You cant launch something that is not fully tested and ready. 4 months is a lot for such projects that are plenty on this forum. 4 months is nothing in serious projects like is Bitcoin or Monero.
September is perfect date since school start then.

I urge you to re think the launch. I hope the lack of activity on here and downward pressure on exchanges make you realize your mistakes. June is basically the only month you can launch in to succeed.

Such a delayed release is the worst mistake you have made and may just be the beginning of the end for bcy. Spells of Genesis may be better off looking for a better currency to be it's base. |

Volume is extinct
Nothing is going to happen to Bcy until game is released. Yeah and maybe from a pure game point of view a September release would make sense but from an investor point of view it's the worst thing that could happen. For investors the best thing that could happen is the game is released before bitcoin is halved because at that point we will likely a massive move to btc without any reason to keep bcy. |

You may have noticed that Bitcrystals is coming down very strong in the market. I believe that this fact is also due to the lack of visibility on a new roadmap and an indicative date of the official game launch.
During crowfunding the roadmap stops at the end of April.
If there's one thing the market hates is "not knowing what's going on", so please do prepare a new official roadmap for the good of the project and to respect the people who have invested money.
Yeah I was under the impression this was to launch at the end of april? That did not happen and there has been no update as to why or when. |

lol like what? As it seems we will have new season of testing and after that game will most possibly start. Anything as bcy is the biggest loss I have ever incurred. All the other alts have recovered and then some except bcy which continues to drop daily. |

Spells of Genesis publisher proposal: All4Games | Dear SoG supporters,
Today we have some very exciting news to share with the community and we need your feedback.
We previously mentioned we are in discussion with All4Games, they are a new videogame branch from the television
broadcast company Channel 4, one of the biggest TV network in the UK. It’s a half private and half public British firm.
They reached out to us to endorse the role of publisher for Spells of Genesis.
Publishers in the gaming industry are responsible for product development and marketing, including market research
and all aspects of advertising. They usually have more money and more reach than developers. They usually have big
marketing budgets and/or a broad network to push the product. In our case All4Games are not committing to invest
money directly in customer acquisition but will be offering their communications channels which have a lot of reach,
especially to the “non-bitcoin”, mainstream gaming community. All4Games is pretty new to the game publishing business
but they succeeded to have one of their games, Super Arc Lite, featured by Apple which is the holy grail of visibility.
Publishers usually play a big role in the revenue making of a game.
The terms of their participation are on a revenue share model and details are as follows for the game income and the
deriving product income:
- 15% on net revenues from £0 - £100,000 (incl)
- 20% on net revenues from £100,000 - £200,000 (incl)
- 25% on net revenues from £200,000 and above
Taking the above in consideration, EDS (us) will have to share up to 25% of the revenue. Seen that we burn 50% of the
BCY income, once we join this new deal, we will have 12.5% less burn.
We want to ask you the following question:
“Should we accept the deal and collaborate with All4Games, who will become our publisher?”
Our take on this
We recommend to vote yes for the following reasons:
- Their revenue share is very reasonable, publishers usually take 30 to 50%
- They commit to translate the game in several languages, this will give the game a broader reach
- The fact that a public television network publishes a blockchain-based game will give unbelievably good press to
Spells of Genesis and blockchain projects as a whole.
We have been amazed and pleased at the same time by the support received by the community and the many testers
that are currently helping us out. However, for SoG to be successful we cannot rely on bitcoiners and cryptocurrency
enthusiasts alone, this opportunity will allow us to grow our user base by making Spells of Genesis known to a much
wider audience. We believe this will be of great benefit to us as well as our Token Sale supporters and partners.
