwachting zijnde van ongeconfirmeerde blokken" -> "Beloning in afwachting van onbevestigde blokken"
"Geconfirmeerde beloning" -> "Bevestigde beloning"
"Uw geconfirmeerde balans van geldige blokken" -> "Bevestigde balans op basis van geldige blokken"
"Ongeconfirmeerde + geconfirmeerde beloning" -> "Onbevestigde + bevestigde beloning"

For list of workers (table)
"Log in" -> "Gebruikersnaam"
"Suggested difficulty" -> "Voorgestelde moeilijkheidsgraad"
"Editeer" -> "Aanpassen"
"Verwijder" -> "Verwijderen"
54  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] BTC Creditcard (prepaid, but with BTC charging) on: April 14, 2013, 08:56:27 AM
I want one too! The only one I've heard of, is one coming out by Bitinstant.

You can get on the waiting list for one here.

Thanks, as far I'm aware I already registered myself with that doc.
There is a second party though, from Poland a party called BitCurex.

People should be able to buy it from their shop (shop.bitcurex.com), but it in maintenance forever Smiley.
55  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling a Bulova watch on: April 14, 2013, 08:53:03 AM
If you can send me your email, I can set up an escrow transaction. I don't want to part with the watch for less than 1.8 though, so would that be alright for you instead?

PM sent, I think we can work it out...
56  Economy / Goods / [WTB] BTC Creditcard (prepaid, but with BTC charging) on: April 13, 2013, 11:28:53 PM
I'm looking for a creditcard, one where I charge with BTC, and converts it into EUR (and with conversion USD) prepaid-balance.
As far as I'm aware Bitcurex was selling these; i've been trying for a few days to buy one via their website, but it seems down for maintenance.

Perhaps there are other parties that offer a similar service.

57  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling a Bulova watch on: April 13, 2013, 11:01:57 PM
It would ship from Austin, Texas with whatever whipping you want (most likely covered by me)

I would definitely be willing to accept Escrow, I'll set it up and get back to you shortly.

Also, if you want any pictures, just ask!

Pictures would be highly appreciated, and escrow too (perhaps you can ask John)...!
58  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling a Bulova watch on: April 13, 2013, 10:38:00 PM
Seriously interested.
Where is it shipped from?
Willing to sell with Escrow?

I'm bidding, if it's in the state you are writing: 1.4BTC
59  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcurex.com - Win BCC at MintRace Weekend #2 on BitMinter.com on: April 09, 2013, 07:43:16 PM
Still have these cards available?
If so, is it already possible to order cards on name?

How does this handle with the nameless cards anyways? As I'Ve in the past got declined payments due to misspelling of the name, also many operators require to fill in a name or can you use a random name?
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Survey about the status of Avalon batch 1 deliveries on: April 06, 2013, 03:35:37 PM
Not received my 1 unit order;

Date of order: 19 november 2012
Date of confirmed payment (wired): 22 november 2012
Ordernumber: #20000079x

No tracking known, neither status of shipment itself...

Called DHL, shipment on it's way.
Unless I receive a box of bricks, I suppose I'll receive my shipment soon (probably saturday or monday)!

Unit was received yesterday.
Aluminium was at some edges damaged, but unit seems to be hashing away fine.
