41  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: January 27, 2017, 08:14:37 PM
Bitcoin has multiple use also. You can hold it for future and you can invest in other crypto. You can trade the bitcoin and make some more with bitcoin.
Unlike gold you dont need government permission or very large investment to mine bitcoin.
Bitcoin is for everyone from trader to businesman. From men to women everyone can use bitcoin for their needs.
Bitcoin is for everyone indeed, we have the right to use it but we need to be responsible also. There are many ways on how we can use bitcoin in our daily life. It has been part of my lifestyle easily, my day will be incomplete if I can't see my coins.

Bitcoin is has changed many people life style but some are depended on bitcoin and some are independent on bitcoin, those who are independent will not save their bitcoin because they are afraid of it because of it's price. It's their wish because every one has his own opinion on bitcoin.
If these individuals buy Bitcoin today knowing that there is a possibility that they need to cash out tomorrow, then surely Bitcoin is not a good investment for them. In my opinion, Bitcoin is a good way to store value, but the benefits are easier to perceive in the long term, because in the short term the price is subject to very high variations, both positive and negative.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: January 27, 2017, 08:09:51 PM
Bitcoin is much better and more comfortable, and it is easier to change it for cash.

It really depends on where you are comfortable, there are people who are not here on forum and works for freelancing.

They are loving on how Paypal is helping them to receive payments from their clients and just transfer it to their banks.

And of course for us who are here in bitcoin forum, we will say that bitcoin better. But for me, it is good to use them both, it's an advantage.
Yeah, this is something that will depend on the user and the situation. A few years ago, I used PayPal, and had no problems, but after using Bitcoin, I realized that there are several advantages with regard to convenience and fees. There are people who have not yet adapted to the concept of decentralized technologies, probably did not realize the benefits of it, and have become accustomed to other forms of payment.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: January 25, 2017, 01:33:10 PM
i think the price will be in high but i don't know how much the range because i can not make prediction about what happen with bitcoin in 2018, better to do what we are doing now and get ready for anything that will happen in future.

Bitcoin price will be higher than the present and will be having low volatility than any other cryptocurrencies. The price cannot be calculated accurately because the variations doesn't have any fixed limit. It goes to any extent.
We can't say for sure, but it is possible to realize that there are many signs that strengthen forecasts that Bitcoin will appreciate in the long run. Some of these signs are the growing involvement of third world countries, and the possible solution for the scaling issue. However, the last point will be something that can still bring several debates, as there is not enough consensus on the best solution to solve this problem.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me the best ICO to invest. on: January 25, 2017, 01:09:09 PM
Looking to invest 1 btc in some good running ICO which is legitimate and has good potential.
Do not suggest any ico just because you are a part of their signature campaign.Give a good reason please that why you think it is a good investment opportunity.

Now it is not the right to buy with ICO because many coin are failing at final stages of their ICO. So better keep track of all ICO and note down their values in the ICO. After hitting the exchanges may there is up and downs, according to your analysis which one is giving more profit you stay with them.
This can be very risky, and I think this will depend on how things will happen with Bitcoin for the next few months. If SegWit support remains stagnant for too long, I think the level of instability in Bitcoin markets will increase. In this case, there will be better chances for altcoins and ICOs.
There is, of course, a possibility that Bitcoin will continue to rise in value, even if the scaling issue is not resolved soon... that is a possibility that should be considered.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: January 25, 2017, 12:45:36 PM
Simply and most of the mistakes was panic selling and panic buying when i saw some big dumps in a price or big pump in a price i will buy or sell which is too wrong as i realize .Listening also to the Chatbox/Troll Box to buy that coin or to sell now is a bad thing to do .Make your own decision when to buy or sell is a better move.
Listening on Chatbox/Troll box is really a big NO since i do listen to those guys in the past when i was a newbie but later on i realized that they are just saying fud into their own coin and saying false news on dumps and pumps thats why i dont visit too much or read on those trollboxes anymore.
I was also relying on these chatbox on yobit when I started to trade but at that time I also used to use my own mind so I was doing according to the pricing. Often the chatters suggest for those coins which have bot started to pump so I often do short term trade in those coins. But now I know that these people only want others to invest to recover their profit.
This is one of the most risky decisions, because in general these chatboxes are full of coordinated groups of people who decide for themselves the right time to pump or dump certain coin. In my opinion, the best way to get information, is doing your own research, through reliable sources, that allow you to obtain information faster and more efficiently. And, of course, listening to opinions of trusted and reputable people in crypto.

