41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Should people wait for confirmation of Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2016, 04:09:05 AM
I just thought about this today. Every time you are transacting with bitcoin, you will be told that you have to wait for bitcoin confirmation. This is common with bitcoin gambling sites. What I know is that bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Then why is it that you have to wait for the confirmation before initiating anything?

Even though the possibility of a double spend is very low, some small rest of risk always exists.
That's why we are told to wait for confirmation. If however you have 100% trust to your other party, because you know him for many years and everything always went smooth and fine you don't need to wait of course.

did you mean that we do not need to wait if we send our coins to someone we know for years and we trust him almost 100%? so how do we send those coin without taking too long for waiting? how could it be? probably you can give some explanation or tutorial because I think another OP's purpose asking that question is he wants to know whether any other way to send coins without waiting. cmiiw.

43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 30, 2016, 01:49:27 AM
I think you should explain to him that every one is different. When someone uses bitcoin to do some illegal things, it does not mean that every one who uses bitcoin also use it that way. tell him that there are a lot of way of earning bitcoin and spending it. give him some example, and probably you can show him how you earn and spend bitcoin. Keep trying.
44  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: November 29, 2016, 06:13:15 PM
What are your bad experiences in bitcoin? Not just scammed by other users it could also include HYIP, Cloud mining scams, investment scams, etc. I know it's a bad thing that happened, I think it's better to share them here so you could vent out on what you are feeling.

Feel free to post anything.

Alhamdulillah I have never been scamed because I always ask to my friend when I want to do a bitcoin related job. Even he explained me about HYIP etc in the first time he introduced bitcoin to me. Besides, I read some threads here about scam, so I carefully take bitcoin earning way.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 03, 2016, 10:10:51 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

for children, you can teach them by playing or using cartoon movie or 3D art in video that looks fun, then show it to them. I think children love such thing, so probably they will be interested in watching it. so when they watch, you just need to explain some. it makes your explanatiom easier.

I wonder why they are so curious of the other creatures' lifes. I mean, does it bring benefits to know whether alien exists or not? I don't think so. It's just wasting time.

51  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do you know when a site tries to scam you? on: October 24, 2016, 02:43:57 AM
I am writing about the sites where you have to make a deposit before buy and the site offers to act as a MM in deals.

How could I know when they are trying to scam me? In general, how do I know if a MM site is trusted?

1. Scan the site, there are have a malware/virus on the site.
2. Look at company profile. Then research it.
3. Look at the system. Don't easy to believe you can earn high commission just doing useless thing. High commission is mostly use by site scam to steal your money.
4. Don't easy to believe because the site has been run for more than a year/2 years. Point 3, look at system.

There are some my opinion points.

that's good advices. thank you.

I ever found a site/service that offers a high commission, but we need to do an easy job. So I looked for information about the site from my friends and read some threads about the site, and then I knew that it was a scam.

or we can read the feedbacks about the site, and see if the site has sertificate or not.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: October 13, 2016, 06:43:29 AM
What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: I would sell 90% of my bitcoins
Bitcoin hit $1,000 again: I would sell 75% of my bitcoins
Bitcoin stayed where it was: I would hold my bitcoin, but I would sell it if I need fiat
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: I would hold it
And which of these do you think is most probable?
stayed where it is
53  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2016, 06:39:20 AM
A friend of my want to give me 3BTC and he want me to pay him back 4BTC in 2month 7days but he asked me what will i do with it, how can i turn 3 bitcoin to 4 in 2 month 7days, what is the best investment that can give me good ROI in that short period

So please i ask for your advice

well I advise you not to take those 3 bitcoins because it's risky. just be realistic. 2 months for 1 bitcoin is not easy for me. it's better not to take yourself in risk.

What was the first thing you bought with your Bitcoin? Did you treat your loved ones to a classy restaurant? Or did you bought something for yourself? Bitcoin indeed is really helpful Smiley

the first thing I bought is book. the book is about the translation of qur'an and the explanation. I was into bitcoin because I wanted to buy the book.

mungkin give away atau bounty. tapi saya ikutnya signature campaign sih cuma capek mikir
59  Economy / Services / Re: INCENT: Signature Campaign / Social Media Bounties on The Viral Exchange on: October 13, 2016, 05:35:07 AM
Can you explain me what stake is in reward of signature campaign?

and when will the end of ICO be?

thanks
End of ICO is on 30th November or when we reach $5m, whatever happens first.

The amount of stakes is your share of the signature campaign bounty. In the end it will be calculated as followed: ('Bounty Pool Sig Camp'/'Total Stakes')*'Your stakes'. The total bounty pool is 1% of sold Incent tokens of which 40% are allocated to the signature campaign.

wait a second, I'm sorry I can't get the sense of "stake" here.
