41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: May 05, 2024, 05:23:00 PM
I might have used like a $500 worth of crypto to buy some topup and giftcards, a $500 more in crypto to buy games and expansion packs and an exact $250, I withdrew as cash. Other than that all the profits I made in Crypto were reinvested in crypto. Thought the reinvestment ratio is more than 90%, I have not achieved the same level of success as on initial coins I buy. There have been multiple ups and downs in crypto and I have lost several times on hacks and bad investment choices. I would have felt better if I had withdrew all of my profit from my seed investment.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newcomers, Moonboys and Fools on: May 05, 2024, 05:03:27 PM
What you have said is correct. That's why I stick to the tried and trusted coins and trade on waves to get profits. I don't explore around much. Though I'm neither a successful trader or investor yet but I have learned much just form being in the market. I plan on keep increasing my stake on cryptocurrencies. I'm just using my long term savings at the moment an 90% of my buy are for the coins I plan to hold multiple years. Crypto has outperformed all the stocks or gold and it's not a surprise that more people are moving to it. But the huge money in short term could be a good thing for old investors but would make crypto market more risky.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most "Memecoins" are not even coins, most "Memecoins" are tokens on: May 05, 2024, 03:57:24 PM
When it comes to memecoins, it needs to be mentioned: Most "Memecoins" are not even coins, most "Memecoins" are tokens.

Often, it is just a marketing move to designate a crypto asset as "Coin" but in reality, it's a token.

A coin is based on its own, unique Blockchain, like Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin
A token is based on an existing Blockchain, like Ethereum tokens (for most ICOs) or based on BNB (for many Memecoins).

And today, most "Memecoins" are not even coins, most "Memecoins" are tokens. Keep in mind when investing.

A coin based on a side chain is generally called a token but there's no rule that prevents us from calling it coins. There are less and less coins with their own blockchain and still we call all of them cryptocoin. It's good to know what has its own blockchain and what not but technicality of strictly using the term coin and token are not worth it.
Ethereum first introduced the token system in blockchain but they used the term sub-currencies for coins that are generated using its token system.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Altcoins under $0.1 to Buy in May on: May 04, 2024, 01:57:56 PM
Explore top 5 altcoins under $0.1: shiba, bonk, VeChain, rubic, skale. Uncover prime picks in our May Crypto market analysis guide.

https://neobloga.com/2024/05/02/top-5-altcoins-may/

I fully agree about bonk. They are a meme coin that is going to have a shiny future. Shiba Inu too is great but I'd place other coins like BOME and MEW.
Vechain used to be a China based coin with a different name and it was more popular in the past, I haven't followed the coins development recently but I'm not bullish on utility coins. They are either saturated or don't have a real use case. I guess Vechain was supposed to track products and retail things, that don't sound like a good niche on online shopping trend. I'm new to Rubic and Skale.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $5k Shiba Inu vs NEAR on: May 04, 2024, 09:46:00 AM
Hello guys,

I wanna invest 5k into either Shiba or NEAR, hold it one year and then sell. Which one would u prefer in terms of expected 12 months future gains?

For gains in a year, Of course, Shiba Inu. It's a memecoin and for it, staying relevant is enough for it to be a good investment anytime. Shiba Inu is the leader of memecoins.
I might have recommended Near protocol a couple of years ago but not now. Any utility coin that has no utility for over three years of its existence is a failed coin.
The times are fast and the competition fierce. Any utility token that are not in spotlight are dying. Be it Near protocol or Cardano. If you need to give your portfolio of a few more utility coins, look for newer coins from last year.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: May 04, 2024, 05:40:38 AM
Maybe you know already: we have good coin and we have bad coin. While Bitcoin is very good coin, TRON is bad coin and here is why:

- TRON didn't achieve any additional technological advance compared to existing coin
- TRON is only launched because Justin Sun hates Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum
- Justin Sun failed to compete against Ethereum. Ethereum is much better, has much better technology and better developers
- Justin Sun just SHILLS his shitcoin TRON instead of implementing a better technology

Everyone should know, how fraudulent TRON really is.
Avoid bad coin like TRON.
TRX may be the most popular coin in terms of volume but it lags behind in terms of development just like Ripple.  Most of the TRX investors are very disappointed with all the above issues and many investors have changed the TRX platform to invest in other platforms.  If Justice Sun can fix the TRX's development trend in the future, maybe the TRX could go into a good price correction in the future.

I might have defended Tron in the past but no more. It's not that we'll need a lot of these coins and platforms to issue more and more tokens and memecoins. People would no longer disperse their money everywhere. The specific platform needs to stand out and offer, ease, comfort and reliability to developers and users. Tron has for years failed to do that. There used to be a popular coin called NEO in the past, they might have rebranded but it's nowhere to be seen now, the same fate is being developed for Tron. If the stay as they are, they'll be pushed out from Top 100 by marketcap in next bull run.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are your holdings ready for this altcoinseason? on: May 03, 2024, 05:11:04 PM
I'm feeling the pressure not to miss out on this bull run. I'm confident in my portfolio of solid coins, but I don't think they're quite cutting it. I want my investments to bring in serious wealth. I've heard about meme coins making people rich overnight, but I'm a bit wary of jumping into that arena. By the way, do you think older coins will see the biggest price surges compared to newer ones? What are your thoughts on this?

