41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 20, 2013, 04:01:42 AM
I might be ignorant, but I can see colors well Grin Your ignore button is highlighted in light yellow, which means someone pressed it. I said nothing about KNC, just assumed that you might not see some colors, because you keep insisting that your ignore link isn't yellow. That's all. If it it is not yellow to you, then fine by me, as if I gave any shit about that
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 20, 2013, 01:21:19 AM
Maybe the guy is color blind and just does not realize it. John Dalton didn't know he couldn't see red until like 25 or something. Or he has uber crappy 2001 LCD monitor which will not show such light yellow color (I've dealt with those, I know how it goes)
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Can your Asic Chip Vendor Guarantee Delivery Time? If NO Please Don't Buy! on: August 19, 2013, 04:38:40 PM
Sounds like KNC is trust worthy then. They accept CC/paypal things. If they deliver on time, they will be heroes here
44  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcoin "Monarch" PCI Express 600 GH/s cards.. What the heck on: August 19, 2013, 04:35:41 PM
Oh come on, people. You are cruel and unfair to poor BFL. It's not like they are not trying Grin Grin Grin
But seriously, 600mhash/s how are they going to cool all that in such small blade? Will it be again "two more weeks and you have it in your hands, we swear! We just need to fix cooling/power issue it will take 3 more days and you'll have it in 2 weeks!"
45  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Question for professional miners and lawyers... on: August 18, 2013, 03:38:32 AM
No farm yet, hardware makers are being depressing, etc. I won't do it alone, I'd need help with opening business in first place
46  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Question for professional miners and lawyers... on: August 18, 2013, 01:17:55 AM
Maybe I could use pool fee as business expense! Grin

If you registered as an MSB and sold coins on MtGox you would be obligated to collect THEIR KYC information (due to a lack of any exchange exemption).
I thought of that! I come to Mt Gox, they demand my personal details... I turn around and demand their:D
So, that KYC thing. If I register small business, would I give my company details, or still my own?

I absolutely understand that, I'm just asking these to get general ideas about this. Maybe someday I'll quit my job and be hired by me to maintain equipment for computing cluster for pools Grin
48  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Question for professional miners and lawyers... on: August 18, 2013, 12:00:47 AM
Thanks for extended answer! I guess if I build a farm, I'll register a business, pay business taxes, write business expenses and such. If they come to me, I'd get a lawyer and argue that "I wasn't generating any money, I was simply providing my computation power to the pool which payed for that power" Grin Because even wallet shows when you mine your own coins and when you simply receive them. So I lend my hardware to the pool, pool pays me. I take one currency and exchange it for the other. That's it
49  Bitcoin / Legal / Question for professional miners and lawyers... on: August 17, 2013, 10:26:53 PM
Not seeking for legal advice or anything, but after that FinCEN crap, miners are money transmitters...
So, let's say I've built nice 2-4TH/s farm. I've registered my own business, I'm renting facility to house my farm. so I have all these business expenses, I mine for profit, I pay myself salary, business bills etc. Would I have register my little business as money transmitting organization? Even though my business wouldn't have any customers I would deal with exchanges only.
I don't have the farm or anything like that, but miners section of FinCEN is confusing
50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WTF Avalon? Ship the Chips! on: July 31, 2013, 07:16:51 AM
As far as I see it noone in their right mind would do future business with Avalon due to artificial delays to promised '9-11 week' lead times.  It's unacceptable.

I swear,I have NOTHING to do with the delays  Angry

51  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous reloadable prepaid plastic VISA ATM cards on: July 14, 2013, 12:14:32 AM
is it possible to use them in USA? Huh  I know they are visa and all, but
everyone knows how depressing USA is these days...  Will it have some card holder's name printed on it? So, if I go to ATM machine it would probably work, but if I go to some grocery store or wal mart?  Would I be able to use these cards these? Also some sites that selling stuff online demand billing address and they check it real time... How would that work? Thanks
52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Selling jalapeno check it out! on: July 12, 2013, 07:03:01 PM
Remember those old good days, when BTC1=$230 and Avalon batch 1 preorders were sold on ebay for like $30k. Old good days...
Oh wait, it was 4 or so months ago Grin
53  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] KNCMINER DAY 1 DELIVERY SATURN 200GH/SEC on: July 02, 2013, 11:02:54 PM
200BTC?  Shocked Are you mad?? that's not even for 400Gh/s? Hell no. for BTC200 I'll buy directly from KNC even if that would mean the end of the queue. I'll get more hashes, more ROI. Thanks for kind offer, though
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC seized by EU , european & german Customs on: July 02, 2013, 10:58:06 PM
sure, sure. As if Avalons had all the appropriate certifications Grin
But they were willing to declare it as "industrial controller" or something like that and lower the cost on the customs form, while BFL said they won't lie about these things
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC website update @ 400 GH is actually slower than it was before... on: June 30, 2013, 10:15:35 PM
Bitfury does not officially sell outside of Russia though.
56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC website update @ 400 GH is actually slower than it was before... on: June 30, 2013, 09:34:41 PM
it never cease to amaze me how people are never happy. However, I predict that if KNC delivers 400 GH/s in september, they will be mega heroes here. Plus it will kill, assassinate, muderize BFL's mini rig. 500 GH/s for 22k vs 400GHs for 7k... heh. Who else can compete with KNC? Avalon probably won't make anymore asics, just will be selling chips. AsicMiner is quite expensive for its speed.  But after KNC delivers in september there might be a price increase in their miners...
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL order on: June 30, 2013, 09:23:53 PM
pics or it didn't happen  Grin

Well, BFL has stated they intend to have all current back orders fulfilled in September.
September, you say? It will be AMAZING if KNC miner will deliver their asics before BFL
59  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 on: June 22, 2013, 09:46:08 AM
Damn, damn damn!! I would take this thing even without flux capacitor!
just driving one of these... heck yeah! This is style, not ugly modern cars (like nissan juke is the most notable one)
heck, I'd buy it if I had 300 bitcoins... I like this car not even because of the movie. I just love the design
60  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Avalon batch 1 unit, in hand. Escrow with John.K. Free express shipping. on: June 18, 2013, 05:47:33 AM
235 bitcoins? ouch.  But someone will probably buy it Grin This is wrong time to sell it for such price, in my opinion... when difficulty was lower, BTC price was $200+ yeah, tons people would pay even more. but now? Anyone? Wouldn't it be better to buy several KNC Jupiters for that price? yeah, delivery is not today. but heck, hashrate they'll deliver will pay off. If I'm wrong and this price is fair, educate me