It is necessary to collect information to at least choose the right cryptocurrency, because that's how it becomes possible to stay away from easily manipulated markets.

47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: So should I make this bet with 1 bitcoin? on: January 24, 2017, 08:07:26 AM
Go all in man, there's no rush better then the feeling of going all in and winning! Best feeling in the world.

Oh, man. I'm really sorry that you are thinking that way, because it's so typical for a gambling addict. I hope you were joking though.

What I really can't understand in the OP is why it was impossible to withdraw the winnings? The OP is saying of this like it was predetermined, but why?

if i have 1 bitcoin, i think i don't want to go all in but i will only use half or small part for make a bet because i am to afraid to see if somehow i only get loss. i think its because i don't have much of bitcoin so i don't think its good for me to directly get loss with 1 bitcoin. but its depend on what OP want and i only can say good luck with your bet and i hope the OP can win the games.
I also would not put that amount of money into gambling. I think gambling can be a good way to have fun, and maybe make some money. However, I'm not in a hurry, so holding Bitcoin seems to be a better way to make a profit in the crypto space, and the level of risk is acceptable, in my opinion.
This is something that depends on each one, there are people who have lots of money, so it may not be a big problem for them to invest one Bitcoin in gambling.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 100% safe? on: January 24, 2017, 08:01:15 AM
I read that in the beginning there were some serious problems with regard to technical aspects and vulnerabilities, but developers have managed to solve most of them in the early years. At the moment, I think the biggest problems with the Bitcoin network, are problems related to scalability, but there are many competent developers working on it.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 24, 2017, 05:40:39 AM
Cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin are the future whether someone like it or not. Sooner or later they will become equal to fiat money. New technologies are taking place of old ones and so it's in the world of finances. The development of cryptocurrencies can't be stoped anymore.

That's right, though before many critics accused that bitcoin is one of the scam sites, and some says also it is ponzi scheme, But the result of their criticizing into bitcoin is the main reason why more people are get interested to use it. And because of that the demand of the community was instantly increase so the value is rapidly increase like a skyrocket. So this is a sign of why bitcoin will become a future digital currency.
Certainly many critics have no idea what Bitcoin is. Bitcoin is an electronic payment system, functioning in a decentralized manner and supported by people around the globe. This has nothing to do with scam websites. Some people associate Bitcoin with bad things because there are scammers who try to associate the reputation of Bitcoin to their ponzi schemes. The point is that this is something that has no connection to the Bitcoin network.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: January 23, 2017, 11:06:58 AM
yes that words is correct, gambling doesn't make you rich but we can still make some profits from gambling and i think isn't only for fun
lots of funny things than we should risk our money, right? of course we still want to win and make huge profits and after make huge profits i will withdraw it and enjoy the money first and will back gambling again next day
easy money , easy to spend to right?
when you won a huge amount you will spend it for big things too ,
like to buy a new car , a new house etc ,
but when you won a little money only , you may will just spend it for a good food that you rarely eat it isn't it? Cheesy
Well, I agree. If I ever won a huge amount in gambling, I would definitely buy a house or a Lamborghini. If those money was not enough for me to buy such things like that, I would consider investing my money into some potential project in order to obtain more money from it. I believe that I am wise enough to know how to increase the value of my profit

It is impossible to make money to afford a house or lambo, you know most people lose in gambling. Only a few break even or win a little. You can make money from trading, but not gambling
Actually there is a possibility, but it is very low. I think the big problem is that the individual would have to put a large amount of money to make it possible. In addition, the player would be exposed to very high risks. If I had that amount of money to invest, I would certainly look for something different.
51  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: January 23, 2017, 04:15:55 AM
Bitcoin is a good investment because
1. Price is looking strong
2. Bitcoin have recovered quite nicely from that big dump happened few months back
3. After the price touched 1100$ it came back to 700$ but the price became stable now at 900$+
All the facts show that bitcoin will always remain a safe place to invest into.
As long as people interested with bitcoin, it's price will always go up because the limitation of the amount will make the demand easily increase. Bitcoin good investment because that reason.
Indeed, Bitcoin really is a very scarce currency, more than some people think. Therefore, it is natural that there is a considerable upward trend in the long run. But this is not the main reason that makes Bitcoin a good investment. What makes this is a good investment, in my opinion, is the fact that the way money is issued and the functioning of the network occur in a decentralized way. And currently, there is no other system with the same level of decentralization, efficiency and stability. That's why so many people rely on it to store value.
52  Other / Archival / Re: New forum for bitcoiners, Join here on: January 23, 2017, 04:03:34 AM
Good initiative, it's always important to have more places to talk about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. As a suggestion, I think you should improve marketing if you want to expand your forum to a larger audience.
53  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer T9 Bitcoin Miner on: January 17, 2017, 10:58:14 PM
Is this available in the hashnest market? If not, I hope it does not take too long to be there.
Last year, the s9 miners took so long to get into the hash market that I don't think it was worth buying it.
54  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best cloud mining site !!! on: January 03, 2017, 06:10:35 PM
If you really are willing to go into this business, the best alternative is certainly to mine on your own, but first you need to be aware of the costs to build a mining rig. Probably the best option for beginners is altcoins mining, most people comment that the difficult to mine Bitcoin is increasing at a rate that requires high investments in order to compete in the market.
If you're aware of the costs and the difficulty that doesn't seem to stop with increasing, then the choice would be easy to skip building yourself a home Bitcoin mining rig.