The fear is real. We all do agree that there is an imminent bull in the horizon but there are still doubts about how far and how good. There are other doubts like to meme or not to. Investing in bitcoin could be secure but it's hard for bitcoin even to hit a x2 while memecoins can do x100 in matter of days. The greed don't let us to diversify in a good ratio and jumping between coins for small moves would make us lose more in fees. And the final descision is whether to loan or not, this might be risky but the reward are immense.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana price predictions and developement? on: May 03, 2024, 03:15:23 PM
Does solana network ready for huge demand?
What you think of solana price ? Does solana are high supply or limited supply coin compared others ?
So i think we see 7000$ price because supply and demand but even that much gain it's not life Changing gain so that's why i don't try to get rich with alt coins neither with btc but it's nice to some gains.
But now the sol is hot specially when other coins are sleeping what's the solana price targets ?
Are you fan of solana ? Im big fan of solana i think it's the best chain i want to invest more into.

Solana has already seen much larger demand and its current price of Solana at less than $150 is a good deal. A good price hike and solana meme coins would go wild and which ever the meme be, it would help the price of Solana up. And unlike Ethereum, Solana won't botch the bull as they can handle huge demand with their large TPS.
Solana would reach at least $300 within this year and would be one of the best investment you can make. Meme coins have more potential but it's hard to decide which one of them would break out. There are alternatives of Solana but it would take them time to reach where Solana already is.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network. Legitimate or a waste of time? on: May 02, 2024, 04:19:05 PM
Hello! Not sure if many of you here have heard or are aware of the Pi Network. It's a project that aims to create a decentralized cryptocurrency network that can be mined using smartphones though it hasn't launched its mainnet yet.

What are your thoughts on this approach? Do you see potential benefits or drawbacks to delaying the mainnet launch, and how might this impact the network's future adoption and development? Do you think it's even legitimate or would you be just wasting time and space getting this on your mobile device?

Pi network is a scam. They are stealing people's private data through KYC. They claim just a part of your balance is withdrawable but to withdraw it, you need to do KYC. After you give your KYC, when you try to withdraw, you find that the coin can't still be withdrawn.
In other to make people do the KYC, they are trading a fake Pi token on a popular exchange that has nothing to do with this pi. Seeing the large amount of their coins value, people don't realize it's fake and gives their data to the scammers. The pi scammers in return uses this data to do illegal activities and even sell them online.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you holding any gaming based altcoins? on: May 02, 2024, 04:10:52 PM
Thousands of altcoins are in the crypto market. There are lots of catageoy and gaming catageoy is one of these. There are some popular altcoins like Immutable, Render, The Sandbox, Axie Infinity are belongs to gaming catageoy and those coins are working to improve gaming industry. They were performed good in previous bull run. So many people showing interest with them. So do you have any gaming altcoin what you are holding or any plan to holding altcoins from gaming catageoy?

I had in past held some of them but not now and I don't suggest anyone to invest on gaming based coins because it's plain stupid.
No game can get people involved like Triple A games and these studios earn so much from their game sells that they won't bother making their own crypto.
Many crypto games did attracted me and several other for their free coins on playing but the userbase is temporary which shifts when the profit is low.
I don't see any gaming crypto projects achieving success in near future. The only way they can have any significance is, if a Triple A gaming studio launches in game currency in blockchain.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes' ‘Good for Nothing' Blockchains on: May 02, 2024, 03:09:25 PM
I agree to all of it. All the reasons given are valid and everyone should consider it before investing on any of them. Almost all of them are dying projects.
I'm a bit defensive about Litecoin, it might be my bias but I believe Litecoin would still be popular at least a decade more. It has a good accumulation from whale.
Monero too is still quite popular in dark web but is dying due to heavy restrictions. I've recently been suggesting people Ripple, Cardano, EOS and Steller are dead. Same is for Algorand and Tezos. I got a little bit excited and at times held ICP and Kaspa but a few months and I realized, they are not developing forward. Other coins too are useless.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time for Litecoin to shine again? on: May 01, 2024, 02:18:24 PM
Litecoin reached around $110+ last year. It's last all time high was $370+. We've seen bitcoin break it's all time high this year but litecoin hasn't been any near. Even if they reached half of their all time high, i.e. 150+, it would be x2 at current price. Litecoin is a solid POW coin which is secure and decentralized. They are limited in number and cheap and fast to transact. They are widely accepted as payment in many platforms and wallets. It's a good time to accumulate some litecoin.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Coins still Catch Up With The Likes of Doge and Shib? on: May 01, 2024, 09:37:18 AM
Dogecoin and Shiba Inu seem to have move ahead on their valuation leaving other meme coins behind. Doge about 18B and Shib at 12B. Dogecoin is the original meme coin and Shiba Inu was it's copy. Other memecoins seems to be much lower with PEPE and WIF at 2B and Bonk and Floki at 1B. Among them Bonk might have a great potential but PEPE and WIF are going to be here along it. I'm not much sure about Floki but the coins lower than them, BOME and MEW could do a x10 to come along prominent memecoins. The dominance of Dogecoin might remain for few more years but Shib would be soon caught up by other coins.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: April 2024 recorded the lowest amount lost to hack. on: May 01, 2024, 01:37:39 AM
This is a good news. Crypto, exchanges, blockchains, smart contract, defis, they are still in rudimentary developing phase and decrease in number and amount of hacks do mean we are on a high ground of development. It means we are approaching a situation where people would start believing Crypto is not a scam but a financial and technological tool. Hacks and Patches are ever going task but being able to get rid of the easier loopholes would make the market much safer and trustworthy.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: April 30, 2024, 12:07:22 AM
What did you think about the future of dogecoin?
Is it going to do well in the future?
The reason why I'm saying this is because I'm holding dogecoin, did you think I should keep holding it?

