41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: May 12, 2018, 09:16:04 AM
Yeah, buy until it's too late. I actually bet this coin can bring profits very soon, and not in long-term period
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: May 12, 2018, 09:13:48 AM
For real, that could be even scam ICOs undermining market a bit. But I tend to think the market is bullish right now, bulls want to get it back to 8200-8600$ mark.Don't forget all that loud assertments about BTC being a bubble this week)
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: May 12, 2018, 09:10:31 AM
The reason for right now is that market wasn't high enough to break $10k mark for about a week, and now investors took pause for a while. In case Bitcoin could have broken the tenK mark, situation could be totally opposite
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: May 10, 2018, 07:44:29 AM
Next is still 10000)) what was you thinking opening this thread? I bet it will be walking around 10-10,5 mark for a couple more months. No preconditons at all it can grow fast
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: May 10, 2018, 07:41:12 AM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?

Volatility is important in cryptocurrency. It gives every investor or user the ability to purchase coins when they at low price and able to gain profit when they are at high price. If coins are stable, then there will be no more excitement because they stuck forever in that certain amount.

You're talking here only about home investors, who want to get hilarious profits. These times have passed away. Cryptos won't bring you fortune. Volality will indermine the whole trust in cryptos and in case they won't find balance in nearest future, no business will be interested. Volatility and unclarilty is a big no-no for anybody except crypto enthusiast and homegrown traders

Tulkas i would like a a little explanation of how loans tied to MtGoxUSD works

briefly --> you have a loan for 1btc.  if mtgoxusd goes up $X amount, you only have to pay 0.9btc after interest.  if mtgoxusd goes down, you have to pay 1.1btc.

for the bower, you are paying back the same dollar value, for the lender, you are getting the dollar value you lent plus interest.

please tell me how to do a motion.
50  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: June 30, 2013, 11:50:43 AM
1) Motions: borrowers can create a motion to change the loan terms, they are submitted to be voted by investors. boonies4u was the first borrower to use it.

We have placed a FAQ online, it will soon cover that new features, i will also announce it here.

so uh, i cant find motions anywhere.

Question about the BTC deposit addresses: it says they're only valid for 24h. What happens if a user sends BTC to a deposit address that has expired? Because one current late payer is claiming that's what they did and why they're late. And that sounds like BS to me. Surely you keep the private keys to expired addresses?

this question was addressed earlier in this thread.  he said something like you might still get your btc but it's not guaranteed.