If you want to build something anyway, then the best shot would be to build something purely altcoin related as that is the only profitable way of mining for the average person nowadays.

But then again, I have never found buying actual mining gear to be very rewarding. Simply buying Bitcoin has always been the best yielding option in recent years.
Buy and hold seems to be the best option for me as well. The fact that there are people mining with practically free electricity makes me think that it would be very difficult to get into this business.
However, I have seen that there are people finding alternatives to this, and companies providing more efficient equipment. I think the name of one of them is pandaminer. Seems to be a relatively new company.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: January 03, 2017, 02:22:31 AM
The question is a bit subjective. I think the use should depend more on how much you trust the Blockchain Technology. If you can trust in a technology backed by math and cryptography, then I think you can certainly trust Bitcoin.
First you need to understand it, of course. The basic concepts behind this are easy to understand, in my opinion, but to have a deeper knowledge you will need to put a greater effort into it.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: January 03, 2017, 01:49:53 AM
i don't know, maybe same may not same. : the difference is in trading you may not lose all of your money in gambling you can lose all your money, i think not same  Cheesy

If you are talking about losing trading and gambling is just the same. In trading, you can also lose all of your money that invested into it if you don't know how to manage your trades and how to choose the right coins that has potential to give you profit. And that's just the same thing in gambling, you can play yolo all the way.

You can definitely lose in both trading and gambling. But the chance of losing on each of them is different. In trading you can minimize the risk of losing if you know what you are doing while in gambling the risk of losing is higher because of the house edge. And you always need to rely on luck in gambling while in trading it is optional.
In trading, in fact, you can't depend on luck. Trading is already a risky business, in the cryptocurrency space this is even riskier, because there are smaller markets and with less liquidity. Any event can cause sudden changes in price, so you have to be prepared with knowledge and good sources of information, so you do not have to depend on luck.

58  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: January 03, 2017, 12:57:40 AM
Price is important, but this is a result of mass adoption. So, mass adoption is something that should come first.

Either way, the two things will always work together. It's not possible for the currency to rise in value without a user base, and it's not possible to have a user base without the currency value being recognized in the market.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 03, 2017, 12:39:09 AM
Dev's are best scammer in the world! They feed African nerd some BTC and make you think they doing all work. Same time they rob 1000 BTC from community with premine and tell it is need for development. Apple kicked them out of store cause not trust! Gulden investors are idiots! Lame sheep, following dream that is nightmare! Dump while still above 100sat! Tank me later!
That's a lot of hate. But in fact, I have seen many negative reports regarding this crypto. If there is a premine, this should at least be something done in the most transparent way possible. I would not risk investing, especially now that Bitcoin is in a bull run.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: January 03, 2017, 12:28:34 AM
because i know that after some time it will really give me a good profit, also  because in present time the price of bitcoin is really very low and hope that the price of bitcoin is expected to increase very soon and it is also expected that the price of bitcoin will easy cross the 1000 $ at the end of this year,
The simple truth is that in order to make a profit, it is now worth more than $1000.
At the present time, this is certainly the biggest motivation of many users. But that's not just what makes people use Bitcoin. There are several websites that allow you to use Bitcoin to buy things, or virtual products, like games. In addition, many of these websites give discounts to people using Bitcoin.

Another great use is the possibility to store value using it.
We are getting to a point where many users feel more safe holding Bitcoin, rather than holding Fiat currency.