I'm not bullish on Dogecoin. It has increased in price more than I had expected. It would surely follow any bull or bear but the overall price of it might decay as time passes. There needs to be a significance or a use case for a coin to sustain it's price. The only significance doge has now are the occasional shill from Elon Musk. But if Elon Musk created a new coin or switched side to another coin, the dogecoin might not be able to sustain current price. The price inflation of Dogecoin is unnatural and it's better to invest on other meme coins that has more natural resistance.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano vs Ethereum on: April 28, 2024, 04:37:01 PM
I think both of the Ethereum and Cardano are on a dying phase. The death of Cardano is more visible than Ethereum as Ethereum has the benefit of being pioneer and still is the largest platform for dapps. But competition are catching up like Solana. The competition would keep on getting tougher as better and newer L1 network arrives.
Cardano on the other hand was in development for so long that when the dapps actually started coming, the network is not as close to the new ones in technology and real life experience.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Practical Coins on: April 27, 2024, 05:43:04 PM
DASH seemed to have partnered with many merchants to accept Dash as a transaction coin. Online, Litecoin has much better acceptance rate followed by bitcoincash and Dogecoin. Litecoin being fast and cheap in fees is an obvious choice for most. Dash too have low fees but not as less as Litecoin and a lot of websites I use don't accept DASH. Bitcoincash too previously had an program for giving bitcoincash accepted here sign to merchants and is widely accepted in real world business. But a coin like Nano or the one using that sort of technology having instant transaction with zero or minimal fees would be easier for merchants to accept.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Innovation and Adoption Conquer Blockchain Scalability Issues? on: April 27, 2024, 05:27:07 PM
As the technology keeps on advancing, we'd find more safer and easier way to make transactions happen. Once it was thought anything other than POW won't be safe. POW itself did have security issues. Now there are multiple ways of validating a transaction and it's rapidly improving. Solana has achieved a huge real life TPS and other coins like Hedera claims better numbers. In the race of scalability the ones that falls behind would go obsolete while newer coins would gradually replace the older ones. Non of the popular coins at the time are entirely future proof as crypto is in phase of rapid development.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post halving, why are altcoins the most affected on: April 27, 2024, 04:30:50 PM
Bitcoin halving might have come and gone, but we won't forget the immediate impact it had on the crypto market especially altcoins, The immediate impact of the halving this year is not like business as usual when we always have a bull run after the halving event, we are experiencing a decline in price in Bitcoin and the crypto market in general with altcoins the most affected, some altcoins witnessed a 50% decline in price, while most experienced a slight decline in price,  Analytically some investors have predicted a bull run by next year which will also in turn affect the rise in price of some altcoins too, so putting this into consideration there are few altcoins to put our eyes on so we can Hodl which is the ETH and DOGE as they might experience a significant bull run in less than no time,

Coins are not entirely pegged to one another. Bitcoin leads the market without doubt but it's not the only determinant of price. Bitcoin too have decreased significantly just before the halving and the price change is followed by most alts. Now both bitcoin and alts are on sideways movements. There might be some altcoins that might have been affected more than other. Like when bitcoin fell 10%, most of the memecoin fell 30% and are yet to recover to previous prices. It doesn't mean they are bad or scam but it just means the traders mentality and trading pattern of every coins could be different.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 26, 2024, 06:00:49 PM
The problem with staking wbtc or other form of btc and wrapped btc, the interest rate provided are very low. The interest on btc are also low in centralized exchanges. It's more risk to stake the coin and spend on fees than you actually gain form staking. If you have btc on centralized exchange lying around and have no plan to sell it at current prices, it's good to stake them. But if you are to really earn on the market, you could place a grid order which on long run has a better ROI even if the price difference are larger. Just make sure the grid limits exceeds your price expectations.
